  1. It's very simple, solidbatman crossed the International Date Line. He went from the States on third day evening and arrived to New Zealand on fifth day in the morning. I even checked out a possible flight that is. Air New Zealand flight NZ3 leaving Los Angeles (LAX) 8:00 pm Jan 1 and arriving at Auckland (AKL) in New Zealand at 6:00 am Jan 3.
  2. Welcome to fuwanovel!
  3. Welcome to fuwanovel then. Happy new year, I hope you'll come to like this place!
  4. Guess skipping school in 8th grade and going on a self-trip to Stockholm (500 km away) counts as irresponsible. I also didn't answer on the mobile and was reported missing. I was deeply depressed and alone and just wanted to get away, I had to beg my parents for money to the return ticket.
  5. Welcome to the forum! You are lucky being Chinese, quite a few VNs are translated just to Chinese well not that it matters to me as I can read Japanese.
  6. My fondest memory... it's really hard to pick one but Nayuki route in Kanon really got to my heart. Maybe it was because it was the first vn-route of that calibre I read. If I had read it today it mightn't have given me the same impact as I've read numerous tear inducing routes like Mayuri route in Flyable Heart and Nanagi route in Aete mushisuru kimi to no mirai. These routes also dealt with some pretty interesting psychological aspects/dilemmas and would probably be considered more memorable, but for me Nayuki-route opened my eyes for that kind of quality in a vn thus I nominate it for fondest vn memory.
  7. Welcome to fuwanovel! It's not like I think you'll enjoy your stay here, don't misunderstand me please.
  8. My new year's resolutions: 1. Managing my studies, that is finishing the math and getting my Bachelor's degree this summer 2. Trying not to skip meals 3. Keeping my budget 4. Keeping my apartment more tidy than last year and making it homely with some more posters and manga
  9. Nice to see you here on the forum Dragoon! I wish you a thousand yuri-pictures for 2014.
  10. Welcome to fuwanovel! Hope you enjoy your stay here.
  11. Well it can be that the data is saved in some weird encoding. The two major ones for vns are UTF8 and shift-jis, this site may be to your help if you want to test encodings. For me that text looks like misinterpreted encoding. I'd recommend opening the file in a hex-editor to identify the text encoding.
  12. Welcome to fuwanovel! Pro-wrestling? Hm... I actually think I've seen one vn title circulating about that, however I remember it was quite old and really didn't have any story worth mentioning. There's a tag for combat sports in vndb apparently.
  13. Let's see here this is not translated but didn't contain a single school day or uniform. If you have to stick to translated ones I guess suika is the only one coming to mind, there's probably more titles I've forgotten.
  14. Hello Silica and welcome to fuwanovel! Here we share our love for VNs and I should also add that I love vocaloid music. Hope you'll find your stay here pleasant.
  15. Welcome to fuwanovel! And a late Merry Christmas from me.
  16. Well let's see here now... ever17, flyable heart, kanon, little busters, aete mushisuru kimi to no mirai, kana imouto those, made me cry at some point I remember.
  17. You could get the /h code if you get it running under ith, there's an option in ith to copy the /h code to clipboard. I got hoshimemo running under latest ith (that is version 3.0).
  18. It works if you enter manual /h code for the original title it's /HS8@2B056:user32.dll If you want me to get the /h code for eternal heart, I want a good torrent for it.
  19. With VNR it's so that the first person reading the title gets the task to choose the right hook-settings. If he sets them wrong you can still change them I think on menu->text settings. VNR is build upon ith.
  20. The last few years, I've returned and visited my family over Christmas, quite a few miles away. It used to involve tons of presents, sweets, christmas trees and such, but there aren't any children any more among my relatives. Now it's just christmas dinner and chit-chat with the nearest family.
  21. Welcome to this forum! I don't think you're lost, with the fact that you've read G senjou and LB. Have a pleasant stay at your new home, and marry christmas, or if you spend it yourself merry single hell.
  22. Yeah and pray for a loli-cious 2014
