Meant how you managed to get it in the first place, from reading this i am half suspecting on purpose. As for protecting your slave-drive, encryption might be an idea although I personally dont see how it would prevent it from getting an infection and then spreading it to your unencrypted pc but it might protect the files on your drive. Would setting it up so that anything that tries to run from the drive has to ask explicit permission first be better, and then i mean anytime something wants to run from the drive. That or just not sticking it in any strange pc would work, but I'm guessing that's not a option.

Why try the hard way? Just find out were it has nested itself and nuke it. Anyhow how in the F words name did you even manage that, haven't had a virus/ malware/ adware on my pc for the past 8 years. well that's only if I don't count the time I accidentally installed google chrome and toolbar that came with some free ware, took about 30 min to remove so I'm not counting it.

Again i wish some one at baka tsuki would pick up the novels, and translate them. Unfortunately banner of the stars is one of those forgotten gems. altough i suppose there is always the chance with this series.

Crest/Banner of the stars, probably the show with the best characters i have ever watched. And by far my personal favourite. Even if the overall story is simple the character and world building are so good you don't even notice it. Patlabor, it like your under arrest but with robots. Gundam unicorn Birdy the mighty decode, not sure if this one qualifies though. Break blade Full metal panic Kiddy grade, it is not the best series but it is quite entertaining. Stratos 4, also has its fair amount of problems but its entertaining Solty rei, it has its problems but personally i always had fun watching it. Desert punk, again not sure if this qualifies but its the best damm comedy i have ever had the displeasure of watching. Why these, well i just dont like having anime in my reccomendations list that get recommended every single time, like cowboy bebob and outlaw star, trigun.

To me it looks more like a lahti or a british boys anti tank rifle. From the size in the opening i would say lahti but from the muzzle i would say boys.

dropped flip flappers, i can see the potential but its just no my kind of series. Drifters on the other hand is great, although im not a fan of the art style. Do have to wonder when we get introduced to the Vietnam guy teased in the first episode though.

Here is to hoping because these kind of series tend to have a lot of promise but fall on their face way to often for my taste.

These kind of series have a tendency to develop into a convoluted mess by the end because the manga tends to be overly dense. Its also what i meant by hit and miss. It all going to depend on how much time and effort went into the production.

Honestly speaking somehow this one managed to sneek under the radar for me until just before it aired. Was kind of worried since these kind of series are really hit and miss.
