Gate does have Rory, though so atleast it has a redeeming quality

Btw how bad was HoshiMemo translation actually? Was it generally shit or was it mainly problems with there being a lack of quality check, like the untranslated lines. If it is just a lack of quality checking I think that should be easy to fix, but it probably is difficult for a translator to quickly improve in regards to making things feel natural with their translation, so if the overall translation quality is bad on it I gues that is a pretty bad sign.

Personally I really like that they plan on releasing physical and not use kickstarter. Also nice to see that they seem yo push for mosaic free and have free patches for steam. So in terms of how they plan to release the things they seem very interesting to me. Really hope the translation won't be bad, a bit worriesome hearing the opinions on some of the translators previous translations.

Personally I import them through either amiami or playasia. I also do have a japanese psn account though since I prefere physical I have only used it to buy some extra stories on the sakurasou no pet na kanajo vn as well as download some day one dlc, and bought the oreimo vn, since it is a psp game.

Does refractory period not exist in eroge?
bakauchuujin replied to Zznbh's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Ye if you want to be a protagonist in an eroge you need the ultimate ability to be able to have sex as many times as needed. Either that or be injected with strange drugs (starless). -
Just learn japanese and play a lot of visual novels based on things that has an anime Like the date a live or nisekoi vn.

When I looked through mangagamers twitter it seems like their last update about If You Love Me, Then Say So! was right before the company went bankrupt (btw this was just a typically weekly update, nothing interesting). They haven't given any info at all it seems after they went bankrupt. Considering how close the update was and the bankrupcy I would gues mangagamer didn't expect them to go bankrupt when they did, this is ofc only speculations. Personally I hope we get the VN since it seems interesting.

Considering the name I gues atleast the name is a parody of no game no life. -

still quite some time left of this year. Feel like it is a bit too early to call something anime of the year

Personally I feel like Death March to the Parallel World Rhapsody is just like In Another World With My Smartphone just that it has better writing and better animation. Btw being better at that than smartphone is not hard.

Would be fun to see if cherrykissgames tried to get it published on steam. -
In your opinion, do visual novels portray romance realistically
bakauchuujin replied to ratboi's topic in Visual Novel Talk
At the end of this they do call it the ultimate imouto moenukige, though I gues the fact that they themselves define it as such doesn't necessarily mean that it actually is a subgenre. -
I found Karakai Jozu no Takagi-san to be really enjoyable, atleast the 2 first episodes. It is just so damn cute and funny. The general idea doesn't really sound that interesting, but it is just executed so extreemly well.

While I agree that nekopara isn't a nukige I am not sure about the part that a nukige can't pay attention to the personality and setting of the characters. For instance Eroge! H mo Game mo Kaihatsu Zanmai and Imouto Paradise! seem to do a decent job at this. They aren't the deepest stories with the best made characters, but I would say the effort that went into making the characters and setting is at about the same level as nekopara.

One example of a moege series with a harem ending is Nekopara. Imouto Paradise is kind of a moenukige, which has a harem end which is the true end. Also think Love Love Life Ojou-sama 7nin to Love Love Harem Seikatsu and Love Love ♥ Princess Ohime-sama ga Ippai! Motto Ecchi na Harem Seikatsu!! are moenukige with harem endings though I haven't played them yet, got the physical edition, just have a lot of other titles to read first. -

You forgot the fact that atleast one of the girls was his sister and atleast one of them his childhood friend. Also some of the girls may have been aliens that looks just like humans or spirits with superpowers
