  1. Yeah, it's a pretty small company as it is. They also work very hard to make their localization as smooth as possible. Even they themselves admit that their earlier work was crap and it took a long time to make up for it. Personally I think it's a pretty good company, they love vns and work very hard to bring them to English speaking players. They make more money on nukiges but all this money goes to the really big projects like Cartagra, Kara no Shoujo and so on.
  2. Mangagamer are planning to release Boku ga Tenshi ni Natta Wake?
  3. Glad you liked it. Did you get the route B 1.0 ending too?
  4. Yeah, that's what I meant. Yes, if 1.0 is already unlocked then you get the 1.0 ending.
  5. Well, there's not really winning here. It's hard to answer but in my opinion it's better to read them in the recommended order.
  6. If you get all the complete endings in all the routes then you can get to the end of route E. The only way to get a bad end in route E is if you make a wrong choice OR if you go back to the previous routes and get a wrong ending. My suggestion is get all the good endings in all routes then get the good ending in E and then go for 100% if you want. Or you could just use the walkthrough, lol.
  7. This is actually not a bad idea. I just think that they didn't use this idea as well as they could have. But even with (very) small gripe I/O is still one of the best visual novels out there. It's pretty much a kamige as far as sci-fi vns go. Although I expect many will hate it by the time they reach the end, lol.
  8. I felt the same way about it. Not just with I/O but any vn that has unlocked scenes. I'm not going to read the entire route again to get to those new scenes and by skipping I don't remember the context of the scenes and how they are connected. In I/O most of these scenes are simply not important, as long as you go by the recommended route order (use a walkthrough) there is no real point to get 100% of everything. Most of the extra scenes are additional dialogue lines that make it even longer or some sub-plot that you don't miss if it's not there. I think they did that so that those who aren't interested in getting 100% won't be forced to miss the important story related stuff. On the other hand it also feels like a wasted potential, they could have used this technique for some really clever story tricks. This speaking as someone who got 100% of everything in I/O.
  9. lol, obviously you're been playing to much of these types of games.
  10. The I call Killer Clowns From Mars as sci-fi too
  11. Personally I would put it under the horror category than sci-fi.
  12. It's not really that mindfucked lol.
  13. I think I/O will be right up your alley.
  14. First, I love you! Second, I wouldn't exactly say they are all ages. The stories are pretty mature and complex. And Root Double has its very dark moments.
  15. I think Phantasy Star 4 still holds up well today. It's like a lot of super famicom rpgs. As for Phantasy Star 2, this thing will bitch slap you and make you lick its shoes. Abandon all hope ye who enter without a walkthrough.
  16. FF7 is the one I will choose. While there are some others that are really great, especially FF6, in my opinion 7 was where the series climbed to the peak. The only place it went after that is down, lol. It is still fun to play over 10 years later, with fun gameplay and the darkest story in the series so it still holds strong. The localization has its problems but it's not going to keep you from having fun. Choosing which is the worst is actually harder, there are so many of them, lol.
  17. I was disappointed by the first TtT so I'm not planning to buy the sequel. But who knows, maybe your videos will change my mind.
  18. It's no different than uploading an entire gameplay playthrough of any other game. So I say upload everything. Btw, what's your youtube channel?
  19. What are you talking about? I don't remember R11 was nonsense.
