  1. I've played many of the ones on the list  ^_^ JRPGs are my favorite.  Just sucks, I don't really have as much time to fully engross myself in them as much anymore.

Here's some that aren't on the list that you can add~ (They're old ones I've played before, and liked)

    -The Last Story

    -Pandora's Tower

-Lufia, Lufia II, Lufia: Curse of the Sinistrals

    -Legend of Mana

    -Legend of Legaia

    -Vandal Hearts, Vandal Hearts II

    -Vanguard Bandits

-Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together

    -Brave Fencer Musashi

    -Mega Man Legends

    -Zelda: Ocarina of Time

    -Chocobo Dungeon 1-2

I'm not sure if these games count as jrpg

    -Fatal Frame

    -Corpse Party

    -Danganronpa

  2. I hope you don't forget to bring a taser

I don't have a taser, but I do have pepper spray xD.  I'll probably share how it goes on saturday or sunday.  If you don't hear from me by then... maybe something happened to me .  I'm sure I'll be fine though~

  3. It made me smile from amusement, but I cracked up on Elfen Lied, and the Deathnote one right after it.  The last Deathnote one was pretty funny too, just the way it was shouting White People!!!  had me laughing.

  4. Shin Sekai Yori is down the center of what I'd like theoretically, but in all honesty I think I'm only about halfway through it ^^;;

You should definitely try finishing it~, it just keeps getting better.

This is complete shit.  If you can't banter and insult one another comfortably, then the relationship isn't going to last.  A relationship built upon treading lightly takes the same amount of light force to break apart.  This, I can guarantee.

Good, it was never meant to be if she got pissed over something so light.  I suggest you say "good riddance" and move on.

Again, if your friends can't detect obvious sarcasm and take offense to it, it will most likely take more effort than is worth it to keep them as a friend.  You shouldn't have to change how you act around your friends, that's what you do when you have a job.  Especially if they have known you for a long enough time that they should be able to determine whether or not you are serious.

It could just be that I'm laid back as hell and just as blunt, but if someone takes offence to anything I say, sarcastic or not, I laugh at them, then thank them for their entertainment services.

Confession: I do somewhat agree with Abyss's views on this, but at the same time, I do think sometimes it takes some effort in understanding one another and some compromises between people who are a bit different.  To write someone off instantly because they aren't always on the same page as you, could spoil something that could have had potential to be good.

I don't mind changing a bit for someone if I could understand the reason for it, but there's also a limit to how much I'd be willing to change if it went against my core values.

I tried telling her that, but she has read my replies and she's not answering back. I think this might be the end. How anti-climactic :amane:

As long as you tried to reconcile, I think that's the best you could do...  that shows that you cared enough at least.  Now, it's her turn to try~ and if it doesn't work out.. then just not meant to be I guess^^;  like, Abyss said.. some aren't worth the effort keeping if it's that easy to break up in the first place.  I hope it works out though!

  5. Confession: I love to sing but I sound like a dying whale when I do it.

Confession: I like to sing too, but I probably also sound like that.  I have more of an alto singing voice I think, so I can't really hit high notes well.

She was going to send me a piece of her final papef since she was stressing about it and I had offered to help her several times already, so she was saying that she was replying to me now only because she wanted my help and then saying it was only a joke and that she would still continue talking to me even if I wasn't going to assist her.

So I said: are you sure you're not just taking advantage of my kindness? ;)

Her reply: REALLY? If that's how you really feel then we should probably end our friendship here

    ...

I can kind of understand how she could get mad if she took your statement seriously, since you did recently sort of confess to her.  Seems like just some misunderstanding though...   :nervous: just tell her it was a joke and you didn't mean for her to take it seriously.

I mean, I think I also wouldn't want to stay friends with someone if I knew they felt I was only taking advantage of them, because it'd show me they don't think our friendship is genuine, or something like that.  It's almost an attack on a person's character in a way.. so could be why it could anger someone? I dunno~ just guessing.

Confession: Though, I do find it kinda funny that she made a joke about talking to you only because of wanting your help with schoolwork... and then you tried to make a similar joke back, and she got mad, lol.. so weird.

  6. Confession: so, this happened

    33nvjpj.jpg

    Ps: my sister did it

    Ohh, nice!  Happy (late)birthday Tyr!

That's a pretty neat gift, my family would never do anything like that for me xD -jealous!-

    You asked for it :amane:

Edit: Fuck. Did I really just post this...?

    Confession: After I read it, I was like, "whoaa~ Linova's got game~"

  7. People are also willing to cling to any small hope they can find. It’s best for you to slightly crush her hopes/dreams a bit so she can move on in reality (and find better opportunities). Others might disagree with me on this approach as it can be quite cruel. An alternative will be just keep things the way they are, not letting it get anywhere.

Which is more cruel? :P Totally dropping someone as a friend ignoring/avoiding them because they've crushed on you, and that's your way of helping them move on... or giving them the choice to stay friends after confronting, but could risk them pining for you?

  8. Too lazy to take this somewhere else, but how can you friendzone someone before they confess to you? Like how can you make someone understand that you have no feelings for her if she's giving you signs and yes I am too lazy to take this to the Advice thread :sachi:

I know this might be awkward method, but you could just casually ask, "you don't like me more than a friend, do you?" and see what she says.  If she says no, can just laugh it off as a joke xD.  If yes, then can try to tell her that you're not interested in her in a nice way, somehow. (but~ maybe that's weird for a guy to use.. I dunno.  I've done that before though, lol)

You could also just ignore/avoid, and hopefully she'll get it and goes away... but do this only if you don't care about losing the friendship.

  9. Then the question lies in how to avoid feeling like/being interpreted as that ;-;

I just do what I do with everyone xD...  stop talking when they aren't responsive.  I think it's pretty easy to tell when someone isn't interested in talking more... it mostly gets quiet & very one-sided in terms of effort.  At least at the acquaintance stage.. I wouldn't want to bother people too much.

When you're closer friends, you can be more annoying and get away with it.. because sometimes they'll just tell you to stop being annoying, lol.

Confession: I'm very thankful to Ren!  I received the giveaway gift of Clannad today, and it made me very happy~!

Hehe.. I wanna show it off!

When I have more free time, I'd like to play it ^_^ and can also practice my Japanese on it.

  10. When I was a little kid I used to laugh in my sleep.  My sister told me it creeped her the hell out because she'd be going to bed, and I'd just start laughing when it was pitch black for no discernible reason.

Not really connected to laughing in my sleep, but I once had a dream that my entire family, besides my dad, was being mauled to death by tigers.  I dreamed some messed up shit as a kid.

    That's pretty funny xD.

I slept in same room as my cousins one time, and they told me I creeped them out because I was mumbling in my sleep like I was talking to someone (I wasn't aware of it though).

Random, but I once dreamed that I was fighting a zombie apocalypse with a team.  We were surrounded by a horde though, so were shooting and killing as much as we could, before I got ripped apart and eaten... I actually imagined some of the pain so it woke me up.  Another scary dream I had, an axe murderer was chasing me through an empty mall and I was trying to hide and not get chopped in half.

  11. I like how Cyr is more comfortable posting her madoka thoughts here rather than say, the what are you watching thread over in anime/manga :sachi:

Sorry xD, I guess I automatically felt most comfortable telling everyone on this thread and didn't really think about it.  I-it's because I like you guys on here~

Confession: I was dreaming of swimming with my friends. I was having a lot of fun, but I suddenly woke up. The shock of realizing that you weren't actually having fun was enough to put me to sleep once again. It felt like reality was shattered. Or is it more of a 'reality shattered my illusion'?

I've had fun dreams like that before.  I wake up, realize it was just a dream, and I think, 'Noooooooooo' -tries to go back to sleep and re-dream again to be happy-

Confession: I've also had sad ones before where I'd cry in my dream, and then wake up crying really hard too.  It's usually about friendship or family that can get me emotional.  I think one time, I thought my parents died but woke up realizing it was just a dream.
