I'm currently playing Amnesia Later x Crowd. I'm stilll at the beginning of Later to be precise.
The game starts with a scenario about the entire cast wanting to find fireflies and going on an outing together to watch them. All this is still set while the protagonist lost her memories (in a more peaceful world it seems) so she is still mostly silent at this point.
Then you can choose who to talk to which opens their actual Later scenario. In addition to the five guys you also get a scenario with the three girls and Waka, the manager. Shout out to Mine for being very cute in her little talk with the protag! Looking forward to the actual girls night out scenario I was promised💕
I remember again why I love group dynamics with the love interests so much. There is just something very lovely about waching a bunch of adult men go ham playing at a little river. They different ways these guys managed to entertain themself is just so child-like it's wonderful!
Especially the progression of how they each got tangled up in playing!

Besides AoiShiro I'm also interested in The Trolley Problem and Chigau!!. Gotta keep them in mind and hope for an English release...

If you have followed the TGS2022 and did not get overwhelmed, then you are probably made of steel and you have capacities that I would be proud of. There have been more than 470 companies present and most big publishers and AAA companies announces a ton of amazing things. This definitely overwhelms our website's field of interest, so we told @Hiromi to go research a little into the relevant part for us. And hey, the amount of shown (not exclusively announced there) new visual novel projects is still overseeable. Without further ado, let's begin!

So, I've done some research. English sources seem to focus on AAA titles like CoD and Tekken. And when they do bring up anime style games, these are mostly RPG and action games.
I googled "TGS 22 ノベルゲーム" and was rewarded with some discoveries:
    Indies
     1) Binary Syndrome https://store.steampowered.com/app/2003300/_/ PC-98 style ADV. The game system reminds me of titles you find on Asenheim (Ring Out, Scoop titles, etc.) (so obscure it is not even on VNDB LOL)
    2) Coffee Talk Ep. 2 https://store.steampowered.com/app/1663220/Coffee_Talk_Episode_2_Hibiscus__Butterfly/ Pixel art OELVN. VA-11 Hall-A, but as a barista. Not newly announced, but not released yet. Slated for 2023.
    3) Ihanashi no Majo https://store.steampowered.com/app/1950570/_/ "Kinetic Novel" with around 10 hr length. Cute art. A boy moves to an island in Okinawa and meets a tanned girl from overseas. (JP/CH only Download release in October!)
    4) Trolley Problem Inc. https://store.steampowered.com/app/1582680/Trolley_Problem_Inc/ Text adventure with narrative choices. Philosophical themes and dark humor. (Not on VNDB, most likely doesn't qualify? Out for a while now, still interesting. Even got a video by xqc)
    5) Chigau!!!+ https://studio-thursday.work/chigau+/#/ Orthodox Bishoujo-ge... But with meta elements like DDLC: Some heroines remember what happens in their own route, even when you're in another girl's route.
These are some of the indie VN titles which were represented on the TGS in the section Indie Games Selection. https://tgs.nikkeibp.co.jp/tgs/2022/jp/contents/indie81.html I think I've caught all the VNs from these 77 titles. That's barely 6% of the total.
    Big announcements
6.) Aoishiro & Akai Ito After like 20 years, there is a remaster bundling Akai Ito & Aoishiro in one for Switch & PC. We have already seen this announcement in another thread and the VNTS, but it might be worth announcing it here too. It contains Mystery-Folklore setting with gay girls. Also it supports English language!
    7. Seabed Audio Novel Collection Speaking of gay girls, @PhleBuster(Fruitbat Factory) was also at TGS2022 and they announce that they will be releasing the Seabed Audio Novel Collection. It has been translated by Steiner, so it will be more quality. The original game is a Conjueror work, rip him
Here's everything. While only the last two are proper announcements and the other games earlier were just showcased in that event, I still believe just for Aoishiro & Akai Ito this year's TGS was worth it. Maybe it is also worth it to keep paying attention to such events in the following years..?

    Missed anything? Please comment!

It probably can be made, but I don't know much about otome restoration projects. Maybe ask on the common communities like r/otomegames or the Otome Games discord? There is also this group called Otogelib which you could contact!

Operetta Due and Dramatic Create announced that Koezaru wa Akai Hana (en: The Crimson Flower that Divides: Lunar Coupling) will be released on Switch and Steam in Japanese, English, and Chinese next year.
Here is the announcement on Twitter.
Koezaru wa Akai Hana was originally released in 2012 as an 18+ Otome Game. Two years later an all-ages version (17+) was released for PSP and later for PS Vita as well.
We don't know yet if the Steam version will be the original 18+ version or the all-ages version. But to be save we should expect the all-ages version.
Still, as there are very few 18+ Otome Games playable in English I hope there will be a way to play the original version as well.
I personally know of the game from review/summaries made by JP players. I don't know if I'll like it due to the subject matter but I will try it out!
I recommend Otome Kitten's article for more detailed information.

Shiawase_Rina reacted to HataVNI in An odd game recently released on Switch just got its PC Port: Alice's Warped Wonderland: REcollection
Fushigi no Kuni na Alice, the classic tale by Lewis Carroll has been imitated since the beginning of time (ok, not that long) and I can personally remember quite a few games that had done it. They are always odd and mysterious, so I like them a lot. Yugami no Kuni no Alice ~REcollection~ seems to be another one of these odd games. It is published by Nightmare Studio, INC. who release this as their first title, it seems.

The Switch version came out on the 25th of August 2022 in Japanese, Chinese and English.

Unfortunately, if one takes a look at the steam description all hopes for an attractive English translation leave the body. See it for yourself.

Shiawase_Rina got a reaction from HataVNI in The newest Otome game announcements: Otomate Party 2022
    9. R.I.P interests me the most from the new games! I like Yuuya's artwork and quite a few of her designs here are again winners! Urban legends is also an interesting theme. I'm hoping for some horror vibes! I want to feel afraid again playing otome games.
Other than that the fandisc for Virche will be interesting. So now it will focus on salvation, eh? I'm waiting for the English release next year to play the game so I only know what I heard about it second hand. The likelihood of me liking Virche is pretty high (the writer is one of my favorites + I like darker stories) so this is also something to look forward to.
Virche should also sell pretty well in the west so the we don't have to worry much about not getting the fandisc in English. (Just please don't fuck the release up Aksys)
Lastly the new Alice game! It's a deeply nostalgic series for me since I stumbled over the manga adaptions when I was like 13. Of course this game will probably also stay in the "never getting an English release" zone but I'm still glad the series keeps going! And Julius is back again! Long time no see grumpy clockmaker! Sadly not as a love interest tho. But just seeing his unhappy face makes me happy.
I am concerned that Fujimaru-sensei will apparently stop being the artist for the games. It's not like she always was the artist of the series but she has a long history with it. I'm worried Otomate did something bad again.

Shiawase_Rina reacted to HataVNI in The newest Otome game announcements: Otomate Party 2022
Dear God, since we have a severe lack of Otomaidens here until we snack ourselves a cool partnership with the passionately anime men worshipping mostly female userbase of some Otome community, I have to be handling this summary. This is interesting, because besides being interested in all kinds of visual novels I have not touched that many Otome before. I can pinpoint my first otome experience with Amnesia: Memories, because of an ex-girlfriend almost a decade ago who told me to leave her life and instead regressed to 2D-worship of Toma for that game. Other than that I have played Hakuouki: Kyoto Winds & Edo Blossoms, 7Scarlet (Review), BURIED STARS, Fxxx me Royally, Nameless and some Taisho x Alice Ep. 1- this is not the most wealthy collection of Otome, so I'm not the biggest expert for them, so bear with me. I definitely would look forward to a true expert to show up and take over this kind of post, especially when it comes to exploring voice actors, staff and legacy of particular brands!

The publisher Idea Factory held the Otomate Party 2022 Event where they presented in total 8! new Otome titles for Nintendo Switch. This lineup consists of four completely new games and two ports of older platforms. Additionally, there's a sequel and a fandisc, too.
Let's get right ahead with the announcements, shall we?
    New Announcements
    Shuuen no Virche -EpiC:lycoris-
Here we have a fandisc of the game Shuuen no Virche -ErroR:salvation-. The game will release in 2023 via Aksys Games. It was announced just a short while ago.

Spade no Kuni no Alice (Alice in the Country of Spades) ~Wonderful Black World~
This is the sequel of Spade no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful White World~ which released in September 2021.
Temirana-koku no Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishi-dan (The Princess with Good Luck and the Knights with Bad Luck from the Temirana Kingdom)
In this game we are thrown into a country where ones birthmonth decides over a person's livelyhood. The protagonist girl is the third princess of the country who is blessed with extreme luck while her subordinates, the knights, are pursued by misfortune.
    9 R.I.P
The more monstrous, the better. While this trailer does not show a lot it is clear that this is a ghost story of sorts. Apparently, there are multiple world's that play in the Beyond?
    My9Swallows Topstars League
This is a collaboration game between Otomate and the japanese baseball team "Tokyo Yakult Swallows". In this romance-story you become a manager of said team and you're instructed to take care of the members there and keep their sprits high.
A new project by Yuki Iwai & Daisuke Namikawa
    Nothing else is known.
    Console Ports
    Senjou no Waltz
The game released initially for PlayStation Vita in 2014. We're becoming a member of the Nirvana Military Academy and our female protagonist is equipped with a cursed, magical blade.
    Princess Arthur
The game first released for PlayStation Portable in 2013. It's an adaption of Arturian Legend, but instead of Saber King Arthur being the King that you imagine, they are an ordinary girl. This game got a port on mobile by NTT Solmare in 2016.
Spade no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Black World~, Senjou no Waltz and Princess Arthur will release in 2023. Shuuen no Virche -EpiC:lycoris-, Temirana-koku no Tsuiteru Hime to Tsuitenai Kishidan, 9 R.I.P. and My9Swallows Topstars League did not have their dates announced yet.

Everything listed here will be available on Nintendo Switch in Japan.
