    TB have made alot of vidoes I disagree with too, but this one is good.

    I think VN's have a similar problem like that of video games. Media and other stuff have put it in a bad light and therefore we look down or away from them. I did this before I tried them. Boy were they different than I thought they were lol. I thought they were all just dating sims with tentacle hentai.

    But I was wrong. It existed alot of very long and good literature with use of more kinds of media. How awesome.

    About the Media... I agree 100% with what Totalbiscuit said. The media is currupt with the only importance of earning money.

    I can take a example from my country Norway. We had a shooting with a crazed man killing around a 100 young people at a political camp. He also blew up a big bomb at our government's main building. All very big new's here in Norway, as nothing really interesting happens here. Worst that could happen is, a politician driving his tractor to work.

    We heard contiued to hear new's and dicussions about it everyday, in the papers, on the radio, on the tv for a year. A year! Now a 1 year and a half it has died down and he's in prison. Really pisses me off how they put so much focus on it when there are so many people who are griefing over people that are close to them they lost. Getting reminded of those you have lost so often doesn't help with your grief, it makes it worse.

    The media have lost my respect after that.

    Stay away, is what I would do.

    This VN is supposedly a very advanced in that it has multiple writing styles, etc. I would not watch the anime or read the vn before becoming more advanced with the language. As it would be like reading one of the vn's in "what beautiful series" with ATLAS. It would be a waste.

    Also Moogy *Pfff* said something in the lines of: it being a test of a translator to translate it, because you have to sdapt such a elaborate use of language which is almost "impossible"

    So, I would play a other vn than this ^^

    Well, I don't have anything against mangagamer but even if they have intrest in it. It will take quite some time before they will get a deal. translate it, bug fix, wait for japanese creators then release it.

    Even more so when they got so bad sales on the pervious DC. Why wait for a probably translation in the future, if someone is willing to 100% translate it now?

    It stuck me, some people won't know that new games have been added to the site without reading this thread. Maybe there should be a messege or feed of somekind so it comes up in the news section on the fuwanovel front page.

    Some kind of coding, each time a new vn is added would be most practical as adding it manual each time would be a bother.

    Just a thought.

    Would do it if I could code >.<

    I had an Idea in the meantime of writing this, Why don't You do this? You Make 2 Versions for the "Browse" and "Otome" Sections in Fuwan, One is the actual English Version, that is the Important one for the web, and also there is a Button in Which you can change it to a "Completely Chinese Browse Page" In other words, a simple button to change the language of only the browse page, which enables you to enter the completly chinese browsing page or otome page, obviously all contents in that page would be on chinese and the games that show up in that one would have their description, comments and all in Chionese (Whitout having to change anything from the Prime web in ENG, just an ADDON to say it in another way)

    soungs good, I like it. We could have it just for Chinese and add the less popular language patches on the game pages. German, spanish, etc. If we do this not sure if we should have the chinese version there too. They have their own "site" so to speak. But some might not find the button.

    Well It just struck me, how many Chinese use google translator on the sites ^^ Some might. If they do that, they would ignore the button and not find the patch and get confused. lol.

    You, thinking about adding patches other language patches to the current pages with english downloads on fuwanovel? Or making new sections with preinstalled chinese versions, german etc?

    I thinkt its fine just adding new links to the current pages.

    But for people who only would like chinese versions a flag button as Tromend says is a good idea.

    Also kinda makes me wonder if how many who can read chinese who would visit this site also can read english.

    Seems, alot like to lurk some before joining. That's okay :P

    Omg yes, reading position is a great matter. I used alot of money on a armchair, which is very comfortable. I put my laptop on my lap and lean back. Put game on auto read, then I don't move a muscle for hours. Brilliant. Doubt I could read that many Vn's as I have without it.

    Everyone has their tastes, though. I kinda dislike goro lol.

    I learned english by 10 000's of hours of reading, tv, etc. Learning jap the same way is going to take some time. :P So I atleast decided to learn more seriously, going to take some time that too :D/>

    Welcome Finjas!

    15-20 novels is not a small amount lol. Takes some time to complete that. I have completed 30 now and I've played for 2 years now.

    I'm learning japanese too.

    I think everyone who has tried learning kanji, will know the suffering of forgetting it the very next day lol. :D/>/>/>/>

    About my mother-language, lets keep it a secret for now. Maybe someday when I'm adapt to forum-community and there won't be much things that can discredit my reputation I'll tell. :3

    Oh hai.

    I'm qberty. (kyew-berty).

    I lurk over these forums quite a bit and decided to register to chat it out with all of you. I'm sure everyone here is more knowledge-able about visual novels than I could ever be (though I've been playing them since I was 13). Being a little older now, I still can't seem to shake liking for visual novels. It's probably because I have no friends in real life. xD

    I'm also the developer and owner of the 0m3ga Visual Novel Engine! Which can be used to create your OWN VN's or translate existing ones with ease!

    I think my first visual novel was X-change 3. LOL. I knew about the first and the second, but just like any 13 year old reading the last page of a book, I wanted to know how rich the content could get after that many sequels. To my amazement, after spending over a week reading it, one of the end routes made me feel an emotion i'd never had experienced before... and now I like cats.

    I figured it was kind of childish to still like VN's after so long, but i'm sure you all understand WHY. Gosh.

    So now, I come to you with the most cliche question of any forum thread, but with a twist.

    What Visual Novels WOULDN'T you recommend?

    Also, What are some VN's that have special properties that make them a little different. x-change had the boy changing into a girl, School days had the severe deaths, princess waltz has a built-in cheesy card game, Da Capo having it's twisted italian title reference to it's back-story etc...

    I find it more childish to be immersed in football than vn's imo :P But it's all a matter of taste :)

    You found vn's pretty early in life! I just started a few years back. Well I guess my first VN was monkey island 2, not japanese or ero tho lol (I was age 7)

    Started on Sengoku rance.. It was fun for some hours, comedy and gameplay made a fun game to play. After a while tho it got quite repetetive imo, battles are pretty much the same. With minor variations. The comedy scenes and h-scenes was plenty and good intself but I struck me. Why I am playing this game? For the gameplay? No its rather dull and repetetive. For the story? No. Only the comedy is kinda funny still but, hell its not worth it. So I dropped the game.

    Started with Remember 11, lol much better. I feel better already. I started to get a craving for good vn's.

    I have now watched the episodes after reading this thread. It was pretty good show. It really was well done, pretty much all of it. But the start was kinda wierd, when one of the characters disappeared. Didn't really feel much for her, so I laughed rather than felt sad lol. Pretty deep stuff they added tho, made me sad.

    But one thing was wierd, I dont remember where in the anime but. Kybei, said that one of the laws of thermomechanics is that when energy transfers, some of the energy will be lost. Which is incorrect. Major plot hole lol. But I guess it could be correct in that "universe" -_-

    I haven't seen this thread yet, but if there is one, feel free to delete this. Anyway, what are your favorite anime?

    Mine is the Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei saga. It was my introduction to anime aside from Persona 4, and I couldn't have picked a crazier anime. It's just one big satire of Japanese culture with plenty of insane situations. The plot is essentially a suicidal teacher and his class of crazy students. Words dont do the insanity justice, so here's an opening from one of the seasons.

    Insanity

    Best anime, hmm that's pretty hard.. I guess either Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood or Code Geass. Maybe Death note... But it kinda got messed up after a while.

    Hmm... alltime favorite over everything? Thats a tough choice, I'd say it would be between Sekirei and Angel Beats, Angel Beats was just pure hilarity.

    Angel beats is indeed awesome, I have rewatched it a few times. It's still very funny and emotional. I would put it as the best if it weren't just 12 episodes. >_>

    Not exactly new indeed. w

    Art-wise I would recommend the first Bishoujo Mangekyou game for your nukige joys. It's probably the easiest to read eroge in Japanese I've ever read, but it still does the job, even better than other ones I've played. As for the second one.. I haven't played that yet.

    Comedy-wise I'll have to trick you into playing Manyokko Minorin or Oto Love for "pure hilarity". XD

    You brought a really good point, maybe I'm thinking too much about formality, good sentences, and whatnot :P

    :D If your writing is engrish, then I am a like my primeminister. He speaks horrible english, hahaha (Norwegian btw).

    I am now following your blog be scared. :D

    I haven't written a review that long before, so I thought it might be a bit too personal :P

    Thanks for the blogroll, I too have followed your blog since long times ago in my blog feed :) Still, I'm not confident enough to write for other blogs right now, especially your blog since your content concentrates on news. Imo, you want a writer that can spreads positive vibe with clear enthusiasm written in each sentence, like how you write. I'm not there yet :)

    I thought it was a good read, it's a blog not an article much better with writing personal imo. Much more fun that way too :P Like you forgetting to sleep to play vn's, we all done it lol.
