  1. I'm still interested and as it doesn't require me to directly compete with anyone, my chances are as good as they can be. XD Good luck everyone. ^^
  2. Considering that I liked Michiru I would probably play this. ^^ I doubt they'd pass it off as canon to the series so if it's enjoyable then it's all good in my book.
  3. @Yume: I gave the Normal version a go and it felt just right for someone at my level. There where a few times when the pace changed subtly and caught me out, like some of the short sliders went really fast and were over before I got them. Will need to do it a couple more times to get it. XD Grats on the #1 =D. I meant this sig, thanks for the info Jaxter: I see a lot of people use custom skins, which ones do you all like best? I tried a couple but after playing with the default I found some of the skins made it harder to see some aspects both during play and in the menus.
  4. 4-star difficulty seems to be my upper limits atm, Yume's Insane map is beyond me at this time. XD Difficulty in this game seems hard to quantise though, some 3-star Normals are too easy whilstothers are too hard for me. I don't know if it's just me being bad though. XD Btw, how do you get the sigs?
  5. I started Hearthstone at a LAN last weekend, I'm still a noob but if anyone wants a game whenever I am online you can add me (FaythArcana). ^^
  6. Thanks for the replies folks. Iirc, Sharnoth was the first VN I read and I really did enjoy it. Everything from the music to the story and especially the art was just gorgeous, not to mention Mary is one of my favourite MCs and I'm a fan of period style Britain so the setting was really nice too. I know the games are all set in their own worlds but if the stories are as good as Sharnoth I'm sure I'll like them too.
  7. Hey folks, I feel like reading Shikkoku no Sharnoth again and started wondering about the other titles in the WAB series. I've also put Inganock on my to-read list but I understand there are two more? Are any of them actually related to each other? If so, should I be reading them in a certain order?
  8. So I started playing osu! last week (when I saw this thread XD). I've never been very good at rythm games and I honestly can't see myself managing anything above Normal difficulties. XD Still, I've been playing standard mode and loving it, username is MysteriousFayth, tips welcome!
  9. If the contest is something I can participate in then I wouldn't mind a chance at this. ^^
  10. Hey there, welcome to Fuwanovel. I disappear for one weekend and I get back to find so many in need of welcoming. =D
  11. Hey there, welcome to the forums.
  12. Heya, welcome to fuwanovel!
  13. My favourite route was Michiru's, I found it quite interesting and Michiru felt like the strongest character in a otherwise cliché cast (excluding Kazuki). Following Michiru's route, it's probably Sachi > Makina/Amane > Yumiko.
  14. Ah that is probably it, Rewrite and LB were my first Key titles and I found them really enjoyable. I am liking Kanon as well, like you folks said though, I'm just used to filler. XD Thanks anyway
  15. This was my only gripe with G-senjou, all the paths except Haru's has you believe that the MC is the antagonist as well as the protaganist. Yet the true route suddenly introduces his older brother as the antagonist. It really annoyed me as by reading Haru's route you come to understand Maou's motives and the big riot and ensuing occupation begins. Considering Kyohei doesn't really appear in the other routes, there should be nothing to change his plans yet he suddenly vanishes and sets it all aside because his younger brother (whom he hates) found love or something? I'd call it poor writing but it is clearly intended that we believe Kyousuke is Maou in all but Haru's route. I can only reconcile that Haru's route is it's own story seperate from the other heroines. Having a hard time wording my irritation and speculations but just so you know, it annoyed me too. XD
  16. I started reading Kanon today, I haven't finished a route yet but something I already feel is that the passage of time is quite poorly portrayed. I'm not really sure why, there doesn't seem to be a significant difference from how other VNs would show time passing (blank screens, empty text). Some of the conversations don't feel very natural either and seem to be over as quickly as they start. I haven't had this impression in any of the other VNs I have read so is it just me? Or possibly the writing or translation? I will keep at it though, I don't like leaving things unfinished but this feeling was just nagging away at me. So I thought I would see what others think. XD
  17. I also prefer that there is no true route as I often prefer the heroines outside of it, an example that comes to me immediatley is Tomoyo and Kyou in Clannad. I liked AS but as far as the characters went, those two girls were my favourites. On the flip side, when a VN has an overarching story I feel that a true route is necessary to tie everything up satisfactorily.
  18. I've loved the Trinity Blood OP since I first saw it, I never tire of the song and it's thanks to it that I discovered BUCK-TICK <3. http://youtu.be/__4PiVKMuAQ
