  1. Good, good. I felt like some parts of that route were ridiculous, yes, like , and I kinda felt like Kaoru became boring? For a few reasons I can't remember cause I read this months ago... Also less Shuugen than I'd like. D: It was so great for action, though... I liked the fact that it was action-heavy and didn't get weighed down by a whole bunch of slice-of-life stuff like I felt the other routes did...
  2. I really dislike Kaoru, so it's not too surprising. Thanks for the Hounan route summary, but whaaat?! You didn't enjoy the Katou Koutarou route (note: for those still reading, yes this is a joke)?! How can you hate
  3. I buy officially translated English VNs if they interest me. So far that's been Da Capo II for moe day and Hakouki because it was an otome game officially in English. I already have money taken out of my budget for No Thank You! and the next one that requires me to pay between Grisaia, Oz Mafia and Gakthun.... Hopefully the other two wait until I get my next job...
  4. I enjoy both JVN and OELVN. OELVNs I've read tend to be shorter, which is great because my attention span is that of a gnat, I swear. There are also some fun ones that can take advantage of the fact that they're written in English first and foremost and that I can't read Japanese (would I have had as much fun with Pizz'Amore if it had been in a different language and then translated back...? Probably not). There are also a lot more OELVNs aimed at a female audience than there are translated JVNs. The translated JVNs I've read tend to have the build up and the large, epic stories, though, and the fandom to share the hype with, which is actually important to me. (Admittedly, this might say more about what I choose as a reader: if I can be guaranteed an alright time with a shorter length, then I'd go for that, in the case where both options don't bring money into it)
  5. Amazing Shuugen things happen. Well, that's a little bit of an obvious fact, considering Shuugen is always great, but it must be said. I'll wait until you finished Touko's route for maximum fangirling (and I might go back and read her other two endings maybe...). But that scene from Tonya's route was definitely the cutest Shuugen scene. Well, that and dat blush (my affection for Shuugen actually started from teasing him and joking about how much he needed a route and then it somehow became real oops)
  6. The closest thing I can think of is in DMMD during Clear's route you need to wait for the options to time out, basically. Both first ones lead to the same bad ending, because it's the penultimate choice. Also the timed out choices I think is true for a few games? In Princess Nightmare you're supposed to time out some choices, but I don't think it's the difference between a good and bad end...
  7. Not unless you like BL. The game is sex-scene heavy, I heard (the trial is the first day of the game + an h-scene for each guy). There are even options if you want the MC to cum in the guy's mouths or outside and inside or outside, as well as the amount of hair each guy has... Yeah... It's just a demo, though, so 1. none of those choices really apply and 2. you could probably just try the demo first day part + one of the sex scenes and see how you feel. I loved that scene :') One of the best Shuugen scenes... he's just 2 cute...
  8. I'm actually alright with Skypiea. Without Marineford hype, I'd probably just be alright with Fishman Island, I guess. I was saying that it has similar qualities of looking like a normal arc while dropping some p. cool hints. Hnng I wanna catch up now... I have to admit is enough to convince me that the arc's awesome and important in some way. The Gladiator battles were really long-feeling, though. Haven't really come across a One Piece arc that didn't feel long in some parts...? Other than Marineford. Because Impel Down took those parts on. Yeah, that was part of what you quoted, don't worry. I haven't totally lost faith in Oda or anything lol Looking it up on the One Piece wiki (I know...), it sounds like it's Summit War. And Viz's translated name is Paramount War. Which is kinda the same thing... How did people get War of the Best...?
  9. I played the trial for No Thank You! It's pretty good and pretty funny. The main character comments on a bara's 'tiddies', he calls them all adorable minus one, is an airhead to the point of not bothering to remember anyone's names and seems to think everything's interesting. I liked him, actually. Made the h-scenes funny, too. The guys are p. moe. I suggest trying it out if you're a fan of BL games. I was gonna buy it anyway, so the demo really just got me impatient, but I couldn't resist...
  10. That time I did warn you. It was a general statement. Sorry, though.
  11. Suddenly jumping into discussion only when it's ended. That ending...
  12. Oh, you chose a game I read a lot of. I can join, then. I really liked the beginning of Ayakashibito, through Kaoru's eyes. I always thought it was a neat touch. Gave a pretty... off? perception of the protagonist, though, but I appreciate seeing through the eyes of a pursuer hot on the trail instead of the pursued. Especially a career woman...! Ichinotani Shuugen is and always will be the best character in my eyes. He had me at first blush...! (... Shuugen is my oasis. Long live good guys in porn games! ...On the other hand, my least favourite character was also a guy... heh.) They also do a pretty good job of showing just what Jinyou go through and developing reasons why humans would possibly discriminate. I was really, really into the prologue, as you watched Shouichi yearn for a better life and slowly build his way to maybe attempting to be normal if he can get away with it. The rest... isn't about the beginning but the rest of the novel. Official apologies, will edit out if needed:
  13. Debating reading Assassination Classroom again. Got reminded of Koro-sensei's great faces and Nagisa. Too great. The manga in general is actually pretty charming. Also, Birdmen. It's actually updating, and I loved Kekkaishi to pieces, so gonna go back to read Birdmen from the beginning... (And a whole bunch of BL but that doesn't take a substantial amount of time to read through and isn't really any specific title)
  14. One Piece is great! My brother got me into it, and I can't say I regret reading it one bit! I stopped a few months back, though. Jumped forward after I heard (spoilers for Dressrosa)
  15. I watched the typical North American '90s kid kids anime. The first I watched knowing it was anime was re-watching Cardcaptor Sakura, I guess. And then Tsubasa....? Maybe. The first years are split between watching on tv and the internet and I have no idea which came first! On tv it was stuff like Inuyasha and Naruto...
