  1. The one game where cheats only enhance the gameplay: GTA VICE CITY (Liberty City too)! I mean, these games are LEGENDARY. Staples of the gaming industry world-over. It's a sad thing for a gamer to have not played at least one of these two, and had hours of fun without ever going into the story.

On that point, the Saint's Row series has exactly the same kind of fun, plus DILDO BATS.

Good ol' Vice City times. Saint's Row is really fun too.

  2. Re:Monster (fantasy), Tate no yuusha no Nariagari (fantasy with "hero from another world", but not your usual one), Kataribe no List (fantasy, has stuff about grimm fairy tales), Boku no Hero academia (superpowers and heroes and stuff), The Gamer (webtoon about a guy that gets "gamer" powers, lots of grinding ensued). All of them are still ongoing though.

  3. A mix of personality, looks and (in case of the hero), a bit of relatability (just a bit, can't say I can relate to school fighting heroes for example).

My favorite heroine... There are too many out there, lots come to mind, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some anyway. Makina from Grisaia, Kyou from Clannad, Yuiko from Little Busters!, Shizuru from Rewrite, Kagome from Comyu, Kazuko from Majikoi and I could be here all day. I don't know if I have a favorite archetype (such as Tsundere, Osananajimi, etc), or maybe I just don't realise it.

As for heroes, if he's not a wimp, I'll probably like him.

  4. Have to agree with Nosebleed about Sakura from Da Capo.

    Grisaia no Kajitsu

Don't know if it deserved a kick in the butt, but Amane's bitch-in-heat mode for almost the whole route really ticked me off, to the point of making me hate her forever.

Comyu - Kuroi Ryuu to Yasashii Oukoku

Caesar's attitude made me want to punch him a lot, along with the main character in certain situations. Same goes for the delinquent dude, can't remember his name eventhough I played the last route a few days ago.

    Koi to Senkyo to Chocolate

Chisato's obsession with her brother's death and how she had the MC practicaly blackmailed by that.

  5. I believe I have the same issue of Nintendo mag, and it was also my inspiration for playing this game. For such an old game the art is truly beautiful, but that is to be expected from the FF series.

Im pretty sure there are functional GC emulators out there now, so you theoretically could play it

I'll probably do so someday, or just wait until I can get my hands on a GC before they disappear xD

  6. Thanks for the tips regarding Valkyria everyone, I'm advancing pretty slowly as it seems it doesn't have that many chapters :'(

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles (replaying again)

Never got this far, getting the unknown element in the desert is such a pain in the ass. Now I can finally beat this damn game after having it for the past 10 years

I've always wanted to play that game. I have a Nintendo magazine from when it was released, were it was portrayed, and it made me want to play it so badly. Sadly, I never had a Nintendo of any type, so I wasn't able to play it :(

  7. I guessed scouts would be the best to focus on upgrading, as they have that crazy movement distance lol

I'm training my lancers too, because they tend to fail their three misiles even if I'm at two steps from the tank.

  8. Grabbed Valkyria Chronicles while it was on sale. Installing it now, it will be the first time I've played the series.

Tell us if it's good! I want to buy it but I'm really skeptical even though the rating at steam is "overwhelmingly positive" (96% positive)...

It's reaaally good, and I'm not even that much into the story as I'm playing it quite slowly.

Started playing Shadow of Mordor and Dragon Age Inquisition. SoM is pretty good, DA: I is just fine, don't know why people were so hyped :( maybe I'll understand it when I advance more into the story.

  9. I was definitely not expecting the level of seriousness and defeat that came along with Wanko's route in Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai. In a medium (even within that VN) where characters are able to pull off insane acts of superhuman ability, that really caught me off guard.

    Kyouhei is actually Kyousuke's

    older brother, not his twin.

  10. I'm going to watch these ones, probably:

Absolute Duo: Not really expecting much, but I'm reading the manga and it's interesting.
Ansatsu Kyoushitsu: I read the manga and I love it. Karasuma best character~
Shinmai Maou no Testament: Same as Absolute Duo.
Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata: Read the manga, hope it follows another heroine though (or omnibus format <3)
Juuou Mujin no Fafnir: It says romance, so I'll give it a try.
Seiken Tsukai no World Break: Same as above.
    Isuca: Same as Absolute Duo.

    And that's all, I guess :(

  11. At the moment I can only think, mostly, of on-going ones like Hibi Chouchou and Horimiya, but I must say that at least I have found a lot of manga to read now thanks to this thread, thanks for that!

As for completed ones, that I remember right now while browsing my list:

    Kanpeki Kareshi Kanojo

    Mou Speed de Karera wa
    Hatsukiai
    Kirikagohime to Mahou Tsukai
    Tsubakikan no Utsukushisugiru Garcon
    Matsuri Special
    Zettai Joousei
    Honey-Coming: Sweet Love Lesson
    Otomen

Sorry if you've already read some, but I'm kinda in a rush at the moment D:
