  1. I wouldn't mind giving this a go, that is assuming you're happy to have someone with no DnD experience to make fun of.
  2. Remember when Goku's son Gohan was the strongest DBZ character? I miss those days.
  3. Technically it's just the right time for them to advance their relationship. Whilst that is true we aren't shown those months, they are told to us. Maybe I'm wrong but I just felt there should've been a more direct build up to the event in question.
  4. Thanks for the update Tay, hope everything is going well on those islands. I also submitted a loli report, hope it helps.
  5. That said, this is pretty par for the course so far. I'm hoping it gets better, though. The art is pretty damn good, but I'll occasionally have an issue with one of the mouths. A few of them look pretty weird, in my opinion. You've seen it, you can't un-see it!
  6. sure you can watch it; that is if you're into constant flashbacks, Sakura either crying or saying "Satsuki" by itself, the most inept shonen protagonist and a rival who wants to be Batman so much it's sad.
  7. I'll give my thoughts on the situation (because this thread was missing the opinion of a socially anxious dictator). As one of the heads of the VN Reading Club I've watched the club advance in the past five months. As the months have rolled on I've noticed something of a decline in member participation. That's why I suggested the idea of a retrospective/feedback thread to try and figure out how we can make the club more interesting and open to members (thanks for posting it Kyrt). Hopefully we'll be able to fix any problems but the only way we can is to figure out what the problems are. so how does this relate to this thread? Well, I, perhaps like most members, were unaware of any real problems on the site in regards to participation etc. This may be due to a lack of communication between the admins and us peasants but all the same, I was simply ignorant. Having read this thread I'd like to help out any way I can and I'm sure most people would, they just simply need to be told that they're needed. After all, how can something be fixed when no one knows it's broken? I think the best thing we can do at this point is ask one question. Why? Why aren't people participating? Why are people leaving? why don't people see what are (apparently) obvious failing on the site? Once we figure out the problem, then we can deal with it. I don't participate as much as I'd like for a few reasons. The fact that, due to my time-zone, a lot of stuff happens while I'm either sleeping or at uni and sifting thought all the new threads and comments simply becomes to bothersome. But when I do participate I honestly can't see many of the problems Ren is talking about. The Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort Thread has been flooding my e-mails, Old Zenny recently revived the Princess Evangile Thread (and the Waifu Wars within). So although things aren't as good as they can be, they are still pretty good and could definitely be worse. But of course this is just my opinion, it could be that I'm wrong on every level and I'll cop to my mistakes if I've made any. I just feel we need a little more context before we start pointing the finger at anyone. Funny you should mention giveaways; one of the potential ideas for the VN Club is to have quizzes where we give prizes away. So you may not be the only one for too long.
  8. I use a Lenovo G50. I bought it only two months ago (compliments of the Australian Government) and this is the only vn I've had this issue with.

  10. Finished the common route for the first time last night. So far I'm having a good time, it's not a great vn but it's serviceable. The pacing is somewhat lacking, I felt like the CR should've been a little longer with the protagonist spending a little more time alone with each heroine. The setting is fantastic, it's great to have a vn set somewhere new and the backgrounds are gorgeous. The music has done a good job of adding to the immersion though I'll admit I haven't paid too much attention to the music, so it might get repetitive over time. The characters are pretty good, Sango and Shiori are a ton of fun, Umi is cute and the others are good, but the lack of decent screen-time is holding them back from leaving a lasting impression. The protagonist is also pretty good at this point and I find his reactions to be pretty realistic. Whilst I would agree with you there, I would argue that one of the primary reasons for her cuteness is because of how her personality and dialogue match up with the protagonists. And while we're talking about the User Interface; is this vn lagging for anyone? Seems every time the character sprites change the vn starts lagging and I could read Journey to the West in the time it takes for the Log to open up.
  11. Hope your recovery goes smoothly mate. Take care, we'll leave a seat open for you when you get back.
  12. "According to Wataru-San, he loves himself more than anything or anyone". I think I finally found my soul-mate.
  13. I'm rather surprised at my reactions to Swan Song. I really like it; the writing is superb, the characters are likable and I'm invested enough to want to see where it goes. And yet, why aren't I playing it more? At the very least I should be playing it in the usual 2-3 hour gap that I dedicate to reading vns but despite my intrigue I can't find the motivation to read it.

  18. I second the motion. Also my spoiler button seems to have run away.
  19. Alright, just got those two pesky uni assignments out of the way, now I can devote myself to reading this vn.
  20. The Fuwareviews team did an official Princess Evangile review. What do you guys think of it? http://reviews.fuwanovel.net/2015/09/11/princess-evangile-2/
  21. Welcome to the community, feel free to ask any questions you may have. I think this will be an experience for all of us, I personally would very much like to know what Japanese developers think about the potential market here in the west. Also, call it shameless self advertising, but we have a vn reading club here on Fuwanovel (of which I am one of the co-leaders) so if you're interested in seeing how we discuss vns here I'd recommend checking it out and even joining in if you're interested. This month we're reading Swan Song. http://forums.fuwanovel.net/topic/11448-vn-reading-club-september-swan-song/
