Hello. I've finished watching the 13 episodes of the anime Hataraku Mao-sama (Wikipedia), and I kinda want to know what happens next. Hopefully there are people here who read the manga becuase it would be awesome if you could help me out with some questions I have: 1. If I want to continue from the where the anime dropped off, what volume/chapter should I pick up to read? 2. Is there any website you will recommended for reading the manga in a translated form? 3. What is the difference between the manga and the anime? content-wise, if I do pick the manga where the anime dropped off, will I miss a lot of content the manga covered and the anime didn't? Thanks!

Hi! I had a chat with a friend, and now I really want for her to get into the whole VN genre. I'm VN loner here in the physical world T.T Anyways, are there any females here? If so, what was your first VN? as a female, do you prefer female protagonists in your VNs? I was thinking of recommending her Steins;Gate because its pretty awesome, very easy to get into and read because there are no bad ends and the choice system is implemented very well, and of course no H-scene. any thoughts? What are the most unforgettable moments you had in a VN you read? I'm not talking about the most 'favorite' moments, though these are applicable too I guess... I'm talking about moments that punched you so hard hard that you know you'll probably never forget them, moments that stayed with you for days. they can be scary, sad, happy, or exciting (or all of the above) For me, I have 2 of these: My first VN, Katawa Shoujo (also the moment I fell in love with VNs): And Grisaia no Kajitsu, which was more a "wtf?!?!" moment:

There might be bad consequences for VNs popularity in the west, but there could be a ton of lots of advantages. Think about it: First, if not for Katawa Shoujo I would never even have known of this amazing genre of games. I'm 100% sure there are people out there don't know they'll enjoy this form of entertainment. Secondly, more popularity means more demand, and more demand means no need to wait years for translations! And finally, there will be more people making them, I like the japanese style very much but I believe in the west too, if it will gain momentum I think the amount of VNs released will be higher and their diversity will increase which will lead to more amazing and interesting ones appearing.

Can you give me an example of VN that has that please?

I just finished reading steins;gate and in the middle of watching the anime so I can say this: - the anime has some strengths but it cant beat the VN ( this is true for every VN vs Anime debate for me.) - I generally agree that H scenes are mostly unnesseary but there were a few I enjoyed reading - In some cases like clannad or little busters not reading the VN would be a huge mistake for someone who loved the anime (in my opinion), but in steins;gate case it doesnt feel like it.. Mainly because the "what ifs" are so short its almost painful

Hello! I "discovered" anime from VNs, and apparently really like them. I'm looking for a new anime to watch, which is Nakige (The VN terms holds here too right?), Like Clannad, Little Busters - which both have anime adaptation.. etc. I don't care if it's an adaption my only wish is for the series to be complete - and be a Nakige - or at least have more than 2-3 seasons. Anime that I watched: Clannad - Liked A lot, Little Busters - Liked, The World God Only Knows - was O.K, ummm thats it >.< Thanks! Nakige explanation just in case:

Can you give me an example of a dating sim? not online something serious

Heres why I'm posting this question, I was watching "The World God Only Knows", the protagonist plays lots of 'dating sims' ( for more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_God_Only_Knows ). At start I thought I was a completely different games than VNs, but the way it portrayed in the anime and manga reminded me of VNs so I look it up.. But weirdly enough, I couldn't find a single game. No 'dating sims' games (except some pretty weird online games). After looking around I found an article pointing out some "weird" 'dating sims', although I didn't recognize most of them, "Katawa Shoujo" and "My Girlfriend is the president" were listed with them. Never thought of them as such, but are VNs considered as dating sims? <(._.")> I love VNs because of the characters and their stories, not the "conquest".. Also, They were constantly talking about parameters or what not, which I never saw in the few VNs that I read.

I was kinda expecting that.. I guess I'll watch it after the VN for some closure if I have time thanks!

I was half expecting a Kyousuke route in Little Busters! can't deny the sexual tension between them.

The thing is: after reading Rin1 I tried to watch the Litter Busters anime season 1 which was nice, I like anime apparently ><.. But the way they butchered Komari's Route left me more than worried so I stopped at episode 6. Anywho, from my understanding the refrain season (2) of little Busters anime was good. but my question is, should I read it first? or watch the anime? I heard Refrain is pretty short, so it won't be that "cut" in 13 episodes will it? In my opinion the Clannad After anime had much more emotional impact than the VN (maybe because I watched it first thou) I read the VN but the question is, for the Refrain part Anime or VN? Thanks!
