I laughed more than I should have. Mine is the shovel wielding Shiho from Natsukumo Yururu. I spent a good 20 minutes arguing with myself over using Shiho or Himeka, both are so adorable. I found this VN to be surprisingly good for a VN with the 'All Loli Heroine' tag and for that I felt the need to shamelessly advertise it.

If it's a single player game then do what you want. If cheating somehow makes the game more enjoyable for you then knock yourself out. Multiplayer is a different story though, especially when it comes to competitive games. When it comes to online multiplayer I think devs should have a zero tolerance policy and perma ban on first offense.

Well looks like Persona 5 is a no buy for me. No Japanese audio.

Idolmaster Platinum Stars. The game series has really grown from a production value standpoint. The visuals are top notch and the cutscenes are fully animated using the 3D models. I played the translation patch for 1 of them on the psp way back in the day and enjoyed it. I actually went and created a post on the bandai namco forums asking for it to get localized. Doubt anything will come of it, but I can at least try. Shining Resonance. I'm a sucker for JRPGs and this is one of the JRPGs I was really hoping would get localized, but it didn't happen. Now that the ps3 era is over its just a dream within a dream.

Well, I mentioned in my first post "Doesn't matter to me in the end though, I don't play all age VNs." Regardless of the English voice being there or not I do not care. I'm sure there are people who will buy if for solely for her voice. I doubt it'll be enough to make back what they paid for her voices. I have no idea how much it cost to get her though so this is just an assumption on my part. I don't think the people who get his VN for her voice will go on to buy more VNs though. If you don't mind me asking can you give me a quote for the posts where I do the whole "this doesn't appeal to me so therefore I think it's a bad idea and they shouldn't do it." I'm fairly certain that the posts(or my posts prior to it) include my reasons for why I disagree and the ONLY time this statement holds true is when it comes to 18+ content. Even when it comes down to this matter I don't say they shouldn't make the all age VNs at all. Just when they translate an 18+ VN there should be an 18+ version in English as well. When you love something enough your opinions tend to be far stronger about certain things.

Settle down there buddy. I'm just throwing out my 2 cents on the matter. In no way am I trying to force them into listening to me. It's an opinion. We are all entitled to our own opinions, even if they are or are not factually correct. My post above states why I(myself) personally think this move won't work out the way they think it will.

It's not gonna pull in a new crowd. The same people will still be getting it. The gameplay doesn't have enough depth to pull in a new crowd. The non VN crowd who do get this VN will not be getting it because of English voice acting. They will be getting it because it's a VN with realtime 3D graphics. I'm not saying no one will be getting it specifically for the the English voice acting. Just that the number of people getting it for this reason will not be enough to make back the money they spent on adding it. I could be wrong though maybe the voice actress was dirt cheap. I personally believe this won't help the VN market grow(not the VN itself the English voice acting). EDIT: I should mention I'm more or less so against adding the English voices as I fear the day the VN market runs into my current issue with JRPGs. I do not buy JRPGs that fail to include the original Japanese voices. I have nothing but disdain towards English dubs in JRPGs and Japanese anime.

They are wasting money on a feature that 95% of the player base have no interest in. The number is made up, but you get the point. That money could be spent on something the user base actually wants. You know maybe another VN. The user base for VNs and anime are too different from each other to really compare. You are going from a niche crowd with anime and then going to a niche of that niche for the VN crowd. Doesn't matter to me in the end though, I don't play all age VNs.

I find that type of methodology to be a bit disappointing. Considering the sheer number of VNs out there available to translate I'd prefer them to be more strict about 18+ releases. Pretty much a "well if you don't want the extra money because of the 18+ content we'll go to these guys instead and translate their VNs. Your loss". They recently picked up Maitetsu and I fear I'll never get to read it, because they picked it up. I'd much rather hope for a fan translator or one of the other localization companies to pick it.

It'd be nice to see them up again. I finally figured out the other VN that was being worked on their. It was Your Diary. They had mentioned Your Diary + H getting released and potentially porting their current translations to that.

I used to stop by the site semi commonly to check on the status of Tenshin Ranman and 1 other VN don't remember what it was. They had said they would continue to work on Tenshin Ranman as they were translating Tenshin Ranman Lucky or Unlucky and Sukai was doing Tenshin Ranman Happy Go Lucky. Then one day the site had disappeared out of nowhere and I never found out why. I hope it is still being worked on out of sight, but that is most likely wishful thinking on my part.

In general I dislike them, but sometimes you just end up loving them. Taiga from Toradora is one of my favorites. I'm guessing the patch was never actually released else it would be lying around on the internet somewhere.

Someone should translated the 18+ parts of the VN so they can release the patch the same day as the all ages version. The catch will be that the patch is incompatible with the steam version I approve

I'm fairly certain even if those topics reached 1000+ supporters Sukai would still ignore them. But them getting 1000 members is just as unlikely

VNDB has Tenshin Ranman Happy-Go-Lucky listed which is the All-Ages psp version of the game. So I'd have to say it'll be the All Ages version. Who knows though maybe Sukai Project will have a change of heart, but I wouldn't get your hopes up.

I haven't played the Grisaia sequels so I have no idea how they work, but Libra of the Vampire Princess is listed to release in November of 2016 on VNDB.

Don't really think there is a right or wrong way to do it just answer honestly. I went story 5, length 10, artwork 10, audio 5, price 3, developer 1, publisher 1, genre 5, Add-on 1, availability 1, Bonus Content 1.

This was just one of the reasons he mentioned in his comment, but it's the main reason I didn't back it though. I know there are a fair amount of people of people who didn't back it for this reason.

Well, it got what it deserved IMO. Ludovico Morreale made a long comment on why this KS likely failed. He summed my whole issue with one of his bullet points. "-you want to release an all-ages version on Steam, your CUSTOMERS want the 18+ version (standalone or via patch)". Happy to know I'm not the only one with this issue.

Yeah that's the one. Couldn't remember its name. I knew I'd recognize the name if I saw or heard it though.

I think they need to deduct a million off that number I remember a long time ago before I become an erotic content only ahole I tried to read some psp otome vn. I lasted a few hours at least. Something with samurai and such. Honestly don't remember the name and don't care enough to try figure it out.
