Making friends offline is difficult because of it, but there were a bunch of people who initiated conversation with me and I'm friends with them so I guess I'm lucky there, but on the internet it doesn't really work that way. The whole anxiety thing is only an issue if I want to get along with people online since I have to do all the work myself. I can't just wait for people to approach me like I do irl

This seems promising
nothing has really caught my interest lately so I'd certainly appreciate a recommendation.
Length doesn't really matter too much. I'd prefer something a tad longer than the standard 12 episodes, but it's not like I won't watch something that's only 12 eps.
I tend to prefer stuff where romance is present but isn't the focus of the story.
