Completed Rewrite 100% Got all the friends, quests and endings..... IT WAS AWESOME. My god this VN rocks, Muv luv alt tier dammit. Only thing I disliked a bit was the few inconsisences between the different charachter rutes. But that was rather minor and not so important. The general difference between them actually made it more apparent the different paths you could make and that made it very good. story 9/10 Music 10/10 (it was great, you can download the ost at erogegames.com) Art 10/10 (not only HD but great drawn as well. I hope there will be more games with this art level.) Comedy 10/10 (Key has great humor to say the least lol XD) Overall 10/10 Amigo!!! Maybe I should make a 100 friends as well.....

Those of you who use anki will find probably find this to be useful. Sometimes you don't have access to your computer for a few days. Over the next months you will be using Anki very often. You should have a backup plan. I used my smartphone (android). I found this very useful as I sometimes went over the border for travel or when to my Cabin. You can use Adobe Reader app to read the RTK PDF book. It's a free app AnkiDroid, it's anki for Android. It's free as well. You should be able to do the same with Iphone. There should be similar apps for both.

Riki Ok, this is not about Riki looking like a trap. I just think that Riki was not given that much detail in the story. It was not stated where he got his narcolepsy. It might be genetic by it was not stated as well. There is limited information about him, despite being the main character. I don't even know how his parent died. I just think having more detail about him will be better. Kurugaya I don't know why you have to finish the game just to get here true end. People say it's because you have to remember her, which is why you have to go back to her route. Well, whatever. TL;DR Herp Derp.

Destructoid isn't a serious news site at all, they just want ratings and looked by the amount of comments it seem to have worked. Well there being actually deep and story driven vn's isin't well known. I doubt the poster at the site knows that. Or maybe he does and only trolls. Generally you have to search with the japanese name for untranslated VN's, which in your case of tomo is: るいは智を呼ぶ The torrent maker will properly add the creator name as well, for you I am guessing: [Works] (something..) Quick search on Nyaa: I am guessing that should be right, though I don't know for certain XD

The other version seemed more legit. Primarch systems lol... Sounds like a name coming from Uplink haha.

Great idea Clephas. I have tried looking around for a good thread about this but found none. :DLet's make it here then. 1) Flyable Heart- Lots of humor, moe, moe. It's pretty long though, so reading it will take quite some time if your slow. Though the language is pretty simple. (My first native read VN, so take it with a pinch of salt.) 2)Hoshizora no Memoria(It's translated) - Supposedly pretty simple language, though I haven't tired it. Alot of people liked the Translated version. IMO mostly our news here in Norway are tabloid. The state backed television NRK which has no newspaper is somewhat good, pointing out faults with the State and other intitutions quite often. That starts alot of debate etc. But still alot of boring news... I don't know much about Sweden or American newspapers but. The best news organistion I know of is The Economist, It gvies out it's news magazine once a week. After reading them for years one thing I am certain of and that is they know their stuff. They mostly only have interesting news, if I go through one of the newspapers here at home. I may find 1 interesting article and that may indeed just be a a shit article, putting the headline out of context to get more readers. Actually NRK made a news about gaming addiction and video games just recently. Showing footage of Call of Duty (6?) and the shooting of civillians in a airport. They on purpose showed video games in a way to portray negativness, added alot of fancy gray filters, etc. They also said (to my amusment) if you are playing for 3 hours or more each day, you maybe addicted to games :D/> My parents were sitting with me with worried faces, while I was trying to hold my laughter back. For me it's impossible to take such a ridiculous news showcase seriously. They were on purpose trying to invoke emotions. Sorry for all the ranting :D/>

Ahh, I wish Tay had been here 7 months ago and made this post at that time xD. That way I wouldn't need to follow aaeru's guide all alone >_> ( I am at the 4th stage for those who didn't know) Steve about your way of learning the kanji. Regardless learning kanji is a bitch, using a few months learning them or using a very long time to learn the kanji by: kanji + vocab + grammar + context together. I Found the latter too hard. So I chose the lesser evil It depends on preference, both works. But if we are talking about the most effective way, learning kanji early on is very practical. Tay if you are wondering on how long it takes to read Tae Kim's guide, for reference I used over a one month. I read about 1 hour a day, reading randomly not everyday. It's more like studying than reading, as it takes quite longer than a normal book to read. Though I wanted to understand the whole of the sentences as well as the grammer in each section, so I used some extra time. One thing you can do when reading the tae kim grammer guide, is addition using a anki deck with all the grammer examples so that you don't forget what you have learned. Very practical, although I know it's not very fun adding another big deck to review... I didn't have the willpower to do it while reading it, I'll probably restart it and study the whole deck so I know the grammar 100% Finally I would say. It's alot of fun learning japanese!! Good "luck" (presistence) to you all.

A app would be the most easy to use alternative, but as it may get removed some day or another and someones work would be wasted. So another way should be used. Best long term, etc I think is to download to the pc and from there transfer it to the phone. Maybe use some software to make it easier. I doesn't have to be anything advanced. Simply a program that copys the VN from the computer and find's the root on the phone (connected to the pc) makes a VN game folder there and puts the game files there. I am kinda half guessing here, as I haven't tried Vn's on my phone. But I am guessing it is only putting the game files on the phone and have VNDS installed or something similar installed... Then just open the game from there.

That is what I think is crazy as well, if the person who attacks you is intoxicated, drugged or deranged. If you are using a gun, he will not go down with a single shot, you would have kill him. Shooting him in the vital organs would normally incapasiate, but when drugged, he won't notice it, you would have to shoot him multiple times and then he would die. This mentallity reminds me of the middle ages in the middle east. If someone steals, chop of his hands. If he kills, hang him. Where I am from it's very likely if you kill someone in the name of self defence, you would get many years from either "use of excessive violence" or "accidental murder". Because if you can kill him, you can also drive him off or beat him till he blacks out.

The government is of course dangerous, but even less do I trust other people. That is why I do not wish for people to learn how to use guns. They are meant for one thing only and that is killing, some people in the name of “self defence” will say it's for protection. But they are not. The only reason you would need such a tool, is if anyone has a similar tool or a greater one (physically strong, many people, weapons, etc.) Regardless if you have access to guns, so do others. You won't become more safe, everyone is more likely to carry a gun. “But that okay, I got a gun!” You aren't really much more safe, people can still catch you rape you and kill you regardless. But if your lucky and the criminal messes up you get to kill him in the name of self defence. I don't think it's right to kill, About 60% of violent deaths are committed to firearms. America with it's high access have one of the highest number of deaths by firearms, It does say something doesn't it. A recent study by UN. The government WILL increase their firepower as well, if there is more access to guns. A sidearm will be part of the police uniform. Where I come from, Norway. Police do not walk around with guns, because there is no need. Without in mission where at this required. Most likely if they need to the criminal is using a Soft gun replica's. Yes soft guns, they are quite popular with criminals... We have a very restricted way of gaining handguns and its very costly and takes quite some time. We got very very few shootings as a result.. I don't wish people to be able to walk around with guns, they are dangerous enough already.

*Derp* Well the VN is top notch so I guess I'll be able to keep going. I could always alternate between Hoshizora no Memoria, which I was going to read next. Yeah, no doubt the natives read alot faster than me.. I'll hopefully improve over time, haha. Funny I understand much more of the voices than reading the text. I have watched too much anime and read too many translated VN's xD

You just had to say it XD Well hopefully I won't use that long. VNDB says it's 10 - 30 hours long. Though looking my current speed, its more like 300+ hours. (my god) So if I read 3 hours a day, I'll complete it in a 100 days, yaay. Too bad you had to drop it, it looked interessting. I want to read it in the future. My worst hope was that I couldn't understand anything at alll. But it's completely understandble. Well so far around 95% of the dialog is understand. But Sometimes I don't and then I look at atlas it helps often and but somestimes it is as little understandble as the vn lol One very funny thing about this vn is that there is a girl which talks like a robot (talks cryptic). Guess what! Atlas completely translates every line of her's completely right!
