Don't continue reading if you don't want spoilers about Little Busters EX or the original Little Busters. So I just finished reading Sasami's route in Little Busters EX and this made me bring up a question I didn't ponder before. Do the characters in Little Busters actually ever date? Does all the trouble they go through in the individual routes amount to anything in the real world? We all know that everything that happens in LB happens in an alternative world, but I noticed that, in none of the routes does the game address what happens after the Refrain incident. We never know how the characters are doing in terms of relationships. That was until I read Sasami's route which is set after they recovered from the bus incident, Rikki even mentions the incident during the route. But during this time, Rikki is not dating anyone which means that Rikki and Rin never dated in the first place does it not? Otherwise he's just cheating on her, but I don't think that's plausible. Not only that, but Rikki ends up dating Sasami while he's trapped in her world, yet when he comes back, the story never really addresses if they remember the events or not and we're not sure if they're dating, even though they seem to hint that they do while they're burying the cat. Does this mean Sasami is the true route? Teeku Joking aside, this makes me wonder if all the routes happen in their own worlds, do the relationships never transpose into the real world? During Sasami's route, Rikki talks about how they were trapped in an alternative world after the bus incident, clearly remembering it, so it should be feasible that he remembers his relationship with Rin, yet he's going to end up dating Sasami. Though one can theorize that this only happens when they're trapped in an alternative world and they don't remember it when they're in the real world, but during the Refrain route they seem to recall the things that happened back in the alternative world when they're back. I think that the biggest problem comes mostly from the fact that the story is so incredibly vague when they return to the real world that we're basically left with a huge gaping plot hole that our imagination is supposed to fill in. What do you think? I think Key just doesn't know how to write a story.

Well, I'll share some of my conversations with some guys over the internet. 1. Conversation with guy A: Me : Hey dude, you're a hardcore gamer, right? What about VN? What VN games have you played so far? Guy A : VN? Whuzzat? Me : You don't know? VN is (blahblah....). Some of the games are xxxxxxxxxxxx. Guy A : Those games, huh? You should just said eroge and I would have listed the games I've played. Me : 2. Conversation with guy B: Guy B : Dude, you like reading, right? Then you don't play computer games? Me : I do play computer games, a lot of them even, though since I like a more leisure and laid back kind of game, I didn't play much of video games. Guy B : Then do you have any games I could copy? I'm so utterrly bored I could die. Me : No problem, but I've deleted most of my games. The remaining games are mostly VNs. Games like xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, which one would you want to copy? Guy B : You play such games, dude? Why don't you just go search for H anime? Me : Geh? 3. Conversation with guy C: Me : This week is the start of summer holiday, right? You have any plans to go out? Guy C : No, I'm in energy saving mode this week. Just want to laze around at my room. Me : Aren't you always in energy-saving mode? Then what would you actually do in your room? Just eat and then sleep and then eat and then sleep and then eat and then ---- Guy C : Hey, stop it! I'm not that lazy of a guy. I'm going to finish playing all games in my long list of RPGs. What about you then? Me : I'm not a high schooler anymore so holiday doesn't make any difference to me, but if you're asking about the games I played recently, most of them are VNs. Guy C : VN? Never heard the term before, what is that? Me : You don't know? VN is (blahblah....). Some of the games are xxxxxxxxxxxx. (I felt like having a de ja vu) Guy C : Those games, huh? You should just said eroge and I would have understood. Me : *mumbling* (Damn, this is really a de ja vu) And I still have some other similar conversations, but I always can't respond properly against "VN = eroge" argument. I know that not all VNs contains erotic scenes and this argument should be easily countered. But I'm not a VN expert and I've only played not so much VNs compared to all VNs available. And most of the time I check a VN on VNDB, its rating is 18+. So, should I really tell them that "VN ≠ Eroge"? And what is the best argument to prove this?

I'm thinking about doing this when LB!EX TL comes out... Have anyone else tried? How was it?

I'm curious what are the recommended shops, as a foreign customer, to buy digital downloads for Japanese-language eroge. My favored shop is currently DLsite English, but they don't carry all titles (even on the Japanese side). I have a couple titles I'm interested in that appear to be carried by a wide range of digital retailers. Potential considerations: 1) Ease of use for foreign customers (e.g., whether they accept foreign credit cards) 2) DRM presence and restrictiveness 3) Price 4) How much of a cut they're taking from Japanese developers 5) Availability of an English guide for using the shop (though I know enough Japanese to grope my way through the process if need be)

Hello xD I'm playing Konosora https://vndb.org/v9093 and I'm on Asa's route which is my first, after it I plan to go on Yoru's route but I found this other game, https://vndb.org/v10979 and now I want to play Hotaru's route. Here is my doubt, will have some spoiler if I play Hotaru after having played only two route in the first game? I need play the whole game before play the 2nd? Thank you in advance
