Here's some more stuff that you might like: Air - Another Key VN, but it's somewhat different that then rest of them, although not as different as Rewrite Ever17 - Pretty much the classic mindfuck VN Steins;Gate - An amazing story about time travel (not a story that has time travel, but one that is actually about it) Katawa Shoujo - Contrary to popular belief, not a cripple fucking simulator Cross Channel - Kind of similar to Grisaia no Kajitsu in that it takes place in a school for those who don't fit in with society And if you can look past the art (or use the patches) and don't mind the fact that they are completely linear (you shouldn't limit yourself to just VNs with multiple routes): Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Umineko no Naku Koro ni

I actually wanted to make a Kanji review program in Java, but I couldn't get the encoding to work when reading from a file so I gave up D: I made a Katakana/Hiragana drill program though, and it worked because all the data was stored in the program itself. Also I never intended to have everyone call you Steve, Steve. I simply added the italics for emphasis.

If and when a 2014 topic is made I doubt we'll see a hundred people joining all of a sudden, which is what I meant by "the year doesn't matter", as long as you put in consistent effort and come here every now and then if you need some motivation you'll be fine. Also you only need motivation until you've formed a habit. I started using Anki for Kanji in June, and at this point doing it daily is a habit, even if I do it at different times of day.

True, but I'm pretty sure that nobody who has posted here recently besides Tay was even on the forums when this thread was created.

I don't think the year really matters, as long as you're willing to put in consistent effort.
