  1. It was a joke lol, and honestly they should be picking people who actually have games on their battle.net accounts rather then the people who just made one cause of a new MOBA

    ^ agreed.

And thanks Freestyle, I'll give it a try when it's out if there will be such a variety of Heroes :D

  2. I've been considering if I'll play this game or not when it's released, and it's solely based on something I read somewhere (that they won't make new heroes, but use the ones already existing in the games). Is that true, or will they create new playable characters from scratch?

Also, grats on getting that Alpha!

  3. I took a look at the game right now and it got me really interested. I might give it a try, because these days I've been craving for some turn-based since I haven't played any since quite a while ago (last one I played was FF Tactics, and it was around last year I think).

  4. Common routes in visual novels usually give the reader some kind of expectation of what's to come, in some shape or form. Even without that, anyone who's watched or read enough stories probably has a decent grasp on storytelling tropes and cliches. So we all likely have some kind of expectation when we start on a new route in a visual novel. It could be a simple expectation of quality, an expectation of atmosphere and tone, or even an expectation of what's to come. So I wanted to ask, what character route in which visual novel surprised you the most? Maybe you had zero expectations for a route and it ended up being exceptional? Maybe the one you anticipated would be your favorite ended up being a disappointment? Perhaps the route took a sudden, dark turn you did not see coming or it even ended up being unexpectedly soul-crushing.

After thinking about it a little bit, I'm surprised to say Wanko's route in Majikoi best suits the question for me. Given the the kind of VN it is and the game's general tone,  I was surprised at how touching it ended up being and the extent of the character development that was shown. On top of that, she was the character I was least interested in reading a route for. So her route ending up being my favorite of the four translated ones came as a surprise to me.

    Majikoi spoilers for Wanko's route:

Watching a comparatively average girl struggle to even partially measure up to the absurd, god-like strength of her sister made for an interesting story dynamic. Having her struggling to come to terms with failing at it made for a more human story than I expected out of Majikoi.

Anyway, what character route ended up surprising you the most? Since this is a general topic, please try to keep all spoilers within spoiler tags.

I can't agree more with Wanko's route, which made her my favorite heroine from that visual novel.

I can't really remember any specific case of a route being that surprising in the visual novels I've played, but I'll try to shamble my memories and post my recollections afterwards.

Nevermind, before sending the post I remembered something:

    G-Senjou no Maou

Was not an heroine, but from the main character himself. There were hints everywhere about him being Maou, and I was completely sure of it... Until the twin showed up. Eventhough it was kinda like "hey, he has a second personality, I swear" kind of writting, It really catched me by surprise.

  5. I'm pretty sure that if you cut my veins, instead of blood I'll spill coffee. Contrary to what some experience, I don't get the "energy" or whatever that coffee is supposed to give, but I keep drinking it simply because I like it very much.

  6. Did this show really turned out this well? I honestly backed out after the first two episodes were awful.

Well, for me it was really good. But I don't know what could be 'awful' for you D; for example, I think To Love Ru, SNK or SAO II are afwul, yet there are a lot of people that love it. What did you not like from the first two episodes? If it was Miyuki, she keeps being like that the entire series (?)

I would've loved a second season, but after a friend of mine spoiled me a lot of the light novel... I don't know :(

  7. Diablo III like a BOSS! Very awesome game, really like it now. Tons of things changed and the game is much more addicting than D2.

And .. I haven't touched Hoshizora for a week now D: ... fuck that damn bug on Komomo's route .. urghhh!!

    I was reluctant to play Diablo III for some reason, but I've been seeing people praise it a lot these days, so maybe I'll give it a try now that I don't have any VN to play ;o;

  8. I have it downloaded but i can't get in any server because of that queue simulator nonsense i left my computer then i come back I'm kicked :D I don't even have a character yet lol i hope they can fix this problem lol

I'm playing on the EU server (although I'm from South America...), and at night (my night, at least) the queue are dead since a few days ago, so it's playable now.

This looks like the kind of humour from Planescape : torment.

    That game <3
