I've read it. I wouldn't reccommend you reading it. The characters are too human... And in japanese style alot of people die, you don't want to, It's very graphic and emotional. That is in Muv luv alternative, there is none of that gloom in Muv luv extra and unlimited. It'll likely wake up some stuff you'd rather stay in the past. I've never been to war, but I have lost a friend too early in life.. So I do understand some of your pain. Anyway! There is other good vn's to read, so go read them

Fair enough, truth be told. I become enraged if I dont have a guide, I am like DID I DO THE RIGHT CHOICE!!?? Stressed about that for the rest of the game lol. Well I wish didn't do that with fate/stay night. after your edit: Yeah I know.. I should play with guides less, I am going to do that when I start reading untranslated vn's I thought. Note: This was my first vn, got me hooked alright.

In Tay's defence. Most people dont bother reading the bad end, as it BAD... Well I evade them using *always* a guide. Slow computer so I dont bother skipping for hours if I get it wrong. Kinda ruins gameplay sometimes, but I never have a backlog so its okey imo.

There is a pretty good reason why it turned out like that. Kinda spoilerish but you can read this ryoji There is some elements that are kinda gritty, you've met his gangster father. So you know there is more to come lol, but I guess that bad ending you got is the worst ending you can get. I wouldn't stop reading it for that. Shouldn't be too hard to avoid the other bad endings. I would just note that 'good' vn's like these are roller coasters better be prepared!

It really was great, but at the start I was like wut. Servants are supposed to be very fast and stuff, but they are sloooow. Guess my imagination beats their budget lol! We got to know more about Kotomi Kirei too, which is nice as he is an interesting character. I really liked the scenes with Emiya fighting master vs master with he using his the ending

This. Didn't make alot of sense. But, aaeru is right that having too many sections splits people up. Not that it's going to happen anytime soon here, with so few sections as this forum have.

The NDS has lots of great games on it, I bought an NDS lite a few years ago its been a faithful companion with my firecard, which I can download lots of free games on mohaaha. I would reccomend doing the same, but i don't know about the 3DS how the 'hax' card works on that. If you have a WII I would hack that one too, lol. Argh, how I LOVED the first game. It was amazing, but noooo ubisoft had to bleed the series. They just love destroying good series, Splinter cell, ghost recon, assasins creed. Whyyyyy, I loved those games!!! Well, I guess it's okay in assassins creed's last game it seems amazing in terms of gameplay mechanics. But the story in the last games... Lets say it was written by a bunch of monkeys on typewriters, even if that phrase has been overused... Poor and greedy students like me don't buy stuff. We pirate it! And if I can't pirate it, we endure! Well about presents as usual I have no idea what to wish for... Maybe new clothes, that's always nice. Never been much of a material person, I am usually never have anything to complain about on that kind of stuff.. I have what I need. That's good, will be fun to try out OP line of thought's seemed to be more of mindless barter of vn we just completed, So it's slighty different. That's true, maybe we should add some rules to that section. Simply add (use spoiler tags!!!) in the title of the thread or (Caution! Spoiler free thread!) That way the thread starter can talk about the game as he/she wishes. I am guessing the latter choice will be the most used in this sub-section of the forum.

I've read it, it's centered around school... But, its not normal school stuff happening, I would go as far to say it's not a school setting, it just that it happens on a school. Awesome vn though, I gave it a 9 on VNDB. A must read. I don't think anything is wrong with the people in the vn, they are completely normal.. I found similarities with the protagonist, with myself, simlarly like in "a drug that makes you dream" protagonist which in it self is kinda disturbing.... lol.

There is alot other stuff too, so you should ctrl+A mark the files the torrent want to download and "dont download" select everything. Then just select the ones about japan and download the ones you want. Friggin 137 GB lol. Would take months otherwise.

Yup, that will save you from alot of frustration, the left side ctrl is universal for most if not all vn's as skip text. I do it alot in the H-Scenes. On the subject on sexism, there is very often the most natural thing in the world that the protagonist should protect the girls as they are helpless themself. That seems to be abit intigrated into the japanese society. The man is the dominant person, strict traditions are still eminent in japan. About this being wrong or not I would say wrong. But I am from the west, of course I would say that. It being right or not is another thing.. I saw a documentary about sexuality in japan some time ago, about how it is different from the west etc. Much more free, you guys should know what I mean. One thing in it puzzled me, there was a interview of a westerner who was a turist the for a few months. He could talk japanese and such. He experienced when he had sex with natives, that they would be submissve and say like stop, not there etc. But the meant the opposite, they wanted him to dominate them. I would take that docomentry with a grain of salt, but it did make sense imo.

Truth be told I didn't like the anime either. The vn is alot better. To make you avoid ruining the vn, I would put it off. Then read it at a later time. So I would just pick another VN for now, many to pick from~ Then try LB a 1-3weeks later. IMHO that's the best way, I wouldn't rush reading it if the anime image would ruin it! I would wipe my memory of it each time I finished it, if I could. That way I could reread it in its full glory forever. Well that was kinda exaggerating it but whatever...

Just completed Muv luv alt. 0_0 Completed the game in 10 days, I gotto say that's pretty damn impressive lol. I'll give the game 10/10 on vndb. Man this game is epic. Holy shit. So epic it takes all my free time, thats like... Friggin G senjou no maou my first Vn epic. I do not reccommend other to read it, it will take all your free time. STAY AWAY!!! I'm like in awe, of the awesomeness.... So epic... O_o man... dude... tripping out.... omhgbbq........ *_*

Have fun, this game is really good. I started a few weeks ago, I reached Muv unlimited. Will complete that soon, then start with MLA. Later the game becomes more action, drama, but still lots of comedy. Really this is one of the most epic VN's there is! Whaaaaat, the translator Ixrec said the side rutes were horrible and the unlimited rutes were all essentially the same. I don't see a reason to drag yourself through them when you don't need to. The two main rutes in MVE is sugary enough of moe for me, gonna get diabetes if I took the side rutes too.

Actually, that score makes sense. Cus the game is like: sdfnsodfnsådnsdrfhklmtheoff 0_0 O_O, acid trip maaan!

Looking forward to the new james bond film. Maybe the hobbit too.

Completed Dishonored. Damn this game was friggin awesome, I played it on very hard. Knocking out people as needed and sneaking past most of them. The game is pretty easy though, you can complete it as you like rambo, non lethal, etc. Best ending is by not killing too many, just kill the major targets and so on. Pretty happy how my choices made the ending. There is sooo many ways you can complete the game, they really put much though into it. I'm going to complete the game without any powerups and on very hard in a few months time, as then I have likely forgot how much of the game was. I'll only use autosaves too. I reccommend the game, its was epic, I score it 94/100 imo.

I don't know much about US, but in my country most people who use mac's dont play games. They are more like, mac is easy and is friggin hipster. I have kinda a bis agianst it, haaa. Also people who choose mac's are more mainstream, wouldn't they be even less likely to be intrested in vn's? Well that's just my opinion. (I need to stop posting so late.. Not thinking straight.)

Currently playing Muv luv, it is friggin moe moe, lol. It's so unserious I don't need to even follow what they say much, just randomly laugh at funny moments which are plenty off imo.
