Overall the animanga section is pretty calm, I don't think there's any issue to worry about here. Some spam here and there but few off-topic.
This section rarely has the kind of heated debates we can see in VN talk or the controversial threads in GD, and it's browsed quite extensively by two mods who are part of those who have nothing better to do than refreshing the forum every 5 minutes (me and Nosebleed) so it's well monitored anyway.
I agree, out of all forums Anime&Manga talk is the most calm, I mean all there is to discuss is anime and manga so there's not much that can go on anyway.
I think it's fine the way it is currently.
I prefer reading this Anime & Manga talk forum than any other anime/manga based forum like MAL or Crunchyroll. At least here there's actual decent discussion going on.
I'll think about this world domination nonsense since I'm platinum bored.
First, how is world domination possible?
The first answer: charisma and intelligence. Cunning and charm are more powerful than cannons. To be able to rule the world, you need to be a capable ruler who everyone would gladly support. Second: support from the masses. If you're rather charismatic, then the masses would easily understand and support you. Once you have the people under your control, they will gladly obey your words. You need not tell the truth, as repetitive lies can make people believe in them. This is how politics and religion work. Third, a powerful economy: you cannot rage war or form alliances if your country is in the pits. Turn your nation into an efficient and productive country capable of raging war against the largest nations in the world. Without these three, there's no way you can even conquer France.
It's time to wage war. You don't want to fight everyone at once. Germany tried that, and failed twice. In fact, you need allies. Ally yourself with nations that can help you, either as support or cannon fodder. Conquer each nation one by one, and attempt to vassalise them. It's less riskier that way. If you can, integrate them as a state of your empire. Appoint your relatives as rulers of nations. Make sure the people are under your control. Once you have control of several nations, it's time to sue peace for a while. Repeat this until you've taken hold of the continent.
If you've conquered an entire continent, then fear rules in the hearts of other nations. You won't be fighting for a while, so maximise stability. Lots of nations would be in a coalition against you. Prepare your people both psychologically and physically through propaganda and conscription. Make sure your subjects are happy, or your nation will collapse faster than the Macedonians. Once you have full control of the world, it's time to return to stabilising the country again.
Second, keeping your nation stable.
The easiest way to keep things stable is to release nations as vassals. Don't release too many, or you'll just turn your nation into the Holy Roman Empire. Use force, if needed, though try to obtain peace and stability through peaceful means. Give some states autonomy. Give them dominion status. Treat them as part of your homeland. Accept their cultures. Stuff like that. It's going to be hard to keep this going forever, so better do what you want quickly.
Third, what should you take from your nation?
This is the part where you do what you want. If I were you, I would take 20% of the nation's wealth, and use it to buy myself an island where I can spend the rest of my life watching anime and playing games. Buy yourself some security to prevent any assassination attempts (though the security themselves might kill you).
Another thing you can do is to suddenly disappear with 40% of the nation's wealth. Take a disguise of sorts and live the rest of your life in the shadows. Try not to get too famous, and you can live your life without dealing with politics.
There's not much to do after dominating the world.
I've noticed nobody's mentioned Uncharted yet... The entire game x 3 is my favorite moment.
Can't decide, but what I remember most was the helicopter chase + falling building scene in Uncharted 2 and the burning mansion scene in Uncharted 3. hehe, I used 'scene' because Uncharted is a bloody movie as well and don't you deny it.
