I did But haven't played it yet - it waits in queue, as currently I'm busy with Clannad.
Can't you play it a little for a few hours at least to see if there's any issue? I might be interested in playing this version until the final 18+ restoration patch comes out.

So, is it safe to assume that Steam version is just PC port of that "Pure Station" console release, and should be not as messed up?
Probably? Problem is confirmation, as NOBODY in the VN fan circle community seem to have purchased the Steam version, everybody seem to have went straight for the 18+ version on Fakku.

From the looks of it, yes, just with some extra PSVR(lmao) stuff. Not gonna lie at the beginning when it said something about tender cars i read it as tendie. Good thing that dictionary thing is a thing.
Thanks for the confirmation, so it's becoming a little clearer why they botched the 18+ version then, basically it looks like they just lazily inserted the 18+ content from the original PC version on top of the PS4 version (called "Maitetsu -pure station-", that's coming out in 20 days in Japan) which most surely got new scenes/content and new voices to replace the 18+ content/scenes and it ended up turning into the messy release that we got.

Considering the game went to "stalled waiting on third party" on Sekai's official Trello board multiple times in response to developments in QA, it seems quite reasonable to suppose the statements on Dovac's twitter about not being able to touch the game themselves are accurate. I don't understand why this isn't believable; so what that Lose never released the specific mix of assets we saw in Japan? The claim is that they insist on doing all the technical work themselves. I've heard this about other localization projects in the past and Lose developing the US version in-house is very believable to me.
Isn't the "US version" just the Pure Station version on PC?

Thank you for doing this, forget Sekai, they never fixed Hoshizora no Memoria nor A Clockwork Ley-Line and as of now there's still no indication they will fix this either, as someone else pointed out Sekai doesn't even acknowledge that the release has problems, the only official statement on this issue comes from Fakku, and even if they eventually decide to fix Maitetsu it'll probably take them a few months to do it.

Not so sure about their ability to see a shitstorm coming, for instance they didn't seem to expect the shitstorm that happened when they said that they were only going to release the vita version of Root Double on US PSN. A bit after due to the shitstorm they got they said that they had reconsidered and would release a version for the EU PSN as well. If they are not able to predict a shitstorm due to many backers not getting what they paid for I honestly question their ability to predict a shitstorm. Maybe they just expected that no one would care about the Maitetsu problems, who knows.
Root Double is still not available outside the US:

That's Flowers Summer, and it's available at AX already and is coming out everywhere else in 11 days.
Ah got it, so that's 2 titles done already, so unless JAST manage to become faster (yeah right), the series should be done by 2022.

- Trample on Schatten releasing on July 16th
Glad to see that Trample on Schatten is FINALLY coming out, wasn't it announced way back in 2012?
3 hours ago, Decay said:- Work on Flowers Autumn has started (though JAST already announced their intent to translate the entire series a few years ago)
I just checked and wow can't believe that it's already been almost 2 years since Flowers -Le volume sur printemps- was released (I thought it was 1 year), seeing as how there are 4 titles in the series (1 for each season) at this pace JAST should be done with the series by 2023 or so... That is assuming -Le volume sur ete- actually comes out in 2018 (the official websites says: "Coming 2018"): http://flowersgame.com/flowers---le-volume-sur-ete--.html

If FAKKU weren't involved I would 100% say that only fans would be willing to fix this
That's exactly what happened with ChronoClock:
And that's even after Sekai Project re-released the game a second time (original release was in February 2017, re-release was in August 2017), so that's a 3rd unofficial release. And from what that anon is saying, the game is still not perfect, as he only fixed the most glaring issues.
Btw, what ever happened to that 18+ version of G-senjou no Maou that Sekai announced a decade ago?

Nobody can win of how slow Nasu made Tsukihime remake anyway, which in turn affected Mahoyo's sequel (Thanks FGO). In the end, maybe Mahoyo here could be ended like Xenogears and Xenosaga projects, ambitious but lack of will and resources to continuing it.
It sucks that they never made Xenogears Episode 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6, we only got Episode 5 and the game greatly drops in quality at around 3/4 of the game (budget issues?)
On to Mahoyo, it's crazy that the game still hasn't 1 complete translation in any western languages, there was 1 french translation project that just suddenly disappeared after releasing a few patches covering I think only up to Episode 7, and there's now like what? 5 English translation projects? And the game is still untranslated (MCJon did release partial patches until Episode 7 or so).

And 'fangirl' for 'fujoshi' is not bad. It certainly gets the idea across - something that takes fandom a little too far.
Lol no it's not, it remove all meaning to the word and remove even the derogatory meaning of it, when you call someone a "fujoshi" it's not a compliment!
The original japanese version clearly mentioned the fact that a female character was a fujoshi, a disgusting (rotten) girl who gets excited by the sight or thought of guys being together, the english version by SJW publisher NISA removes all of this and just says that the female is a "fangirl" without providing any other information nor context, by changing "fujoshi" to "fangirl" you eleminate all sexual and derogatory meaning from the context.

Are you playing stupid on purpose? He obviously wants the term "siscon" to be used.
There are some things that just don't translate well or can't be translated at all, "Fujoshi" translates in english as "Rotten Girl", but it still wouldn't make sense to a western audience without some TL Note that explains in details what that japanese centric term entails, so it might be better to just leave it as "Fujoshi" instead and not do what NISA did by "All-Aging" the term and translating it as "Fangirl", similarly it would be better to just leave "Siscon" as-is rather than attemping to come up with a more western and tamer term that doesn't convey the original meaning, for one "Siscon" is a derogatory term thrown at a person accused of having unchaste feelings or doing unchaste things towards one's sister, unlike "Sister Enthusiast" which is really neutral and doesn't even really mean anything. (how many times in your lives have you heard the term "Sister Enthusiast" being used?)

Nope, this is a pretty great translation, especially if the word is used in the humorous context.
What do you mean "Nope", you are going to say that you haven't seen how "Siscon" was translated as "Sister Enthusiast"? I mean if you are already selling an 18+ game, might as well go all the way and not try to PC-ify the thing.
I am guessing the reason why did they did is that since they were planning on releasing the game as both an All-Age and 18+ title, they just went the easy way in and made 1 PC-fied translation for the whole game while only removing the sex scenes from the All-Age version, of course that impacted things such as "Siscon" being turned into "Sister Enthusiast" in all versions of the game.
-
Anybody noticed that MangaGamer translated "Siscon" as "Sister Enthusiast"?
This is as bad as when NISA translated "Fujoshi" as "Fangirl".

The art for this game is very well done considering it is from a doujin group, reminds me oif the art style of Killer is Dead.

Dracu-Riot official release has yet to happen too (also from Sekai) and yet the unofficial complete patch was released almost 2 years ago.
Is this even a Visual Novel? Doesn't look much like one, looks more like Theresia.
