  1. Welcome to the FuwaForums! Ever17 is a VN I've actually been meaning to get around to reading.
  2. Welcome to the Fuwaverse! Enjoy your eternal condemnation stay!
  3. Papa no Iukoto wo Kikinasai! just made me shed a few tears in the last episode. Really have to appreciate this anime on an emotional/psychological level while still keeping it a drama/comedy.
  4. Sword Art Online gave me a great quote. "I expect a good fight. A man is his strongest, when he has something to protect." --- Heathcliff
  5. Welcome to the forums!
  6. Just got hit by that post-really good anime slump. Toradora, why'd you have to be so good?

  7. The last few episodes of Angel Beats. Loved it as an anime, but dang it made me emotional at the end.
  8. Yeah, the PS3 and Vita and its called "Infinite Stratos 2: Ignition Hearts" I believe. Its supposedly going to be released in February 2014.
  9. Hey, you introduced yourself and I think that's all that really matters. Welcome to the forum!
  10. Ok, Toradora may be the funniest anime I have watched in EVER.

  11. So, I'm definitely down for some Civ V if anybody ever wants to play! I have every dlc pack up to date. Besides that, I do a lot of League of Legends. Add me on Steam if you want: theammowaster League of Legends: AmmoSupplier
  12. You like SAO and thats good enough to get on my good side! Welcome to the forums! And I woulda said Hanar up to the <shamelessplug>, which made me think elcor.
  13. My first Visual Novel was Shuffle!, which the only reason I gave a try was because I got bored one day and happened to watch the anime for it on Netflix, and in the Netflix description stated it was "based off of a video game". One thing led to another and BAM. I got hooked on Visual Novels (One's that I could read at least). I have to say, as a guy who absolutely hates reading books, Visual Novels make reading actually interesting, mainly as it really doesn't FEEL as if you are reading a book. My favorite books as a kid always were the pick your path books, and I honestly missed those. Visual Novels brought back the pick your path part of reading that I so missed, and combined it with my interest in Japanese culture and Otaku-culture. Best of both worlds if you ask me!
  14. Emi for sure. And I can see why people say KS is overrated/underrated; but I honestly liked it because of the morales it sets forth which you don't often see in VN's. Many just have a good plotline(s) and leave you feeling warm and fuzzy afterwards, but KS tries to teach a different lesson with each route, which I find kind of inspiring. But that's just my opinion.
  15. I'll just sit back here, silently cheering for Charlotte, and awaiting the PS3 and PSP VN to release soon.
  16. Well, I have also read Tick Tack!, Fate/Stay Night, Clannad, and Hakuoki: Memories of the Shinsengumi. I feel like I may be missing one or 2 more, but these are what come to mind.
  17. Just bought Battlefield 4 for $20 on Origin yesterday and am raring to have a go at that. But I have to say GTA V and Dragon Age Origins have kept me entertained.
  18. Sooo I'm just gonna throw my few shows I'm watching at the minute in. Walkure Romanze - Mainly because I was really interested in playing the visual novel when it first came out but I can't read Japanese. I have to say though the situations in the anime are fairly humorous and the fact they put a lot of legitimate plot into it does a good job at masking the fact it is a harem anime. Outbreak Company - Great comedy anime that has good character development, and the humor is actually fairly witty. I think the thing I like the most though is the fact the director not only tries to convey a message about discrimination through the show (Which is a good message that more people should learn) but also throws in small easter egg bits of comedy if you happen to have knowledge of the director and his work. My Mental Choices are ... ... ... Romantic Comedy - Simply put, it's funny. It's completely ridiculous, but I find it enjoyably funny. Infinite Stratos 2 - Good combination of romance, comedy, and action. Takes me back to when I was watching Full Metal Panic.
  19. Hi there guys! I guess I'll just jump right in and introduce myself. You guys can call me Mizore Man (or just M&M). I'm a university student from the southwest US and a bit of a comedian and also a bit of a hopeless romantic . I am also a Computer Science major with a minor in Japanese, and my hobbies include gaming (all types: pc, console, Tamagatchi pets, you name it), anime, keeping up with the tech industry, stand-up comedy, and of course visual novels. I hope to get to know you guys and be an active member on the site. Before somebody asks, my favorite VN to date is probably Katawa Shoujo, which is right above Shuffle! on my list. Favorite Anime is definitely a tie between The World God Only Knows and Kokoro Connect. Favorite Game? Best game I have ever played is Age of Empires II for the pc. Otherwise it has to be Pokemon. Stick to the classics. And lastly, favorite comedian is Louis CK. Wanna get to know me more? Feel free to ask away. B)
  20. Well I will be learning Japanese and hopefully becoming fluent in it over the next year or two. Might even go study abroad for a while if things look up.
  21. If you guys will have me, I can definitely say I am willing to help where ever/whenever possible.
  22. I just found this thread after a bit of searching and wanted to say I'm glad that such groups of people like this exist. I would be more than willing to help with this project in any way that I can. I'm currently enrolled in University as a Computer Science major with a minor in Japanese, but I don't begin my minor until January. I am however completely finished with English classes and am very fluent there, if you could ever use another editor. I also know a decent amount of programming too, if any help is needed there also.
