WorldofAI got a reaction from Novel21 in IMHHW(Nintendo Switch)
The majority of Ninty fans won’t care and won’t notice what’s been left out. Plus, I’m sure MoeNovel can find lots of 12-year old “French Girls” in the Nintendo world, their intended audience.

Yep... and the title announced at Anime Central turns out to be... ImoPara 3 from Moonstone Cherry. This one was Secret Project #2 and it's already made its way to beta testing.
I'm sure many people will be upset for this choice hoping for another Kure/Yamakaze Ran title such as Natsu no Iro no Nostalgia and/or Sakura Mori + no Dreamers.
Based on Mangagamer's licensing patterns, I'm sure they will pick up another mainstream Moonstone title down the road.

You can try to make Cocoro Function more family friendly, but the story won’t have the same feeling as the original. I’m currently running a LP of that game.

WorldofAI got a reaction from Dreamysyu in Do you read VNs on the go or at home?
From time-to-time, I enjoy rewatching parts of the game. Plus, it doesn't require as much concentration as it would if I was playing it fresh.
Outside of the home, you should always be alert for other things around you... especially when you're using an office computer to watch VNs.

WorldofAI got a reaction from Templarseeker in Thoughts on Denuvo / DRM in Visual Novels?
For me, no matter how compact or lightweight the DRM is, I can always notice it. The starting up of the game is already a big giveaway given that a DRM-protected game needs to go through additional steps to connect, authenticate, and decrypt all necessary files to be able to run. For DRMs that require you to be online in order to continuously authenticate, you will notice that the constant authentication will eat up network bandwidth along with CPU power and memory... wasting resources that could be better used on the game itself. It doesn't have a noticeable effect with slow 2D or 2.5D games like most VNs, but it will for games that demand intense graphical and computation power.

It's not like you can pick up a book and learn Japanese in half an hour. By the time you get to the degree where you can actually UNDERSTAND the VN you want to play/read/watch, well...it's going to be years, I think. Unless you devote all your time to learning, which seems a little odd just to read 1 VN.

As long as the story is moving along, then I don't see it being too much reading. I often find some VNs too short though cutting out development and going straight to the result.

    Hi Everyone,
I really can't explain when I started playing VNs (Galaxy Angel is considered a VN according to VNDB), but my first true VN was in 2010.  I've been on and off with VNs ever since and haven't been deeply into until recently as of 2017. I moved to VNs from light novels after being disappointed with how authors choose to end their story (Happened multiple times).
I am not sure how I found this website, but I guess it's the result of browsing too much online. I usually like looking for more information and resources on the VN titles that I have started playing since 2017 and it's always impossible to find. I play a mix of localized and in-localized titles and you can find some of my current lineup on my YouTube channel.
I would like to increase my intake of VNs, but I'm busy as a student in the teaching credential program. I also need to increase my rate of MIDI production as well.
But anyways, nice to meet you.
