  1. Coming from someone who enjoyed Grisaia immensely, I am inclined to say yes -- it is that good.
  2. I've waited this long, so I think I can hold my excitement for the route. If you get what I'm sayin'. It's interesting how I initially found Miyako to be a super annoying thirsty chick. No clue how or why she grew on me so much during every other girl's route, but she did. I'm pretty sure she's firmly in second place now among the main girls. Of course Yoshitsune is my favorite overall, but...
  3. We're talking about soccer, silly. Not baseball. Get with the program. Gosh.
  4. You might dig Full Metal Panic. Not strictly shounen battle, but relatively action packed and pretty darn funny at times.
  5. I started out with Dragonball Z and Rurouni Kenshin, but was before I even knew what anime specifically was. Once Naruto started airing on Toonami, I watched it knowing what it was and where it came from and everything, so you might call it my first. The anime I first watched that didn't air on American television was probably Toradora, but I can't make that call for sure. First manga was Naruto, a long time ago. I started reading it in the middle of filler episodes since it was ahead of the bullshit. Liked it a lot better than the anime, too. First manga I completed (and marathoned through) was BECK by Harold Sakuishi. Still my favorite manga to date.
  6. That is correct sir and/or madame. It's been incredibly useful for taking notes in my studies. Making complete sentences with it...not so much. It seems to have a bizarre knack for autocorrecting characters to kanji I don't know.
  7. TBQH I couldn't tell you. I've only recently learned Hiragana and Katakana, I can only immediately identify like, six kanji besides numbers, and Microsoft IME confuses the hell out of me.
  8. She's either in the 90th percentile of boob size or my perception is off. 私 名前は 亡霊です
  9. You certainly can't detract points just because you're not an ass man. I'm with you, though, when saying that outrageous boobs are a turn-off. Which makes for a problem for me in like, 70% of anime that I watch. Mikasa is excellent, though. Sasha is great, too. Overall, the latter wins but that's a hard call to make. hiyuraa pls.
  10. Yumiko Sakaki from Grisaia no Kaijitsu. Believable and sexy.
  11. Hola, peeps. I'm still alive. So I started G-Senjou no Maou yesterday and have run into a unique problem. The main protagonist is too much of a piece of shit for me to want to continue playing, I'm not even freaking kidding; it's legitimately difficult for me to continue through Tsubaki's route right now because I'm so disgusted by what the guy I'm making decisions for is doing. Mother of god. AFAIK there are H-scenes and I hope to god that some kind of redemption happens before any of them because if it doesn't I'm going to guilt myself right the fuck to the exit button.
  12. What about Shuffle? The anime adaptation to it was pretty decent, as far as they go, and having Rin pick
  13. Just to throw my fellow Japanese learners a bone, there's a great free flash card tool called Anki you guys should check out. It's more or less a program that you import decks of flash cards into, and then you go through and practice them. Anki helps you learn your shit via spaced repetition; it begins to repeat cards you struggle with based on the amount of difficulty you had (assuming you answer accurately). Helped a ton when I was learning kana, and there are plenty of decks out there for different levels of Kanji if you're willing to search around a bit. The dude behind TextFugu (which is another resource I encourage checking out) composed a great Hiragana deck.
  14. It's to be expected, to be honest. This place has become the central hub of the MajiKoi community as a whole. It likely warrants a subforum, but I think all that'd do is splinter the activity and make everything seem less...lively. Which could be a good or bad thing, depending on your viewpoint.
  15. Mine's working fine. I don't use the multiquote button, though.
  16. Peeps have died. and falls in love and live their lives together as lesbians, like God (I) intended. I finished Amane first. I legit cried some man tears. That ending. All I have left is Michuru and Makina, and I don't have much of a thing for loli so...
  17. Everyone should start telling anyone who asks this that the project is cancelled. Put in some effort, peep. Everyone else has to trudge through pages of talk about dicks; you can, too.
  18. That's actually really tough for me, since like, ninety percent of what I watch is romance in at least some sense. In no particular order: Clannad (After Story) This is a given for me, no doubt. A great story and one of the few anime that has earned a place on the made Borei cry list. Take into account that I first learned about Clannad via the biggest spoiler of the series and cried again later, you better believe I was impressed. Toradora Didn't make me cry, but TBQH I had a smile on my face for most of this series, and in a good way. As a guy with a large build and an "angry face" most of the time, I legitimately understood that part of Ryuuji, and that helped me empathize throughout the whole show. Wrapped up very nicely. School Rumble Blah blah it's not specifically a romance. It's a comedy that just happens to largely revolve around romance. It wasn't particularly sweet, and some of the comedy was far-fetched and absurd, but damn it if this series didn't wrap up so unexpectedly perfect. Also made me laugh quite a bit throughout.
  19. Hola, people. Been lurking for a while, so I thought I'd join up. Looking forward to Miyako, and later on hopefully Yoshitsune as well (in like, what? A-5 or 6?)!
