What do you think about artstyles?
seventhfonist425 replied to Wintersami's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I honestly liked how Rewrite looked. I was fine with Clannad, and Little Busters wasn't a problem. Anyways, yeah, I'll admit art is important for me. Of course, my standards for bad are high, of course if it's something like, say, "Higurashi," unfortunately, that's too much. (I hear there's some sort of patch that fixes the art or something, but I dunno.) Usually, the first thing I look for in a VN is the art (which, I KNOW is bad, but I can't help it!) For example, when I first saw this, my mind burst. I got that VN asap, and I now have plans to read it. -
I did not know this, can I be enlightened about this? I use Daemon Tools because I had no idea anything else existed. Also uhh, is it fine to keep using Demon Tools if I already have it (and have had it for a good amount of time now)? Or should I delete it and get something else? I have both a Windows 7 and 8, so I'd need something for the Windows 7.

My first post. Way back in November. Though, not really sure what to really add, since most of what I said was just to tell about myself. Outside influences made me make an account. Oh god, I just noticed my typo. Hasn't been all that long since I started.

Little Busters Ecstasy Giveaway + Treasure Hunt!

Crap- Wait. That means your cutting off is over, as in, you're taking people in now. Yeah. That's totally what that is. Really though, it's too late, isn't it? It is, isn't it? Can I be a super special exception? I'll be good, I promise. Of course, if you wanna stick to cut-offs and stuff like that, it's cool. These things happen. -
Having friends that also plays Visual Novel
seventhfonist425 replied to Kasugano's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Yep, trying that as well. And uhh, I've tried introducing it to friends, but one of them says it's kinda boring, and another says he's too busy. I dunno, at this point, I've kinda given up getting my friends into it. I kinda figure it's fine though. I'm enjoying them myself, and it's not like people who are into them as me or you don't exist, so it doesn't feel totally bad. Fuwanovel's a good place for that.- 29 replies

The new, current set date of the stream has become, what we all have come to know as Sunday, which is the following, coming Sunday of this current week at the time of which this post has been posted. Does this mean that the long awaited drawing will come Sunday? http://www.hitbox.tv/OriginalRenFuwanovel -
In the foreign land of Fuwa, there were four avatar groups. They all lived in... peace? The LB! group, represented by blue were the first to come into light. They went from place to place spreading their ways but eventually they split apart. Not making as much contact as they used to. Separated. The next was the Baccano group. Represented by the white. They were an interesting bunch. However as time passed, every single avatar being used disappeared and the group wasn't seen again. The only memento are the lands that they once owned. The third was the Mekakushi Dan group shown by the yellow and green. At the present, the largest and most well known of the groups. As such they were able to conquer most of the land through conquest alone. Their presence at large. The last is the Kazama Family Avatar group represented by the red. Arguably the oldest of groups but only recently acknowledged as one. Boasting the same numbers as the Mekakushi Dan group, they have a formidable force. However, they don't have a large presence in this world...yet. They keep in their homes just welcoming anyone who stumbles upon their sacred land. But that all changed when the fire nation attacked. the Kazama Family Avatar group attacked. It seems you've forgotten the most important part of the story. Don't worry, I added it for you.

There should be more fan translation.
seventhfonist425 replied to Steindrakgaterr's topic in Visual Novel Talk
Was about to mention that. Though, I'm not personally in a team or anything, I can say for certain that it's just harder to translate a VN over an anime. There's a lot less to do for an anime. You don't need a hacker, and you don't need to spend time debugging. There's also the fact that there's less content in an anime to translate. I don't know if this is a problem for more experienced translators, from my experience, it's much easier to translate conversations that are all voiced over things like the main character's thoughts in a visual novel. Though, mainly the fact that it's 90% conversation that probably makes translation easier. Probably the biggest examples of anime being easier to deal with are the fact that a single anime episode seems to capable of being translated in less than a day, while VNs, well, you know how long those take. I'm not saying anime translation is the easiest thing in the world or anything. Just, VN translation has loads more work in it in comparison.
