Kosakyun
And you aren't traumatised? xD I cared more about the cards rather than the love going on back then.
Chewy
I cared more about the cards rather than the love going on back then. Same could be said with most of the card anime game adaptions.
Shoon-kami
My first anime was Naruto, though at that time I had no idea what anime was. Majikoi would be the first one that I knew was anime.
Nobuki
My first anime was Kiss x Sis but the one that started my love for animes was High School DxD.
Sparkker
Shugo Chara is what I'll technically consider the 1st anime I've watched.. Since I really didn't consider anything as anime before that even though they are..
Yuuko
The first anime that I ever watched was probably Digimon or Pokemon but few years ago Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai was the one that really got me into anime.
Thomas
First anime hmmmm think it was Ranma Nibun no Ichi and Love Hina
Kleif
I think my first anime was digimon adventure hahah, can't wait to see the sequel on April 2015
TehRealOne
First non-proper anime I watched(By this I mean like 10 minutes of it on TV whenever it was on, I made no serious attempt to actually watch the series) Pokemon or Yu Gi Oh. First serious anime I watched was Angel Beats followed by Clannad + Afterstory. Ever since I have fallen in like with Key and Jun Maeda + Itaru Hinoue as well as the other co-founder which nobody mentions.

Thunderbro
As a child my first anime's were Pokemon, Digimon, and Dragon Ball Z. As for when I actually started watching, it was Oreimo for whatever reason. Curiosity got the best of me I suppose.
Kosakyun
Oreimo, huh. Maybe because we were fooled that Kirino best girl. Then whoops lol.
Thunderbro
Kirino made me angry, she might be one of my least favorite characters in an anime.

Satsuki
Does Doraemon count? No? Ok then, my first one was Madoka~ It was a new hit at the time I started stepping in manga/anime world, so I guess I was just curious about it. And it was also the first one that made me cry (those boring Korean dramas do zero damage to me).
SoulJustIn
Yes, Doraemon also anime too. . . . . (PS: maybe i should edit my post "doraemon" too....... )
Fred the Barber
I guess technically it was Pokémon, though I only connected that with this "anime" thing many years later. My more intentional "first anime" was several years later, when a friend handed me his home-made VHS recordings of Cowboy Bebop, taken back when it was running on Cartoon Network. Still a great way to get started

Still a great way to get started Seems to me like Cowboy Bebop is something like a "cult classic". Although I still have to watch it myself. Fred the Barber
Among anime, Bebop is really more "classic" than "cult classic". They recently did a blu-ray re-release, and review sites were gushing about it, to the effect of: "Wow, this is actually as good as I remember it being." Pretty high praise for a TV show made in the last millennium.
