I started to really get into VNs when my depression was at its worst. But even dark stories usually make me feel better as they at least evoke an emotional response.

The reason I read VNs is a different one though. I like reading, but need auditory stimuli to really concentrate, so VNs are the perfect compromise between them.

Ya I agree about the emotional response. I was numb for such a long time so to finally experience emotions was really nice. Eden* was amazing and actually got me to cry a few times. I have been going through a really tough withdrawal from drugs and VNs saved me. I felt like I had the flu for almost 2 weeks. I will always love VNs because of this.

  2. I may be alone in this but I find myself constantly putting off VNs that I know are amazing for the sole reason that when I finish a series the feeling of sadness that it's gone is terrible? Here is a good example of what I mean: I read Cartagra a while back and I loved practically everything about it! It was so suspenseful. It was the first VN where I was actually scared for the characters in it. I never knew what was going to happen. I know that KnS and the second one are going to be even better. No other VN series can capture the magic that this series has. This is the problem though. I like to save the best for last but my "last" feels like never going to read. I know when I start reading them its going to be a binge read and once there are no more I'm going to feel like shit since you only can only have one first experience.

Some other VNs that I do this too are the Grisaia series (I started the first a little and liked it but eventually put it on hold and havn't returned since).

It also doesn't help that now my VN reading time is consumed entirely by untranslated VNs since I want to keep increasing my reading ability. I should probably add a little time during the day to read a good VN that I will understand better when translated so I don't miss anything being said.

Maybe I'm alone on this and its just me being weird  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Didn't try it yet :) But it should work - in general, I used that method earlier and it worked. Now for output I prefer Chiitrans over browser with Rikaichan, but it still should work as principle is the same - Chiitrans too captures text from clipboard. So I will be just replacing Textractor with ITHVNR.

Ok great to hear! I wanted to make sure you got it working correctly so you can enjoy that nice little story with the best heroine from Yukizakura

What do you value most? They're all quite different in terms of their primary material. Is it romance? The MC? Other story line? Comedy? Drama? Fantasy? Battles? They all cover a range of things, but all have strong romance focus.

Fulfilling romance is the essential one. Yes they cover a range of things thus why I said any combo. Lets go with one with drama and another with fantasy (could also have drama). What would you recommend for these genres?

These all fit your criteria and are select watches too, above average :)

Say I Love You AKA Sukitte Ii Na Yo

My Love Story AKA Ore Monogatari

    Lovely * Complex

Chivalry of a Failed Knight AKA Rakudai Kishi no Eiyuutan

    Boarding School Juliet

    Golden Time

His and Her Circumstances AKA Karekano

    ItaKiss

Snow White with the Red Hair

Which of these would you recommend the most?

  6. Anyone have any recommendations for a romance anime that has some sort of combo of drama, SoL, or drama fantasy where the MC isn't a wimp and the romance is actually fulfilling (actually confess to each other and become a couple)? There are way too many Harem or just plain teases when it comes to romance so this would be a nice change.

It could also be a movie idc as long as it fits those themes.

    Thanks for any recommendations!

  7. If a heroine has a really interesting story and they are executing it right then I want that route to go for as long as possible.

In general I like heroine routes to be long. I like getting more character development as well as spending time with this character that you most likely will never see again (Unless there are sequels or fandiscs).

    Oh that was low hahaha!

Yeah I'm following a walkthrough and you it says you can have sex with her but I want to wife her up lol

I don't know what happens to Yura or anything yet but I kinda figured she went nuts if she actually is with that cult lol

Ya for Toji it's just cheer up sex. They give us a taste then throw the rest of it out.

Madam Ujaku? Haha yeah I like her too. I also wanted a Rin route but there's obviously reasons why there isn't one lol

Edit: Where the fuck is my Toji route though lol

Dude you know whats up. An actual Rin route would be great but I don't think she has the guts to have a full route. hehe.

Toji . . . She was so awesome. She obviously has a crush on the MC. Why wouldn't she have a route. I know she has the one route in the normal ending but i mean its just a tease. I am thinking of reading the fandisc sense my japanese has progressed a decent bit. I hear there is a good ending for Yura which I have always wanted. I felt bad for her and I must admit that I do like em crazy.
