  1. I believe in myself to continuously seek out and find hidden gems in Eroge for now and the future to come, and I can keep it up because I have several references I use/follow (certain people on Twitter) to find them and I'm not limited to only the haphazard selection of works that are being translated to English. I suspect that the issue of selection is going to change very soon given that two of these references, Conjueror and Garejei, are on-board the selection train and are committed to continuously bringing us the highest or the second highest scenario-ge to the best of their abilities. I don't believe in B/M/S/VNs/Eroge/[X media], but I believe in media, and that I'll gain "intellectual value" (which, really, I'm attaching to the work), aka. enjoyment, from works I can find myself when I have that er, "faith". I've just then had to realize; despite using other people as references to find these, the fact still remains that I'm coming across them myself, and that's what I should "believe in" when it comes to media. Just wait until Himawari and Subarashiki Hibi get released and then read/play those; they have a lot to tell/to teach and manage to do so in little words (which is the best IMO). I'm sure those two works will spur on more of these sorts of discussions and people will find more value in the discussions and then the media they surround as a result.
  2. I don't usually like vocaloid music but wow Kikuo's productions are very interesting.
  3. Right at this moment, I specifically when I watched the brilliant iyashikei Aria and suddenly became uplifted.. Ah, those were the good times of self-awareness where media had for once served me well. Good times, indeed.
  4. @Nashetania I have lol. Both 1 and 2, too. Also, I need to update my vndb (too lazy) so don't trust it. >_>
  5. The Shuffle series was quite honestly my childhood and one of my first ever Eroge besides TM stuff, so I'm kind of rattled by this news.. :/ I want to revisit the series at some point for the nostalgia, but now I want to do so also in commemoration to the creator and his wacky fun piece, Shuffle. It was silly/ridiculous and insane as a production, but to the me back then (and maybe even now somewhat) that's what was attractive about Eroge. Rest in peace.
  6. Listening to Catstep (lol) while I play games it's perfect.
  7. Oh boy, I absolutely love these threads. These are my favorite threads, because I get to go all out posting my favorite soundtracks from my favorite Visual Novels. <3 Power up! I'll be keeping these in spoilers just in-case someone decides that listening to any one of these BGMs is a spoiler for the experience of each of the respective games (in most cases I actually agree lol). Shiei no Sona-nyl. Forest. Himawari. Subarashiki Hibi. Mahoutsukai no Yoru. Saya no Uta. Soukou Akki Muramasa. Dies Irae. Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou. Oretachi ni Tsubasa wa Nai Cross+Channel. Kitto, Sumiwataru Asairo Yori mo. Saihate no Ima. Umineko no Naku Koro ni. Sakura no Uta. And much more, but now I'm out of steam from all the feels I've subjected myself to with finding, posting, and listening to this mass amount of BGM...
  8. [Electronic/Abstract/WEIRD]Mind Blown: Especially from End of Sunday my god what an experience of a track. *_*
  9. I blame K guy for this. But thankfully I directly attribute this piece to him so I don't mind the fallout of listening to it too much.
  10. Sakuuta when?!? I miss u 2! Pls take the opportunity to embrace Scat-ji with us again in the Skype groups or wherever when you get the chance and when things are all better. :3
  11. Thank you Haoge you have successfully converted me! 3D: I love traps. I love the concept of traps. I love traps for the same reason I love the magic performed by magicians and that I love superchibi; a deception that is not deception, and with that having been said.. Traps and the pleasures had appreciating them are truly Wonderful Everyday.
  12. Sakura no Uta, nothing more needs to be recited. ;_;
  13. Sakura no Uta and Dies Irae were the "best" or perhaps my personal favorites of this year that I've played. The rest were various nukige/moege which I enjoyed as entertainment (to laugh at), but nothing special as to be featured with their names in this thread.
  14. Why.. is.. there no extended version of this song? WHY M2U??? Nice title btw, it's perfectly representative to the track.
  15. So I just watched The Revenant in the theater today yesterday... AND IT WAS INTENSE AS FUCK! Someone on the previous page was mentioning how brutal the bear scene was but what about the dead horse scene?? That was pretty primal, I was like "well, that's certainly one way to stay warm xD...". In all seriousness and relief, this is one of the best movies I've seen in these past three or four months; that raw expression of humanity in the context of revenge, that all natural lighting in the cinematography yo. It's Good Stuff worthy of an unforgettable experience as a former film enthusiast (who may be "former" no more after this, a revenant of that enthusiasm!) might I say. I hope a certain someone wins what they deserve from this.
