Oh right, but I never finished Clannad because I lost interest when it started getting really sad. I like tragedies but mainly when its, what's the word, extraordinary? Like Elfen Lied (manga) or G-Senjou no Maou (not exactly a tragedy but twas pretty depressing, especially the bad ends).

I really like the art style since its creepy looking, but I'm not much a fan of cyclops (which so far is the only monster girl I'm put off by, along with giants). It sounds pretty sweet and heartwarming, then again that art style will always give me a foreboding feeling and at the end I'll see that it has a happy end ;-;

There aren't many anime adaptations of VN's that work out well, the only ones that I love are Steins;Gate and Utawarerumono, though I enjoyed Air when I watched it years ago. On the note about anime adaptations of VN's what's the general opinion of those who watched the Grisaia no Kajitsu anime and played the VN? I thought it was decent aside from trying to combine all the routes into one and completely changing the endings for some of them.

Cause humans like celebrating noteworthy events. You have the major holidays that're celebrated almost worldwide and some events that're only celebrated in the city you live in. Its a way to gather friends and family together to have a good time, its to remember sacrifices, its to celebrate praiseworthy events like your birth etc. I'm not a festive person and adamantly avoid any family reunion, and I try to avoid having a birthday celebration, with that said it'd be a bit sad if no one said happy bday to me.

Its the usual case of producing an anime while the manga is ongoing, I think it was decent enough but what really irked me is that in the anime her hair turns white only when she uses her power. Its a small thing but for some reason its so annoying ;-;

How bout Yuuki Yuuna wa Yuusha de Aru? The only thing is it might not make sense unless you watch the anime. There's lonely Yuri too, the only possible problem is its yuri

Haru is one of my favorite all time characters~ she's such a loner mainly because she's a weirdo and everything she does is funny and adorable x3

There's Air, but its pretty old. Lonely Yuri has a lonely protagonist and is, well, yuri~ Subarashiki Hibi has plenty of bullied characters but its kinda grim (from what I've read, I'm waiting for the english patch) and more yuri. G-Senjou no Maou has Haru, she's pretty lonely but not depressed over it, and there's Mizuha I'm looking for any content with good, anti social/lonely characters too

Does it have to be bullying specifically or is it alright if they're ignored or alone because of circumstances?

You could try Phenomeno, its mainly horror but there are plenty of psychological elements, there's the Grisaia series, Hanachirasu might be worth looking into, Saya no Uta if you can tolerate gore and some not nice stuff, the protagonist is really pessimistic there

I liked Tsubaki's and Mizuha's bad ending a lot 8D I liked the characters themselves and I don't get a thrill from watching them suffer but its just so refreshing seeing it happen, though I was freaked out by Makina's bad end and I felt like I'd get nightmares ;-;

I'm bronx819, I started reading VN's around... 3 years ago maybe? My first VN was Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai after someone kept posting pictures of it on FB. After starting it I played it whenever I was on my PC and didn't do much else. The only downside was that it wasn't finished at the time so I got into the habit of not finishing all the routes. Some that I have finished are G-Senjou no Maou, Saya no Uta, Steins;Gate, Grisaia no Kajitsu, and Kamidori. I like VN's because I prefer the original over the adaptation, since anime like Majikoi and Koihime Musou are terrible compared to the VN's. That said, it would be nice to see an anime adaptation of some of my favorite VN's like G-Senjou no Maou or Saya no Uta. My favorite kind of characters is hard to describe, typically they'd be stoic but not devoid of emotion, a good example would be Yukino Yukinoshita. Another of my favorites is those that would be classified as loners like Haru Usami, and those that show signs of insanity (no Yuno Gasai, I don't like most overrated series or characters). Also I'm a fan of bad endings, not the bad endings you get in VN's but more like a final, bad end, and nothing like romance or everyday life bad endings. My favorite endings are from Madoka Magica where and the ending of Saya no Uta where Granted both the endings could be seen as bad, ah well. Best regards everyone~

I have a bit of trauma regarding bad ends since I played through Makina's bad end and it caught me by surprise real bad ;-; it wasn't scary but the shock was so great I had to finish it the next day...

Kagome is pretty boring but to me she's a bit better than the more emotional characters. Well that's mainly cause I prefer either practical and stoic characters (like Yoruko without her comedic momentsor Haru Usami from G-Senjou no Maou) or those showing signs of insanity (like Kagome or Fujisawa Ayana from Fukushuu Kyoushitsu for any manga fans). I'm working through Hisoka's route atm so I don't know how Kagome's route goes but for the moment Kagome and Yoruko are my favorite characters.

I didn't like one of her routes but as a character she's just behind Wanko. I thought most people would prefer Momoyo or Miyako instead since Tsubame is kind of shady, like her quirky side is a front so that people would let their guard down around her and she could do whatever she wanted.

Wasn't she voted on some poll as the most popular female lead?
