any reason to skip anything in character routes? Aren't they all different?
Anyway, i guess it should work then. Just enable the skip read text in options and it should work properly. Thanks!
-
Ok, as suspected then, thanks!
One more thing. I heard something about the skip read text feature being troublesome. I'm nearing the end of this path, so i'd love to know what i should do if i need to do something for the skip read text to work properly for when i start out with the next route.

How do i know when i'm in a heroine route in this game? Is it like key games and such where days stop counting and you get the heroine on the screen when the chapter starts? I'm currently at the training camp phase and the focus is pretty heavy on Ashuo, which is the one im going for now, but things are pretty unrequited still, so i'm unsure if this is the heroine route now or still the common path towards it.

Fonts are acting weird in the game now for some reason. Had it running in the background for an hour or so and alt tabbed to fullscreen and it looks like this regardless which font i use now:
-
Staircase custom font.
-
Is there a font that is recommended above all else in this game? Having a bit trouble getting it right with the text.
-
Thanks. Wouldn't be a dealbreaker regardless since i enjoy this vn, and for some reason i find his sister pretty charming I just don't like when vn's do things the vn's i mentioned did.
-
This won't turn into another of those VN's with heroine paths that ends up being a complete waste of time will it?`Little busters, Rewrite and to a lesser degree, G-Senjou made me pretty damn irritated when the final routes just threw away everything. What was the point of even doing those routes? I really enjoy reading this VN thus far, but it's giving off some weird vibes. Star obsessed mysterious girl, she saying she wants to rid you of your nightmares, Ludicrous restaurant with a star themed menu, a heroine with a star accessory in her hair. If this ends with everything being a dream or it being a fake place and nothing really happened apart from Mare, i wouldn't be surprised.
I much prefer when each heroine was a perfectly viable end even if it wasn't the "correct" end.

Well, this was certainly a downer. Getting this crash each time i try to pass this dialogue. Is this a known error?
Make sure you have everything from this page d/l'd and installed correctly (if you haven't already) - you might have a out-of-date TL.

1. Install official game bugfix
2. Install Complete English Patch 1.0
3. Install English patch update 1.2Thanks, worked brilliantly. Although i don't know if it was the complete english patch or the bugfix that fixed my problem. I have no idea if the bugfix was even installed since i don't understand a thing it says

Ok, then it's definitely no point waiting. But i've already decided to finish this VN now!
Ohh, and i asked before. Is the options and such untranslated? It's only the main menu and in game text that's in English here, and all options are in Japanese.
-
Thanks for the heads up. Would be rotten if it was true.
-
Ok, thanks for the clarification. I don't know anything about Mare, but as for what i see in the start, it's the person the main character is looking for so i guess i didn't want anything anticlimactic when i know the continuation is being translated atm. True route unlocking after the rest of the heroines in the end is nothing new to the genre.
I managed to spoil something though. Typical search where the first thing you see is a major spoiler. It was pretty disgusting though, mare raping the MC. Can't say i like the girl after reading that, but we'll see where the VN heads
-
Well, sounds like i'm better off putting it on hold until the eternal heart has been translated. I don't know anything about it, but i know now that it expands on the routes. Sounds like this ends with a cliffhanger or something thats bad enough to piss people off. If it wasn't a 30+ hour game i wouldn't care, but investing so much time and getting some unfulfilling cliffhanger is not appealing.
Guess i'll try Majikoi instead. At least both games are translated.
-
Ok, thanks. Doesn't sound like something to look forward too though the way you guys talk about it but i'll go ahead and play this.
This is a bit off topic, but is the menu untranslated or something wrong with my game and patch?
-
His post wasn't properly quoted for some reason :S
Fixed for you
Wait what? The one they lay out in the beginning as the main heroine is the only one without a route? What on earth is this?
-
I'll give this a try. thanks! I just hope the drama doesn't feel as forced as implied here seeing as that's bad storytelling.
As said, i don't really mind drama, i just mentioned earlier the type of drama i don't want to read right now
Personally, I'd say Ren's list is fairly accurate, but perhaps tinged with a negative mindset. (though it's true that Aoi is a bitch )
Identity, self-confidence, insecurity, unrequited love. These are the stronger dramatic traits throughout the stories - to lesser/greater extents. But the cast is (subjectivly) likable and normally behave in down-to-earth fashions - they just trip and fall sometimes, like anyone.
Hope this doesn't mean the protagonist keep desperately clinging to girls who aren't interested until he prevails in the end. That would be a pathetic read.Anyway, as i said, this VN is worth a short at least. -
Well, that sounds like quite the handful. Are they as unlikable as that sounds? and how is the ending? as i said, i want to read something happy for once and not someting turns into nakige/utsuge in the "true ending" although i like nakige if it ends good, ohh or harem endings. Indecisive endings such as those are utter garbage and i'd ignore this game at once if it ends harem/slice of life style.
-
It all depends on the nature of the drama i guess. Instead of me simply selecting something else to play, can you please explain in a as spoiler free fashion what type of drama is included here? Love triangles and such is the type of drama i hate the most, well man-female-man triangles. But i wouldn't call it kittens and rainbows if that was included
-
So this is a really happy game right? I thought i'd try something different this time. I've only played Key VN's, Eden* (still recovering from this one) and G-sejnou so i thought i'd try something that is relaxing and not chock full of drama.
-
Thanks for the clarifications. What you say certainly makes sense, i guess i didn't see the whole picture, thanks!
It was still sad to see how she wasn't her lively self anymore :/ i didn't initially like Haru, but grew to like her quite a bit. Wish they'd show us the characters together in a proper CG at the end, was kind of lame how it was ended. If 8 years older Haru was too much to show then they could have cut the sentence by 4 years or something where it wouldn't matter, and people would be happier for it.

Was no sex with Iwai, do not overthink that.
I'm an classical overthinker, i won't deny it, but this scenario isn't really far fetched. She's pretty damn ambiguous and explaining in a round about way instead of being direct.
"he pays the little one a good amount of attention as well"
"you're the only one for me, always been and always will be"
So you see, this can be intepreted in different ways. She might mean she didn't do anything with the guy, and it might also mean that she some kind of relationship with this guy, but decided that Kyouske was the only one for her, just not during the time of her pregnancy since she was sure whose child it was. Don't forget Iwai's grandpa was pretty into them marrying, and this guy didn't have any other girlfriend during the time, and what makes a guy stop caring about other women? I'd certainly wish for her to have been more direct about the nature of her stay in his house.
I've always been this way with ntr-ish scenarios, which is why i avoid them at all costs, because my mind goes into overdrive in a not so good way.
-
Well, they were gunning for the feeling at least, otherwise they wouldn't introduce this guy so abruptly and rather have her live with some heroine in the story. You can only imagine what she'd do to thank this guy for all he's done for her and her daughter or for emotional support during hard times. 8 years is a long time.
-
Well, after the ntr red flag (Iwai) showed up i had to check it up on upcoming events, and while i didn't spoil too much it seems like Haru has been living with him for 8 damn years. Does this end with ntr? or basic cheating? ntr is absolutely the worst shit i read or watch, i just can't stand it. Putting this VN on hold until i know for sure
''Hoshizora no Memoria'' is it worth reading

I'm a completionist, so i'll complete each and every route! But obviously i'm not going to read the entire VN each time, so i hope the autoskip and transition to heroine route won't cause any problems. I've only done one path and i'm still not sure when the route actually started. Stop the skip after last choice might be a way though.
