Man I've only just started to look into voice actors and it's crazy how sometimes your favourite characters are all voiced by the same person. Maybe that's a direct link? Not sure but heyo. Anyway- I have 2 favourite voice actors 1.) Rie Kugimiya She's hella cool and her voice is hella cute. She's been in tons of anime in things like bleach and ao no exorcist but I like her best as Taiga Aisaka from Toradora. I think she nailed that roll so well so woo! Go her! 2.) Ari Ozawa She's pretty new on the anime scene and hasn't been in too many anime just yet but I think she's going to go far! She recently got the lead role as Sakura Chiyo in Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun and she nailed that role pretty well also. I don't think I knew what I wanted for her voice to be like until I heard her and then I knew she had it perfect. So yeah, keep an eye on her!

I gotta say I'm not too fussed on the whole Magic Girl thing but there are a few good ones out there. It's been said a lot but Madoka Magica is a pretty good anime, I really liked it because it starts out all innocent and happy and everyone has their reasons for becoming a magic girl and their hopes and dreams and then thing just slowly get darker and darker. I LOVE IT! That aside though, if you prefer the genre of MAGIC BOY then totally go check out "Kore wa Zombie desu ka?" because that's full of laughs and "interesting" entertainment.

Hey guys, I have a question here: So this guy wakes up early and his mother comes in and makes this comment about him being awake without being woken up and then after that she says: しかも休み明けの初日で。……これは槍が降るな I get the first part, but the second part I'm a little confused about? Is she referring to the idiom about the spear falling form the sky? And if so is she using it to say this is really bad or trying to say that this is an incredibly rare occurrence? Thanks in advance guys!

Hey everyone! I've never really been part of a forum before nor have I really read VN's before until today. Anyone have any recommendations for me? I'm pretty much into everything bar nukige (yay I learnt a word!) and yaoi. Also in case you're looking for a translator/editor for any VNs then I've made my application here I'm looking to improve my Japanese anyway so why not help out a cool community while I'm at it!
