Maybe there is a surprise show lurking in this pile of second and third seasons. Or maybe it's all simply crap. Tamayura: More Aggressive Air Date: 6/30/2013 Genre: Comedy, SoL, Official Website Plot Summary: The second season of Tamayura: Hitotose. For her first year of highschool, Fu Sawartari moves to Takehara, a scenic town near Hiroshima. Her father, who has passed away, grew up in this little town. She loves taking pictures with her father's old camera. The story follows her, and her group of friends that surround her. Recorder to Randoseru Mi☆ Air Date: 7/1/2013 Genre: Comedy, School Life Official Website Plot Summary: Third season of Recorder to Randoseru. Miyagawa Atsushi is an 11-year-old boy who is 180 centimeters tall. Since he has a grown-up looking build but acts his age, he has always been running into troubles. On the other hand, his 17-year-old elder sister Atsumi is only 137 centimeters tall. Even though she has a childish looking build, Atsumi takes good care of Atsushi. (What the hell is this?) Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu to Keiji Air Date: 7/3/2013 Genre: Action, Historical, Samurai, Martial Arts Official Website Plot Summary: The Sengoku era gave birth to many historical legends. Then, one day, a great hole suddenly appeared on the surface of the world, and a vast number of demons appeared. One day, Ema learns that Rintarou is going to remarry with a successful apparel maker named Asahina Miwa. Since she doesn't want to disturb them, Ema decides to move out and live with her 11 new brothers in a mansion called Sunrise Residence. As they live under the same roof, romance is starting to grow between Ema and the Asahina brothers. Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku Air Date: 7/5/2013 Genre: School, Girl likes fighting a bear so I'll be watching just for that Official Website Plot Summary: When a friend asks Natsuki what high school club she's going to join, she cheerfully responds "the go-home club" (meaning, she's not going to join any of them). However, she soon realizes that this club actually exists at her high school, and she's just expressed interest in joining it! Before she knows it, she ends up as one of the two new members of "the go-home club," which is a small group of eccentric school girls. One of the girls likes fighting bears, while another is ridiculously rich. But what exactly constitutes the activities of "the go-home club"? Rozen Maiden (2013) Air Date: 7/5/2013 Genre: Action, Comedy, Drama, Magic Official Website Plot Summary: Continuation of the Rozen Maiden series. Sakurada Jun spends his days online, ordering whatever he takes a liking to, only to return it before the payment is due. Due to psychological trauma from school, Jun generally keeps contact with people as little as possible. One day he finds instructions online that tell him to put his order into his desk drawer. Rubbing it off as a joke, Jun mindlessly does so only to find that his order instantly disappears from his drawer. A package suddenly appears, containing a beautiful antique doll. When wound up, this doll comes to life. Sadly for Jun, this doll Shinku views Jun as an equivalent for a servant. Despite the constant demands Jun now receives from Shinku, she slowly helps him overcome his fears of human contact as well as protect him from the deadly battles that come into his life due to her appearance. Servant x Service Air Date: 7/5/2013 Genre: Comedy, SoL Official Website Plot Summary: Anime about the staff of the health and welfare section of the ward office of a certain city. Newcomers Hasebe Yutaka, Yamagami, Miyoshi Saya, and their supervisor Ichimiya Taishi go through the everyday quirks of working at their office. Kiniro Mosaic Air Date: 7/6/2013 Genre: Comedy, School, Slice of Life Official Website Plot Summary: The story begins with Oomiya Shinobu, a 15-year-old, seemingly pure Japanese girl who actually did a homestay in Great Britain. Even after coming back to Japan, she still misses her time overseas. One day, an airmail letter arrives from Alice, the girl in Shinobu's host family in Great Britain. The letter reads: Shinobu, I'm coming to Japan! The Japanese/British girls' mixed comedy follows the lives of Shinobu, Alice, and other girls from both Japan and Great Britain. Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya Air Date: 7/6/2013 Genre: Action, Comedy, Fantasy, Magic Official Website Plot Summary: Spin-off of Fate/stay night with Illyasviel von Einzbern as the protagonist, living an alternate life as a school girl. Genei wo Kakeru Taiyou Air Date: 7/6/2013 Genre: Magic Official Website Plot Summary: A story of girls who solve mysterious matters that occur in this world, using the mystical tarot cards that hold the power to read destinies. Fantasista Doll Air Date: 7/7/2013 Genre: N one knows anything about this show (or no one cares) Official Website Plot Summary: This original story revolves around cute dolls who fight and power up with special cards. Genshiken Nidaime Air Date: 7/7/2013 Genre: Comedy, Parody, SoL Official Website Plot Summary: New series of Genshiken, adapted from the manga. The story continues the adventures of the Otaku club, "The Society for the Study of Visual Modern Culture". High School DxD New Air Date: 7/7/2013 Genre: Comedy, Demons, Ecchi, Romance, School, Shounen, Harem Official Website Plot Summary: Second season of High School DxD. Issei Hyodo is your average perverted high school student whose one wish in life is to have his own harem, but he's got to be one of the unluckiest guys around. He goes on his first date with a girl only to get brutally attacked and killed when it turns out the girl is really a vicious fallen angel. To top it all off, he's later reincarnated as a devil by his gorgeous senpai who tells him that she is also a devil and now his master! One thing's for sure, his peaceful days are over. In a battle between devils and angels, who will win? Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun 2 Air Date: 7/7/2013 Genre: Action, Fantasy, Supernatural Official Website Plot Summary: Second season of Hakkenden: Touhou Hakken Ibun. Senki Zesshou Symphogear G Air Date: 6/24/2013 Genre: Action, Music, Sci-fi Official Website Plot Summary: The second season of Senki Zesshou Symphogear. Two years ago, a pair of idols, Tsubasa Kazanari and Kanade Amou, collectively known as ZweiWing, fought against an alien race known as Noise using armor known as Symphogear. To protect a girl named Hibiki Tachibana, who got severely wounded by the Noise, Kanade sacrificed herself. Two years later, as Tsubasa has fought the Noise alone, Hibiki ends up gaining the same power as Kanade. Am....am I done? Sweeeeet. Means not a lot of potentially great shows but probably tons of nice ones, with some good 2-cour stuff from this season, that should make for a pretty good season. solidbatman Posted June 15, 2013 Author Share Posted June 15, 2013 After putting both of these thingys together, I've got to say summer might be more interesting than I first thought. Why do you ask? One of the girls likes fighting bears, while another is ridiculously rich. That one bit put Kitakubu Katsudou Kiroku on my radar. I mean, I don't care how bad the show is, as long as the bear fighting scenes look awesome. Blood Lad is also something I'm mildly interested in as well.
