Just finished Nana's route. That was really fucked up to be honest.. Though the bad end was kind of dragging a bit, it was a good read!

Damn.. The beginning of this vn is pretty shit isn't it? Characters are unoriginal and the main character has the personality of a dense brick. When it's serious then it's really interesting, but it keeps doing shit you see in bad harem animes and the likes. Well, i hope this won't last for too long.
Main question: The walkthrough doesn't really explain how to handle the endings for the heroines on the pictures. Does it go into a route at the end or do i have to fine pick a point to save to proceed with the story so that i don't lose all my progress?
Edit: Got it, i think. Routes are cut short with the others, hence the bad ending. Different question then. Is there a reason to do the other routes, or just extra fanservice?

The characters themselves aren't particularly hate-worthy, but they are often really boring and shallow. The writing that surrounds them is often much more insipid and cringe-worthy than your average moege/charage.

Well, I was TRYING to be as non-specific as possible while still answering the questions. Don't read Deep Blue's post if you want no insight into who the potential murder victims might be.

So.. I don't really like pointlessly depressing vn's that only serves to depress the viewer. I saw the walkthrough as i always use walkthroughs for vn's and it was bad end on every damn heroine.. What on earth?! I mean, i don't mind if some routes turn to shit, but if every damn route turns bad or the true ending being terrible, then i won't even bother. Don't need specific spoilers, but more along the lines of if i should read this or not with what i said in mind.
Edit: I guess i missed the part that some heroines are bad ends in themselves. I'll check this one out. Looks interesting.

tl;dr: It's the worst thing ever made, stay away. I made it my main purpose in life to save people from this Visual Novel.
But are there routes with likable heroines? I guess i don't know enough about Ayaka, Sonya, Yuika (other than the suspected hidden/suppressed resentment), Kisaya. I mean, if the heroines turn out to be absolute cunts, then i won't give a crap about their routes. I don't mind spoilers as long as the end result isn't spoiled.

BaseSon is just... yeah, they put the the least amount of effort necessary into everything they do, it seems. If you felt so strongly about what goes on in the routes, I'd like to see your reaction to a real nakige or utsuge. Well, I'm mostly talking out of my ass because I quit this game pretty early in, but I can't imagine BaseSon delivering any particularly strong emotional moments.
But real nakige is supposed to have a happy ending right? Isn't nakige with depressing endings really mislabled utsuge? I haven't been into VN for too long, but that was my impression.
The heroines and side characters were starting to really piss me off so i read up a bit before spending too much time with this VN, and i'm sure this is only the icing on the cake.
Is this really as bad as it seems? Chasing a lesbian girl which has her way with another girl before it's your turn? And not to mention the lesbian undertones in general for most heroines... Childhood friend which seems lovely, but turns into a right bitch towards you exclusively when she's drinking? Might be something that rears it's ugly head during her route, or just some comic relief i don't know. -10 points for that heroine, and i liked that airhead initially. Sister which is faking being your sister and you're the only person not knowing about it? Who writes this crap? Ohh, and that guy was really pissing me off. Holy crap what an relentlessly annoying character. I'm sure he's helpful in some heroine route to balance it out though, but i never got that far
So, are there any redeeming qualities here? Some routes that aren't chock full of bullshit? I don't mind drama, but it must be the right kind of drama. Faking sister, potentially vile childhood friend, lesbian heroine... Those are completely uninteresting...

Thoughts on routes
Elis - Lovable heroine from start to the end. Really like her route, i shouldn't have done her route first though. If i were to nitpick, i wish they'd flesh out the end of the route a tiny bit more. She's around you all the time, so i feel sad about the neglecting i'm forced to do in the other routes
Saya - Loved this route as well. It had a bittersweet ending that was more on the happy side. I also would have liked a bit more fleshed out ending here as well. Like did her family completely abandon her permanently even after Hiroki becomes a famous artist? I'm sure a family such as that values either prestige or money.
Tomoko - Was an ok route. But the romance buildup was pretty damn weak. Sudden realization, drawing a picture and both suddenly deeply in love and have sex 5 minutes later... And what on earth was up with that H-scene? She has a serious condition where an attack caused by excitement or stress might kill her, and he starts having sex with her?! wait with that until after surgery you nitwits
Kana - what a repulsive creature. I don't even want to do her route. I don't mind lolicons, but this cockroack is disgusting.
Miami - Well, the romance wasn't there at all. One sided crush until the end, yet again. I'd like for the MC to at least be a bit more honest in his thoughts when he keeps desperately keeps trying to meet her, but it was a last minute realization and confession yet again, 3 months after that Christmas event.. Ridiculous... And Elis had a much too big presence overall in the route, much like Tomoko's route. VN makes me wonder if Elis is the intended heroine as she's always the obsticle during the routes. Kiri always stays put. And that H-scene... Writers must suffer from some brain damage.

Not gotten to the routes yet, if there are routes after the walkthrough. But holy crap what a stain of shit the MC is, absolutely worthless.
Kept going on and on and on and on about how he hated Yanagi for the betrayal, and how he more or less traumatized him to the point where he couldn't put feelings to hit art anymore. And that bile Yanagi shows up, and the MC buckles at once and starts being super friendly and doesn't even want apologies. Yet he apologises and then he starts hitting on Kiri... I'm not on her route, but holy shit what a shameless person Yanagi turned out to be.. He deserves nothing less than a real beating and the coldest of shoulders.

They are teasing him and it's just for comedy purposes, this is after all a visual novel
don't think too hard about certain things. The same goes when his duralumin case opens up in the middle of the classroom and everyone starts to act like he was a creep when everybody knew that it was her sister clothes but then again they cannot acknowledge that because she is "dead" and also is more funny that way.
Agree her sister can be cannon to as an ending but I don't like incest even if it's not blood related so I just avoid it.
The translation some times is not very accurate (talking about everything except masaomi and eri) but then again is just pure nukige so it doesnt matter there is no real plot there.

Well, just finished it. Overall it was a great Vn with issues of course, and i loved the characters.
Ayaka > Ritsuko > Chiho> Rise
Ayaka personality, Ritsuko looks. Definitely prefer a great personality. The nude photoshoo was a bit out of character tbh.. She was much too modest and possessive after her route started properly to want something like that. Was a bit weird, but ahh well...
What was badly done was that Rise and Chiho didn't really care about you dating someone else during Ritsuko and Ayaka route. I'd at least expect Chiho to get overly jealous.. Ohh and it would be really anticlimactic with all that memory crap during the last bit of the common route if you chose Ayaka and Ritsuko first since none of that mattered there. It would be great if they spent at least a minimum of time to get that done regardless what route you chose.

Ayaka route seems to be some shitty m route.. Submissive shit that the MC is "i want to help Ayaka so i'll pose nude for the entire school" dumbest thing i've read in a while. I'd refuse the protoshoot if i had the choice. Not being from japan it's pretty annoying watching males being treated like toys and/or utter trash, and happily submit to it.
Gotta love Japanese culture. Males can't enter girls rooms, can't even join in on activities, can't even hold a thought about females without being thoroughly scolded for it (What the heck is the mc even doing at this school? he just ended up as some recluse as he can't do shit legally) yet females can enter males rooms and can even take nude pictures of males, no problemos (it's not sexual after all)... Wonder how it would be if the model gender was reversed... If i only saw this here i wouldn't think too much about it, but it's pretty much everywhere in anime/manga/vn so i'm sure there is some truth to it.
I'm not some equality fighter, but i'll be honest and say this bullshit is tiring. I guess it's the fact that this mc and many mc's before and after him happily does everything regardless of how deprived it is is what annoys me. No backbone whatsoever outside "protecting someone".

Don't misunderstand me. I liked this vn as a whole. Nice and soothing in it's own way. And i was too hasty with the Marika judgement. True, she didn't get the punishment she deserved, but she made up for it plenty at the church. Kiss aside.
And Rise explained exactly what i was thinking during her route. She said she was afraid of being stuck between two love interests. Namely you and Chien, so she was glad you were both one and the same. It sure took the easy way out of that one. I'm sure i'm not the only one who's thought about it.

This is the most warped shit i've read in a long time. Japanese trash writers, indeed. Marika falsifying rape charges and faces absolutely ZERO consequences for it. Everyone just keeps pandering to her pathetic feelings (buhu, female character sad, can't have that now can we). How she only thought about herself afterwards and her half arsed apology that was directed at everybody, when there was really one person she should apologize to above all else didn't make it any better. While i don't hate the character, i hate the way the scenario was written. Absolute dogshit.
Rise is also giving me a bad vibe. She's seriosuly leading MC on while trying to open the school in hopes of meeting her first love. Well, little does she know that MC is that person, but that is completely besides the point. Writers probably didn't think that part through though. I mean, how trashy wouldn't she seem at this point if it was someone else and she jumped ship just like that.
Hoping for a satisfactory reunion-ish scene when it's revealed. That part of the story has been very interesting! Hope after the realization that it's not anticlimactic.

Does the common route at any point get interesting? such a drag as it is now, and it's so very very long. Wishy washy male fanaties of rescuing girls, and the protagonist is a dense brick. Well, perhaps not that dense, but the typical common route focus on just being friends until some trigger point where he's suddenly deeply in love with the chosen heroine. I'm at chapter 7 now, and tbh i'd like to see more accidental or not accidental perverse scenes since they most certainly do make stuff more interesting, but it's all about what girls do to the guy.. And i'm sure more will agree that a common route with only that would be quite boring. Only other bit was when he went into the classroom when the girls were changing. Hope they don't keep everything under lock and key until you're in the heroine routes.

Having some severe stuttering in this vn for some reason. Is it a known issue with a easy fix?
Man.. Took me by surprise when this turned into the typical crap that is the absolute worst part of Japanese entertainment. Super abusive females who'll just treat the main character as a toy. And of course a the main character is a spineless idiot who'll do every damn thing that is asked of him, even if it's just abusive. I swear, in stories like these, if a female suddenly took of your boxer and started sucking you off without your consent, it would just be laughed off, or the main character getting all the blame for it.. You know, hentai, rapist etcetc. because you know... girls should be allowed to do whatever they want without any consequence for anything. I'll stick with it for a while longer, but if this is all there is to the main story then i'll throw the vn as far as i can, such stories pisses me off.

Kinda the opposite for me, really. I'm easy to please so I didn't mind that the setting was small or the sexualization, but the ending really pissed me off.
I could accept a bittersweet ending, hell, I wouldn't have minded "she magically comes to life"
too much either if they did it right, but freaking "it was all a dream"? Really?Was going to read this as i thought it was a fairly happy vn. I have it installed and stumbled upon the fact that the ending is a wtf moment... Not a happy one.. So, is this a romantic vn with a bad separation at the end? I hate those. I don't mind the spoiler. If it's not as bad as it seems then i'll just read it.

It's not amazing, but it's still worth going through - and the gameplay will definitely keep you busy. I can think of a lot worse titles out there.
Bleh, many people say that - but I just didn't see it. I found it to be as unfunny as it could possibly get. I found its humor stupid at best, obnoxious at worst. (With a some exceptions, of course - there was still a handful of funny parts)
I actually liked Little Busters humor compared to it. Different strokes for for different folks and all that~
Is the gameplay optional? Can't say i'm in the mood for playing forced gameplay when reading a VN. Don't you have to redo all the gameplay scenes for each heroine as well?
I guess it's OK if it's forced and not overly difficult. If i have to retry 10 times to finish something then it would definitely be a dealbreaker.

I have a guilty pleasure with liking Chihaya - not her route per se - but I have a soft spot in my heart for dumb-as-a-stump girls (just like Yumina, haha).

Kenichi is always talking to his sister and everyone is "ignoring" her because of the prohibition or penalty she has but they still acknowledge her presence, for example in many parts of the novel isono or touka said "lets leave food for the fairy" or things like that, also she is always following kenichi because she can do whatever she want but she is like dead to everyone.
You need to read the fandisk (only the masaomi's route) and then you will understand a lot about why he acts that way and if he is evil or not, and the translation is not bad, the other routes are machine translated but that one is not.
And yes natsumi is the true route, the other routes are just there for fanservice (eroge) and nothing more

I disliked the shounen Chihaya chapter. Liked Akane's as well.
I didn't really dislike Kotori's chapter though, but i didn't like the open ending. Well, moon revealed that they got married at some point though. I do wonder what's the point of Harvest Fiesta seeing as Moon and Terra slaughterd those endings.

One of my biggest gripe was the different directions each writer took. To be really honest, it was fairly amateurish for a company to release the VN in such a condition.

The fandisc is mostly fluff and h-scenes, which are all machine TL'd by someone who wasn't a part of the original TL team that did Houzuki's route. The only route that got a real translation was Houzuki's, and that is the only one worth reading if you're looking for anything else but fap fodder, since the text is almost entirely unintelligible in all the others (I gave up when I had to reread each line several times and started getting a headache as a result). There's one h-scene in there that make you go, "What the actual fuck?! Why was this put in here?! Why would you do this to me and the story and that character?", so yeah, in a way it kinda ruins how you view one of the characters. Don't do what I did, and just ignore everything that isn't Houzuki's route. It's actually quite good, and really fleshes out his character and provides much needed backstory.
Also...you do realize that Eri is the girl that Houzuki shoots in the face in the very beginning, right? She's in the story for all of one minute.

I of course meant his sister. But i guess when you talk about the character ruining h-scene you mean mana, sachi and kenichi? doesn't matter if you spoil anyway since i'll probably won't read it if it's as badly translated as you say.
