Everyone that disagrees with me? not at all, just those who are perverts, and as you can see lot of them are not denying it, and some are even calling themselves perverts.

But why would we restrain our self from posting our opinion and let the only other opinion be heard. Especially if you know that you are right. How can I respect perverts that just want porn, 2D porn out of all, inside a work that is not porn, that is just impossible for me.

Not at all, 3's are for people who don't hate H-scenes but aren't here for them. I am expecting something like this: Group 1-35% Group 2-20% Group 3-45% I don't think that uniting is possible as people from group 1 and 2 hate each other, one are here only for porn while other hate porn, the best option is to ignore each other, but the only way to do that is to make it clear who stands where.

I know title doesn't say much so I'll explain my idea now. If you are on fuwa for some time you are probably aware of a "3 groups" problem we have around here. I am talking about 3 groups of people who are around here for completely different reasons and who often get into unpleasant discussions. So I tough we could solve this and make a Fuwa far more plesent for everyone if we ware instead of being somewhat anonymous made it possible to label everyone with the group s/he belongs and come to agreement of generally ignoring people from other groups. It should be something visible so we can easily tell who belongs in witch group it could be that we make an option to choose from 3 groups and our name could be colored with the color of that group, or it could simply be written under the avatar in witch of the 3 groups we belong. We could also make an agreement to not post in thread that ware made by people of different groups, and if we like that thread we simply make a same thread for people of our group. I think that this could bring back a friendliness that Fuwa once had, and I think that those days we are big enough for this. I mean VNs are a big media to big for a single forum, but as it would be unreasonable to ask to separate a forum into 3 forums this is a second option. As for new members they could choose their group when they are registrating or they could be asked to choose one in a time period of 1 week after a registration in case they are not sure in witch group they belong. As for moderators, well we could make exception that moderators aren't under the 3 groups rule when they do moderators stuff. True it would still be better if each of a groups had at least 1 moderator in it then we could make so that moderator that belongs in a group is in charge for judging people from that group. Like I said this way we could make it clear who's on witch side, who is friend and who enemy and that way bring back friendliness to fuwa. So what do you all think? PS: just in case you are not sure about witch 3 groups I am talking (witch is very unlikely) here is it: 1. Perverts who are into VNs only for porn. 2. People who like stories and hate H-scenes. 3. Those in between.

No they do add them, most of the times they aren't even illustrated by the same artist and written by the same writer, not to mention that it is just obvious in most VNs that H-scenes aren't part of the story/aren't meant to be there and are forcebly added there. You know that this is a fact, you just deny it because like I said, perverts tent to ignore the facts and defend their porn no meter what. Those are all PC VNs companies and in Japan it's consoles games that get most attention, witch most of VNs that get good sales eventually go where they don't need H-scenes. I newer said that H-scenes don't give money to companies or that there is no demand for it, there are lot of perverts so there is a demand and that is a way for companies to get insurance that even if people don't like the story there will always still be pervert who buy just for H--scenes. No not most of VNs players, just the decent ones who are not perverts. Well that is for a west in Japan there is many VNs that don't have H-scenes so that's a whole different story. And once you already get into VNs you can't just quit because you found out about H-scenes it is not that simple, don't pretend you don't understand that. True I did make a mistake it's not that you don't know it's just that you don't want to accept the truth.

It's also natural to go naked because you are born naked, to eat raw meat, to live in caves, to kill other males when they enter your territory, to have sex by raping, for physically stronger male to take anything he wants, to resolve deputes by fights, cause that is all nature, but we are humans we have intelligence and we can use it to not do things the way our instincts tell us to.

No it's not accurate to say that main people who buy vn's in Japan want h-content. as if that ware a case we wouldn't have so many VNs without them. And yes they do ruin both story and characters, it's just that perverts don't seem to care for that as long as they get their fap material. And you are most obviously a pervert just like you say but don't label the rest of us with you. So what you are saying that all of us who hate H-scenes and acknowledge that they ruin VNs and who hate ecchi content shouldn't a part of otaku culture? Otaku culture is not about perverted things, sure there is many pendering to perverts cause it gets money but it most definitely is not all about that. Game of thrones has some nudity it's can't be compared with porn like H-scenes from VNs. If it had actual porn it wouldn't be nowhere near as popular I guarantee it. That is a very bad logic there, you can't call a whole work a porn if it has 15-20 min of porn scenes in 50h+ story (that are only there for better sales to begin with), and it is an insult to our community as what you are saying is that we all here are perverts gathering to talk about porn. Visual novel with porn make you look bad because porn is for perverts, and people who aren't perverts will most probably stay away from it unless they somehow get into VNs before finding out about them. PS: I newer stop being amazed at seeing how perverts can ignore all the obvious facts and defend porn with everything they have.

I think that in short run little companies that don't have a a big budget and aren't that popular can lower a chases of failure (business/money failure not a quality failure) by adding H-scenes as even if people don't like it there will always be those who will buy them just for H-scenes. In a long run whoever they destroy them self, and they even lower a popularity of VNs that don't have H-scenes by being known as hentai-games. I mean just how many people would newer even consider giving a VNs a chance after seeing or hearing about H-scenes, I myself if I had known about them before I stared reading VNs I would probably newer even get close to VNs. So yes it's an easy way to earn some fast/easy money witch is the only purpose of H-scenes to begin with but in long run it has an extremely negative impact. I would say that you are the one who doesn't understand those things, by pointing out how eroge are a center of a VNs as a medium you just show how little knowledge you in fact have about a topic.

There was a similar request a week ego, so I am just gonna copy-paste my post from there (True not all of those titles have romance): Eien no Aselia -The Spirit of Eternity Sword- English version has no H-scenes. Amaranto, Aoishiro, Steins;Gate, Ever17 -the out of infinity- are all great VNs without H-scenes. Kono Oozora ni, Tsubasa wo Hirogete has a version that doesn't have H-scenes. Katawa Shoujo and Coμ - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku - have an options to turn off H-scenes. So does Cross†Channel true personaly I didn't like this one at all and even true you can turn off H-scenes it's still full of sex talk (Like most of the time it's the only thing going on). Like already mentioned Rewrite and Little busters have no H-scenes, as well as Cleaned true I haven't read that one. There's also Remember11 -the age of infinity- true again this one I personally didn't like much. As for others that I haven't read myself yet but I plan to read and know that have no H-scenes there are Never7 -the end of infinity-, Chaos;Head, Princess Nightmare, Dengeki Stryker (One of it's versions at least), Planetarian ~Chiisana Hoshi no Yume~, Air (Last eng released version), Corpse Party BloodCovered, Corpse Party: Book of Shadows, I/O There are also Ar Tonelico ~Sekai no Owari de Utai Tsuzukeru Shoujo~ and Ar Tonelico II ~Sekai ni Hibiku Shoujo Tachi no Metafalica~ true it's up for debate if it's more of a VN with gameplay or JRPG with VN elements and I haven't play/read it myself to judge. There is also Dangan Ronpa Kibou no Gakuen to Zetsubou no Koukousei and BlazBlue trilogy true again I personally didn't like them much. Oh and yea I almost forgot newly released Killer Queen also has an option to turn of H-scenes.

Be it VNs or Anime I always thought that longer is better as something objective as to me it's only normal that if you like something you want it to last as long as possible, also longer also gives more time for deeper character development more complex stories it gives you more time to connect with characters, etc. Generally VN or Anime being longer to me was always something positive and I couldn't see it as not positive and I didn't think that there would be anyone who would dressage. But lately I saw some post saying how something is shorter implying how that is a positive point. So I am just interested to see how many people out there thinks so too.

Well because their characters are strong their feelings pure so even if time I can interact with them is limited feelings toward them last forever. But when it comes to 3D, well just like all others feelings it's something that doesn't last because they are not true pure feelings to begin with but they are delusions caused by something other and are limited. Sorry if I insulted you, I'll try beaning i little more precise, it is not really 3D women personalities that disgusts me but more of a 3D humans personalities, it has noting to do with gender or individuals. I am not saying that it can't work out I am saying that it's not true love. I wanted to say Katawa Shoujo and Amarante but I see they are both on your list already.

I do that often, mostly ether on some comedic scene that I want to laugh at again or some romantic scene that I want to see again for a feelings. For example I gone back in that scene with a box in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun like 5 times and every time I couldn't stop laughing to tears, no wonder it took me nearly 12h to watch 12 20 min long episodes. Then there is Naruto and naruhina scenes, I watched every naruhina moment at least twice, hell the biggest reason I watched it was for those moments. And well there is a lot of other times, basically all scenes that I find really funny or really romantic I watch twice.

I disagree on this part, it is true that in older anime there ware more of action genre and now there is more of a romance genre, but romance genre is most definitely not about "boobs, panties, sex, and lewd jokes" or to summarize it up ecchi genre witch was present in older anime too. There might be a little more of it now days but generally it's not really so much of anime thing as much of media as a whole, I mean in recent years they are adding sex in anything. But like Tiago said this is a genre meter witch is generally off-topic. And just to make it clear I newer said that all of older anime or most of older anime are not anime-like I just said that there is a lot of older anime that I find to be not very anime-like, and off course there is some of newer stuff that I also find not very much anime-like. One such example would be psycho-pass that I just finished watching.

Rather then plot I am talking more about a way of storytelling, characters, way how everything is done. Sure graphic/art style is an easiest way to say that something doesn't look anime-like but before that I am thinking about other characteristics that Anime have and most other media don't. Like for examples characters in anime usually have more dept to them and are shown more like persons then just like characters in a story like in live action movie, the way to explain it better is, well you know how live action shows concentrate on telling you a story and not so much on characters from a story, they usually just show you what is happening but rarely explains you why did witch character do what, how is he like, what he thought etc. Then there is an Anime culture, you surly noticed that culture in anime tend to be rather different from culture in 3D word, sure some could say that's because anime come from Japan and Japanese culture is different from western culture, but then again anime culture is very different then real Japanese culture too, at least as much as western culture is different from Japanese culture is Japanese culture different from anime culture, but probably that difference is even bigger. Those things as well as many others are an important part of anime and anime without them doesn't fell very anime-like, sure as long as it has anime-like art style you could tell that it's from Japan but that doesn't mean that it's anime-like. Sure they still tend to be even further away from western cartoons then anime, but they can often be very close to live action series/movies to the point that if they weren't animated they would fit in with Hollywood movies/series perfectly. Some would say that animation is what makes anime anime but not me, I think that there is much more then animation that makes anime, and so I say that anime that don't have those things are not very much anime-like. Off course there is also a meter of degree of just how much does some anime stray from being anime so there are anime that don't fell much like anime and those that don't fell like anime at all, and things in between. Some random examples from top of my head would be Vampire Hunter D (2000) and Street Fighter II: The Movie. To create a full list I would need go true my list and to separate all titles into degrees of just how much are they not anime-like. And that would take time witch I don't have at a moment, I could probably do it in next few days if you are really interested to hear out my opinion of exactly with of anime that I watch I don't consider to be anime-like, why, and to what degree.

Well I think that a lot of old Anime aren't much Anime-like, and that their stories and characters feel more like stuff for live-action movies/series. I don't won't to specific anything so I can avoid the wrath of old-school anime fans and keep this thread civil but that is how I feel.

I would have a lot of things to say on a second part of your post but I will restrain myself from it because it is moving exactly like that 2D VS 3D topic that we once had and I don't won't to repeat that discussion so I am just gonna say that most probably not. As for last part well I find it funny because you ware doing the exact same thing that you tell me not to, just replace unique opinion part with mainstream opinion. For me it's opposite It's feelings for 2D girls that last. I don't know maybe it's my experience from before I become otaku maybe it's my knowledge of psychology but I newer find 3D love to be real, there's always something other behind it. Ok I might got a bit too much fired up, I see you didn't mean anything bad. But like I said my case is completely opposite of yours, 3D life is the one I didn't/couldn't find any happiness in and I am sure I couldn't find any happiness in it no meter what as there is simply noting in it for me. But I did find my happiness in a 2D world. And I not fapping to 2d girls, I love them in a romantic sense not sexual, and in my opinion sex kills all romance and I am strongly against any kind of sex for many reasons, I am especially against 2D porn and I find it to be discrase for 2D world. I couldn't disagree more. There is noting wrong in being anti-social and surly that doesn't mean that you have to be depressed and/or miserable. In fact I lead a normal social life having friends and everything for most of my life and I was complicity bored most of the time no meter what I do I didn't find any satisfaction in normal every-day things. I was newer happier in my life and more satisfied then last 2 or so years from when I stopped wasting time hanging with people and started spending all my time enjoining Anime and VNs witch I actually enjoy doing and not just doing to kill a time from when I wake up till I go to sleep like all the social things I had been doing for all my life. It is complicate untrue that "2D women can never fill the void of human loneliness" in fact I would say that 3d women are the one that can't as there is no real love in 3D world unlike in 2D. If you find "imperfection" of 3D women to be their beauty that is your thing, I myself find it completely disgusting physically and I find especially disgusting their personalities. I think that you are miserable now that you lost your way and are wasting time with a empty shallow 3D world and that you would be far happier if you thrown worthless things like 3D friends away and come back to an anime side witch is far better then an boring 3D world. True it's your life you have all the right to waste it on 3D things if you want.

To me 2D girls are far more important then 3D girls (I don't even like 3D girls to begin with) and characters from VNs/Anime are far more important to me then 3D people, whoever I don't feel like playing multiple routes is cheating as it is happening in an alternative dimensions.
