  1. Currently following Noragami Aragoto, Asterisk War, Anti Magic 35th platoon (among some)
  2. Hello aswell and welcome, i'm new myself but enjoying my time here quite a lot, hope the same for you
  3. As the title says it, that's basically it..i'm looking for great vn's to read but there are so many that sometimes it's tough to find good ones (though that is subjective to opinions) I was looking for something light and fun, kinda like the Majikoi series but with a bit less H in it, maybe with a Moe MC a Neko or something along those lines, i like all genres really and the ones i haven't read yet i'm also willing to try them. So which are your favorites that you could recommend to me (translated ones Please, i'm learning japanese but i'm not nearly good enough to read them like that) Thanks in advance, i really appreciate it Ps: I'll name some of the ones i've already read ( ones i remember) so you have a guideline .....Majikoi Series, Shuffle!, Cartagra, Kara no Shojo ep 1 & 2. Koisuru Natsu, Eden, Koihime Musou, Otoboku, Princess Evangile, Katawa Shoujo, Ayakashibito, Fate/Stay Night, Tokyo School Life, Grisaia no Kajitsu,, G-Senjou no Maou, Harukoi Otome.... (there's more but can't recall them at the moment, though i'm still fairly new in the vn genre)
  4. Personally i do like this one and i'm currently reading it's follow up Tick, Tack then ill do Really?Really! as i understand it they're a series though with different focus right? here's the question though, why are there so many people who look down on Shuffle! or the series in general. It's no masterpiece i get that but it's not downright awful either as some people make others think. Opinions, thoughts?
  5. I agree, personally i really like Grisaia and am looking forward to Mekyuu and Rakuen which sekai project is working on : D
  6. Thank you for the recommendations : D i'll be sure to check them out, i do agree though Soma was amazing and hilarious
  7. I would honestly put off gate until the second season comes out. As it is now, it stands with incompleteness. For me, I would totally recommend Prisma Ilya. The entire damn thing is probably the best Fate anime. You asking this has ironically forced me to go back and look at the lists. Winter: I actually didn't finish a single damn one. WOW. I sorta dropped the ball on this one. I might have to go back and do a repeat and make some actual opinions. However, looking at the list I'll probably finish these series: Death Parade, Junkestu no Maria, Tokyou Ghoul Root A (uncensored BD release), Dog Days" Spring: Kekkai Sensen/Blood Blockade Battlefront: Holy shit did I walk in with low expectations because of the words blood meaning vampire. While the show itself isn't exactly stellar, I found compelling moments in it where I can distinctly remember feeling nostalgia about Cowboy Bebop. I have no fucking clue how it managed it, but this show was thoroughly enjoyable as a result, and I can't exactly say no to watching it. Punchline: God damn, this show was just pure ecchi humor with an overly serious plot line. Everything it did amounted to "yeah, we are taking this way too seriously, except when we aren't, so laugh, okay?" This was the show of this season that I actually looked forward too every week just so I could continue laughing at it's own built up meta absurdity. UBW 2014 2: If you watched the first season, you probably already watched the second. It's UFOTable, and while not their best work, it still was unlimited in budget. Summer: Prisma Ilya Zwei Herz: My fucking anime of the year. All biases are in, and this one was thoroughly enjoyable through and through. As a Fate fanboy, the love letter parody turned serious, this show hits every damn nerdgasm I have about the franchise and makes me giggle in giddyment. If you like the Fate/Nasuverse at all, you are pretty much missing out on maybe the best single piece of fanfiction/spinoff ever created by not watching this. FUCKING WATCH IT. Gate: I've already said to wait on watching for the second season. It's going to be airing in less than a month probably. But if you honestly can't resist, the show is simply fun. I can't really say more. It's just fun. Oh right, they somewhat ruined it depending on who you ask because of the character design making everyone look ~5 years younger than they should, but most of the essence of the series is still there. Would more recommend reading either the manga or the books though. Rokka no Yuusha: This one was interesting to say the least. I felt it was too dragged out for what it was; 12 episodes for one single volume of light novel. If you can get past what was probably glacial pacing when compared to the rest of the light novel adaptations in the industry, you find yourself amused by the constant mind games this series attempts to set up. Fall: The only two shows I'm currently watching at the moment: Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry/Chivalry of a Failed Knight: This show is probably the best romance you will find in the popular shounen action cum romance subplot genre aside from Highschool DxD (novels). The entire show makes realistic use of buildup and trope payoff combined with excellent animation to give an entirely enjoyable experience throughout. If you enjoy the genre at all, I would 111% recommend watching it, because it will probably make you realize how different something can be when written with at least some effort. This is setting aside the most recent episode 11, which makes me question the future of the narrative. Heavy Object: It's by the same author and studio who did Raildex. I find it enjoyable, and you probably will too if you enjoyed Raildex. Points of note are that I enjoy Raildex way too much. As evidenced by my avatar. Notes of mention: I intend to watch the following series when they are finished: One Punch Man, Ushio to Tora, K: Return of Kings, Concrete Revolutio Enjoy my trek through this year of anime. I'm sorry i made you check the list though i must say this are greatly explained haha, thanks for taking the time.. i loved Kekkai Sensen and I will watch Rokka No yuusha, probably will be starting that one tonight. I don't remember which series came out in winter, i'd need the full line up but that's impossible but i do know that i've watches a few series of each season this year though couldn't get to all the recommended ones and thus probably missed some really great ones that i'll have to catch up with, that's also the case because i had to watch the new seasons of series i already was following since previous years. Thanks for the recommendations and i'll be sure to check them out (And yeah, i'll probably wait to watch GATE since you say to wait for the second season)
  8. Well i really don't know any of those other than Black Cat, so i voted for that one though ill make sure to check the other ones out myself too
  9. Yeah as I mentioned above, i'm surely gonna check that one, i keep getting great reviews and thoughts about it
  10. Oh you're right, that was my bad x.x, I did watch STWB and Dungeon, also Kuusen..however i haven't seen Chaos or Seraph and was about to start with Rokka no Yuusha since i've heard great things about it.. Among other series i've seen...there's the latest season of Noragami,Seikokou no dragonar,Shokugeki no souma, Charlotte, Monster Munsume iru no, im also up to date With the Grisaia Series which i've read the only translated Vn there is too although sekai project is working on translating Mekyuu and Rakuen aswell as far as i know, seen latest seasons of yahari ore, Nisekoi,Highschool DxD and To love Ru Darkness II among some of them but im sure i've seen more and can't recall of the top of my mind. I appreciate the great recommendations though i will check them out and will appreciate anyone who has more of them too : D
  11. This is basically a post asking you guys which you thought were the best series of 2015 and which you'd recommend to watch...im going through some of the latest ones such as The Asterisk War, The 35th Anti Magic Platoon and so on but im sure i missed on great ones ( besides one punch man and other obvious huge ones which are on my list already, these ones that im watching, i like them even if they're a bit cliche and known to be disliked by many because of several factors. So yeah that's about it, which were the best anime series of 2015 for you guys?
  12. Oh, you're gonna hate the manga then I've heard about it x.x just feels like such a goddamn tease sometimes....ugh...don't get me wrong when it's good, it's awesome and it has great potential to be so much more but sometimes it's aggravating xD
  13. I love Nisekoi but it's progression during part of the 2nd season pissed me off...i wish they'd progress more and more and not delay (thought i know it's not actual delay but part of the series) Btw Tsugumi is the best in my opinion, absolutely love her xD
  14. Skyspear dissolved (sorta disappeared) and some of the members joined this project in order to keep TLing Majikoi A. Oh...They did? i had no idea, i mean they didn't post anything or say anything about it. It sucks that they broke apart but at least someone is carrying on the translation projects they had which is awesome, i wish them the best of luck and appreciate the work they keep doing : D
  15. Well for one i really like the Majikoi Series even if like many pointed out the shift of Majikoi S to have even more random H was kind of a turn for the worse i still liked the game itself and for one am hyped for A-1 to be translated and someday 2 to 5 aswell if that's within the realm of possibility. Also wanted to take the time to thank the translators who take the time and work to do it for everyone who wants to enjoy the series they love. I had heard of a group called Skyspear translation who also worked on Majikoi S was doing progress on A-1 aswell and i don't know if here we're talking about them or fan groups doing so, on their page they have updates on the progress thus far aswell if anyone wants to check it out i'll leave the link here too ( not meaning to offend anyone) just sharing what i knew of before seeing this post. https://skyspeartranslations.wordpress.com/progress/majikoi-a-1-progress/
  16. Oh that's for sure, i wasn't trying to pressure or rush anyone but merely asking around since i hadn't heard anything else ..i'm sorry if it came out as anything other than that. does not compute I don't think the A-series has any less. Lol, you're right about that one, don't know what i was thinking xD
  17. Oh i'll be sure to check it out, thank you for the tip and feed back also glad to see someone hyped like myself : D
  18. So i heard a while back that a small translation team was working on them, so far this is the progress on A-1 and no news as of the other four thus far but i hope they'll do them all. https://skyspeartranslations.wordpress.com/progress/majikoi-a-1-progress/ I don't know if anyone else is as hyped as i am about this but i had to share it even if it's still out there somewhere, despite Majikoi S having a bit too much H i still love the series Thoughts on the series or project?
  19. Recently finished Majikoi S aswell and Koisuru Natsu, currently playing through Ayakashibito and Fate/Stay Night, going slowly though what about the rest of you?
  20. Thanks to everyone for the great welcome : D Okaaaaaay won't try to deny it haha xD but we're the fun pervs (?)
  21. Thank you i sure will, seems like a really friendly and calm place
  22. Basically just chose to make this quick introduction to tell a bit about myself, i've been coming to this page often though only just recently decided to register and start posting but it was always useful to come here for recomendations or information about a particular game or route even for just fun. I've been a fan of Vn's for about three years now and granted that my knowledge can be limited and scarce but as time goes by i pick up on new and awesome ones and thought maybe i'd try recommending as many do here in case someone hadn't played or heard some of the ones i have, i have basic likes such as cooking, music, anime and some gaming, i hope i can get along with you all here and help new people as i learn aswell : D Ps: ( in know it came out super dumb and corny but oh well XD)
  23. MMM what about things like koihime musou or Otoboku? fairly light and fun
  24. Majikoi, Majikoi S, Koihime Musou, Otoboku, Eldeweiss are the things i could think off to wash off those you played and be ready for cartagra or kara no shoujo 1 and 2
  25. Cartagra and Kara no Shoujo ep 2, both by Innocent grey
