Problem is that i get this error when i try to install the patch: Tried vmware with windows xp as well, but that patch just won't install. For some reason there's problems with using 1.1 since it struggled to hook to the translator. EDIT: Deep Blue already answered your question so forget about mine. Crack gives me a crc error regardless if i try before or after running that update, but that technological marvel says windows 95 on top, so for all i know it won't run properly on windows 8.1 or xp. Okarin Posted January 31, 2016 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Don't know if it will help, but Linux's Wine emulates Win 9X, I think. It's a lot of work putting Linux in vm and then putting Wine, but you never know. You could always grab an obsolete Win 95 and put it into a vm.
