You're more devoted than me that way) At first i also wanted to read through VN, but after watching Fate/Stay Night anime... i abandoned the idea of doing so, cuz i'm absolutely not fan of it, especially MC, don't like him at all, annoying. Fate/Zero was better, especially 2nd season, but everything else... I even didn't watch UBW full show, maybe some other time or maybe won't do it at all. Dunno, the whole thing kinda didn't cling to me the way i hoped.

Finally caught up a bit with Monogatari series since last year - finished Koyomimonogatari. Still don't feel like it's as cult anime how many people say. Back when i started with Bakemonogatari i didn't quite like it at all - only later thought maybe it wasn't that bad as i thought at start. Well, gonna watch the rest - movies and Owarimonogatari S2.

Playing NNK2 and in the last Chapter. Well, i like the story, but huge amount of side quests and time needed for kingdom building are tiring me out. I'll finish main story and then we'll see. If i feel like it, maybe will play more, if not - maybe it's time to start 2nd route in KH BBS. Or another option - i'm gonna receive my Drakengard 3 delivery in the nearest days.

Got my 4th plat this year - YS VIII. Great game. After the story i started that post-game dungeon and man that thing pissed me of with number of monsters!!! That's ridiculous!!! Or so i thought before i remembered to switch difficulty... Yeah, finished half of a dungeon on Nightmare, avoiding most of the monsters... But then switched to Easy and that was... Well, easy)) Now's NNK2 time.

Watching Servant x Service. 6/13 episodes so far. As it's from the creator of Working!! i expected it to be good. Well, it is rather good, but... Could be better imo. I like Yamagami and Chihaya. I absolutely don't like Tohko, she's damn annoying, so get lost, girl. Others are... From so-so to meh from time to time. Their behavior irritates me sometimes because it's like they're afraid of just talking and constantly apologize to each other... Even Yamagami. I mean, i'm used to it in other shows but not to that extent. Remove it and show will be better.

Hm, i usually here that people that have read Grisaia VN despise it's anime adaptation. But i guess it's first time when someone mentions it not reading the VN.

Worst anime? Mirai Nikki takes the spot easily. Other honorable mentions - High School DxD starting from S3. Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake - OVA that conclude the story. Date a Live S2. Zero no Tsukaima as a whole.

Thought of trying NieR on RPCS3 someday myself. Considering the fact i wasn't able to play the original. Heard they improved emu quite a bit. But yeah, better be remaster.

Common route was good. I liked how they introduced characters and didn't rush with the story to let us get used to them, to know their personalities. Enjoy Michiru's route, it may surprise you. It was rather heartwarming for me. As for Amane - at first i also thought that she's your usual cliche anime girl, but for some reason later i changed my mind a bit and discovered that she's not bad at all. And her route even my fav one, still remember deep impressions i got reading it. Also i like how all these girls form such an interesting and funny (in slice of life moments) group that you feel it would be lacking something if one girl is to be removed. They just complement each other, and in result we have great VN with unique characters, each with their own personal background.

Do you know how it ends? There are 26 (!!) volumes + 3 spin-offs, according to wiki. And i heard that all these volumes are all about the same stuff we see in anime, so i can't imagine how it could be fun to read all of it... Dunno just how long do they plan on doing seasons...

You know, maybe... But, honestly, that's the first time it actually caught my eye so obviously. I see no progress throughout the series at all. Boobs may be, but starting from S3 it's just mostly plain irritating than fun.

I usually don't watch airing anime, cuz don't wanna wait for the next episodes, especially if i like the show very much. Just imagining i have to wait for new episode of "Boku no Hero"... Especially when i know they're gonna be awesome, considering the manga... No, just no, i have plenty of shows to watch as it is. But i can make one exception to this rule, and i've done it now - started to watch "High School DxD Hero", because know for certain that won't especially like the show, so no "GIVE ME THE NEXT EPISODE RIGHT NOW!" here. Just watch for completion, as finished all 3 seasons beforehand. So finished 6 episodes. And like i thought it's mostly trash, really. Many people would disagree, considering the fact that it is 4th season, so there is demand for it, but... No. It's kinda difficult now to think that i actually like S1 very much, i consider it very good. But starting from S2 and especially S3 it's a straight road to trash can... Moreover, it's

Well, i didn't say it was unbelievable. But they did great, considering the fact that Extra is kinda prologue and not that great, with many cliche things, but later they developed it into Alternative which has become of the best VNs ever. OK, that's what i think. Sumika is damn annoying and my opinion didn't change after Alternative. If you look at her from the side, it may seem not so bad... Then you read some more and again "Damn, you're annoying!" Later she Other than that. Actually i found that girls here are not like they looked for me at first sight. I mean: Ayamine - one of the best girls ever for me. Really, i didn't expect that, seriously. But i place her on the same level as Miyako (Majikoi), Anzu (Da Capo 2), Kotomi (Clannad). That was really unexpected, i even read her route in Extra twice, before and after Alternative. Meiya - pretty good. No surprises here. Chizuru and Miki - better than i thought. Especially considering Miki, but again it's subjective, because i'm not a fan of loli. But she's good. Regarding original question in 1st post. Considering Muv-Luv - i didn't know such detail. But i knew about it in some other VNs and that didn't stop me from reading and enjoying them. Won't name these for spoilers though.

I'll mix my opinion with comments below. Agreed. In anime it's even worse, cuz at least in VN i don't see and hear him... Even more than Riku, i also not fan of Rin, at all. She is annoying. And that's sad, because of I quite enjoyed fighting stuff, but only during first route. After that i didn't care about it. But first time it was quite fun. As for other game - didn't bother. But i can understand people who really play it and train. Don't quite remember her voice. But i have to say that sometimes BEFORE you stand on girl's route, she's not look very attractive by her personality... And that was the case with Komari for me. After you start route - all's good. I have a feeling that could be even better. But yeah, pretty good. Elaborated on that above. I enjoyed characters sometimes only after i read their routes. But some are good as they are even before that. As for the routes themselves - i'd say they're all very good and enjoyable. Worth it. Pure subjectivity from me here - i so wish But anyway, i like

As a bit of advice, try 2nd one anyway. Imo it's better. Although i have to say that i don't care about 3 out of 6 routes in the game (if i remember correctly, that's what you have in the original version, they added more later, but it's in japanese only). But other 3 are good, depends on your preferences though. And i have my most favorite girl here among all Da Capo VNs. Want to read Da Capo 2 Spring Celebration so much, but, again, japanese only... Such is life, unfortunately.

Oh, i see. I don't know how it was in manga. I only know it was more gruel. And overall, yeah, i agree that anime adaptation was way better. Very rare occasion.

Yeah, well, for me it's not only due to animation, but based on content as well. I mean, as far as i remember, they covered 2 original seasons (with 89 episodes) with only 26 episodes, so you can't even feel their chemistry in relationships inside group and such stuff.

lol same tbh. But i'm still on S2 for now, combining it with playing YS VIII. Really great show with cool MC for a change. The only thing i despise - Other than that - great. Plus at the end of S1 When i started to watch anime, i also decided to rewatch Sailor Moon, remembering childhood. Although in my case there was good translation on TV back then, so i went with it. It's actually 1 of the 2 anime i can watch with translation, others are only with subs, no exceptions. It's a great show, really. So i had my hopes considering Crystal series, but... After S1 i decided that no, don't wanna watch S2, it's just incomparable to the original in all aspects. It's bad. Added "Yuru Camp" to my backlog when i first had a glance on it. Will start to watch it in the near future as well.
