hmmmm Himawari
Holy **** what a coincidence, I just real quick remembered this game, as a result decided to come visit fuwa because of it, saw this thread title and thought "Himawari", I go in and the first reply was "Himawari"!
And yeah I agree, overall between the boring slice-of-life main routes (common, Aries, Aqua and Asuka) and the terrible let-down cliffhanger no-resolution ending, that game is overall a case of missed opportunities and self-tripping flagellation. The only redeeming feature of the game was it's two side-stories (only unlocked when you finish all main routes) which were far more interesting than anything else the game had to offer.
This seem to be common of this writer, his other game "ISLAND" also had a terrible ending which felt like it resulted in the game amounting to nothing, but AT LEAST the common route was funny, which is more than I can say of Himawari.

Kotori is the main heroine, she is central to the whole story of the game and every route spoils a part of her story.
Some people say if one part of Kotori's story is spoiled in every route then I am going to read her route first and read her complete story. But her route is intended as the big finale of the game and every other route branches of before that, so in reading her ending first you read the climax first and then go back to read the other routes which somewhat pale in comparison. (Not that they are bad, but you can notice that the main heroine is Kotori.)
I read it in the order that Clephas recommended and I don't regret that decision. But If you are only interested in Kotori then by all means read her route since the other routes aren't needed to understand her route.
Aww, I was hoping Iyo was the main heroine (I like non-human heroines in most cases), anyways I want to play all routes, so I will play it in the order Celphas recommends, thanks!

Like @Clephas mentions above you can say that Kotori is the main heroine. She is central to the whole storyline, even outside her own route. I am honestly unsure if that makes her a true heroine or if there is any difference, between main or true heroines.
But Celphas says that Kotori should have had her route done last while everybody else says to do her route first?

Is there a "true heroine"? Like who did protag had his first kiss with (it's mentioned very early in the game, but the protag doesn't mention who he had his first kiss with).

Good riddance and don't let the door hit your ass on the way out.
Yeah I don't like when translators take too much liberties with the original script and just basically rewrite whatever they want.

PS - After seeing that Erogamescape's average score Umineko Chiru EP 8 at 58 just because of the ending, perhaps it should be for the best to not trust the score from there anymore.
Yeah EGS is not reliable AT ALL for games that aren't eroges.

I hope I like it!

Waka-sama is Minato Carnival
So is Shinigami.

New title is great news... Minato soft has been mostly doing derivative works since Shinigami, and Shinigami was pretty terrible.
Well there was Waka-sama no Zasuru Sekai and Shoujo-tachi wa Kouya o Mezasu

It's incomplete? So there is a Vol. 4 or something in the works or something?

Shirone is best girl, too bad her ending is basically a bad end (unlike Yuuri and Sara endings).

This does exist, though not translated, sadly. Seisai no Resonance is like this.
Looks nice! Too bad I can't read Russian, or Chinese or Japanese...

Piracy is ingrained in the VN market due to the fact that originally, the only way to acquire virtually all VNs was to pirate them and apply a fan patch.
Not it wasn't.

"Improved translation"
I didn't realize there was anything to improve. Seemed pretty much flawless.
Some typos here and there, not too many (well it's not like the game is very long), but still not flawless.

Also... Fruitbat is not the one who fucked up Noratoto.
That might be the case, but a better question is, would Fruitbat have even gotten involved in the project (at least publicly) if the release was 18+? So far, Fruitbat hasn't given anything to add a benefit to the doubt, but instead it seems that Fruitbat is doing their darnest to be completely and utterly dissociated with anything 18+.

So they did. And now that I look at the status tracker again, the yuri title is probably https://vndb.org/r64810. I haven't even really thought about that one since it doesn't appeal to me at all.
Looking at the pictures, there's alot of dicks in there, doesn't look like a Yuri title, looks more like one of these medieval fantasy Black Lilith game.

They sort of have now, actually: mangagamer.org/announcements now says this: Update: Thank you to everyone who attended our Otakon panel! We'll be at Anime NYC next, so stay tuned for more information.
Curiously enough, unlike at AX, they didn't indicate which secret projects the 3 were. So even though there were 3 Otakon announcements and 3 secret projects, we don't know all the announcements were secret projects. Maybe none of them were and Anime NYC will be full of announcements! (Probably not. Their announcements page has 12 already and they release 1 game a month.)
They just updated it, all secret project placeholders have been filled:
-
Oh Btw, MangaGamer finally announced the release dates of their next titles:
And even though they announced them, they still can't take pre-orders for them due to the payment processor issue.

OMG, I didn't think that someone would pick up this game, I have been interested in playing this game since years ago when I played trough Subarashiki Hibi (official english translation) and Sakura no Uta (unofficial spanish translation) and saw that this game was made by the same scenario writer (SCA-DI) and have been wanting to play H2O alot, but no way to do that since I can not read Japanese, thanks a ton for picking this game!
