  1. Oh, thank you. And yeah, we actually noticed that as well. We have several of your "standard" lean types [ Severin, Cypher, Quint, etc. ] but then we have Alpha, who's more muscle-bound, and Reon our adorable little trap. And of course Beast, who's..well...a beast. Hahah.

  3. @Novel21 Huh, I haven't played it, though I have heard of it. I'm currently playing Togainu no Chi [ saw the anime when I was younger, didn't even realize it was an N+C game until last week! ]. The art style of Break Chance looks interesting, and the plot sounds pretty damned good, too. T____T we're debating on rethinking our core plot with the Company and everything since it's been done so much. But seeing as how it's kind of just the glue that holds each character's story together, it's proving a bit tricky. The main 'element' in our game I guess are the Voidwalkers and the Boundary breaking down. How does the time traveling thing work in BCM, out of curiosity?
  4. @Firemonk Oh that's awesome. What's your game called? And yeah, if we do it as an expansion, they'd pay extra. But it would mean we'd have to draw twice the number of CGs, make a whole new character model...the work would definitely be worth it though since it would expand our market two- or three-fold.
  5. @Firemonk Heh I think so. We've been considering giving the player an option to play as a male or a female, but that would mean twice the amount of work. Maybe as an expansion or something. My personal preferences aside, yaoi works have a pretty big community and following.
  6. @Novel21 Hahah my pleasure. Making it can sometimes be a huge headache, but I know it will be worth it in the end! And yeah, agreed. A lot of games are aimed at males, thus the reason for the Yuri games. And clearly, I'm more into yaoi myself too. ;D Regardless, I hope we can meet everyone's expectations! We're working hard but sadly it's going to be a looonnnggg road before the game's release. But that'll give us enough time to build a fanbase and get the funding we need, as well as find beta testers, voice actors, the whole nine yards. Have you played many English BL games? I've been playing them a lot for research purposes; seeing how they handle the routes, the UI, player choices, branches, etc. It's so different playing them for research rather than enjoyment lolololol.
  7. Hi there! I couldn't help but notice how excited some of you were, and I wanted to introduce myself! I'm Binary, one of the creators, and the writer / programmer for ZodiaX. To answer some things, as far as Steam goes, we will definitely be applying to get ZodiaX Greenlit by the community there. And as @SaevusVeritas said, Steam did indeed release an 18+ game recently, so there's hope! Also, I'm glad to see you both like our Virgo, Darian so much. -laughs- I personally think his route, as well as Cypher's [ Capricorn ] are going to become my personal favourites. We're hoping to release more sketches / character design concept art in the near future. Our other creator Nox is our amazing artist, but he can be a definitive stickler when it comes to his art. He refuses to let me post anything that doesn't meet his standards, so I'm going to try and nag him into letting me release one of the boys soon. We created a kind of 'saying hello' post in the Dev forums on here [ LINK ], but if you guys have seen our Tumblr there's no new information there, really. Anyway! Thank you guys so much for your support -- it truly means everything to us -- and we hope to make a game that's beyond exceptional, not only for us, but for our fans as well.   8. Thank you for your input! We're aware of how huge our game is going to be, and do indeed plan to put in the time and quality to make sure each route is the best it can be. I agree a bit about the plot, however we plan to use it as simply a basis for each of the routes to sit on. I appreciate your honest opinion; we'll definitely take it under consideration and see if we can't tweak some things for more originality!

One of our fans mentioned he posted on this site and told me about it and I'm super happy to see how much support FuwaNovel offers for OELVNs! I suppose I should tell you a bit about the game. ZodiaX is in extremely early development. Currently, the game is targeted towards Yaoi audiences, though when we finally begin a KS, we plan to add a funding goal that, if met, will allow us to use a female character as the main protagonist. Ah also! The banner above is just our first designs of our characters. Already they're all going through changes; just wanted to give you guys a bit of an idea as to our very rough sketches. You can find all of our currently released characters, as well as their bios on our TUMBLR CHARACTER PAGE. FEATURES:: • 12 Romantic Pairings to Choose From! • 3 Routes for each Character! Some Romantic, some Lust-filled, and some Violent. • Over 36 Different Endings! Good, Neutral, and Bad for each character. • High-Def Still CGs! • CG Gallery & Scene Replay! • Gorgeous Original Character Models, Backgrounds, and Soundtrack! • Expansive Decision Making. • Your Choices Determine Relationship Status, Dialogue, Consequences, and the Outcome of the Main Story! We also hope to have partial or full voice acting for the game, but that's something we plan to address when we're closer to release. PLOT:: Your choices will play an absolutely integral role in the story. This game is a huge undertaking, and as there are over 36 different endings, we want to make each route as different as possible, so there's little to no repetition. We want to keep the replay value high, and offer our players the most interaction possible between characters. There will be an in-game meter that will keep track of your relationship status with each character, whether negative or positive. Each choice you make will cause that meter to rise or fall, depending on said character's preferences and feelings towards Aster. ZodiaX will have many different branches, and each character's route will intertwine with one to three others, so that the player gets to see different sides and facets of each character depending on who they choose to pursue. Not only will players make romantic choices, but they'll also be making big decisions that affect the world around them. Do you save a little boy, and let Voidwalkers destroy and kill a family-run shop? Do you sacrifice one of your friends to keep the Barrier up and Elune safe? Do you side with the Company and figure the world needs a reset, or do you simply choose to wash your hands of your hometown and run away with your lover? With a myriad of different decisions, we want to keep our players as engaged as possible. TIMEFRAME:: We estimate that making enough content for a demo will take 4 - 6 months, which is when we'lll begin a CrowdFunding campaign, and the full game [ seeing as how huge it is ] should be in early Beta within 12 - 16 months. ZodiaX was created by Noxius and Binary. The idea was formed in mid 2015, and they officially began working on the project in August of this year. They both came up with the concept, characters, and story. All art, music, and other media belongs to their respective artists and ZodiaX. We will be needing people to help spread the word, as well as Beta testers to give us feedback.
