The game itself is not being delayed. -
Frontwing will localize Subahibi this year
SpeedBeatz replied to littleshogun's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I'm looking into this currently, but I will say that our company Steam account is this one, so anything from any other account isn't something we've done ourselves. Also, keep in mind that this was posted during Golden Week, when pretty much the entire country of Japan was not at work. -
Frontwing teases a big new project on twitter
SpeedBeatz replied to Dergonu's topic in Visual Novel Talk
I think I've clarified this elsewhere before, but the situation was that Corona Blossom was selling less than expected, not that it wasn't selling at all (and, to be blunt, the expectations that the higher-ups had were just a little bit overly optimistic). -

"Re: Sharin no Kuni Project" Kickstarter preview page is up

While we don't have any extra stretch goals planned, I'm sure the team will come up with something nice to do with the extra funds raised. -

Just a little reminder that we're doing an AMA on /r/visualnovels about 45 minutes from now! -

It may take a little longer yes, I don't know anything more specific than that at this point, but I doubt it would be more than a couple weeks, maybe a month at absolute worst. -

No catch, there was a slight possibility we might have had to restrict it somehow but we we able to confirm that there's no caveats for the standalone 18+. It'll be a simple matter of choosing which you want on BackerKit and then receiving your key(s). -

It's clearly stated in Kickstarter's TOS that pornographic material is not allowed to be sold. Yes, some companies have gotten away with it by being coy with their wording, but the last thing we want is someone reporting the campaign and getting it shut down. And that's not to mention the other reasons we listed, which would still be applicable even if adult items were allowed on Kickstarter. We have gotten the a-okay for a standalone 18+ digital version though, and we'll be updating the Tumblr post with that information soon (when I get a free moment from all this launch hullabaloo). -

I can't say for 100% certain, as it isn't in development yet, but I can't see any reason why it wouldn't be! (And I'll make personally sure that the need for Vita TV compatibility is properly communicated to the developer handling the port.) -

Sorry for any confusion, the purpose of the poll was to help us decide about potentially switching the order of the stretch goals. Neither one is being removed from the campaign! -

What I can say is this: it's not a matter of not releasing mosaic-free because we don't feel like it, or because we're too cheap, or because we don't think it's important. If it was feasible for us to be offering the game mosaic-free, we would be. I don't have the most up-to-the-minute info on every single factor that made it not possible, and I'll see what I can do about further explanations (no promises, though), but if it were something we could change we absolutely would have done so before relaunching the campaign. -
Okay so there seems to have been a breakdown of communication at some point, because this was not supposed to be announced yet. It's not Time Leap Paradise the VN, it's a different thing, and I'm assuming we'll make a detailed announcement in the next few hours since we kind of have to, so I guess "more details soon!" until I can get confirmation on how to handle this.

I can guarantee you this is not the case! -
I don't really want to bump that other thread, so I'll just post it here: our Indiegogo for Corona Blossom Vol.2 has launched, check it out if you're interested!

Hi! So, we have a completely different release and marketing schedule for Japan and overseas. The reason Vol.2 has been announced and preorders opened in Japan is that the physical release of Vol.1 was last Friday, and the promotion for Vol.2 was prepared in light of that. We haven't started promoting Vol.2 overseas yet for a number of reasons; for example, we're still reviewing all the feedback we got about Vol.1 and figuring out how to approach Vol.2's release in light of that, also, we're going to be utilizing Indiegogo again essentially as a pre-order platform for the game (more on our reasoning for this will come when the campaign is announced), but not all of the goods, etc. have been completely prepared yet so we've held off on an opening date announcement for that (but it's coming soon!). It has nothing to do with our relationship with or standing in the Western VN community, nor with the sales of Vol.1. As far as the tapestry is concerned, our contract with Sofmap prevented us from being able to offer it overseas. I'm glad you like the design, and it's unfortunate we couldn't make it more easily available, but there's literally nothing we could do about that. I've mentioned it before, but we're certainly not affiliated in any way with anyone trying to guilt people into buying our products or anything remotely like that. At this point the only person speaking for Frontwing outside of official social media accounts is me. To be perfectly honest, it's a bit disheartening to me that people still think of us like the OP does, but in a way, that just means I'm not doing my job well enough, so I do apologize for that. Lastly, (criticism of the pricing model and format of the H-scenes aside) while Corona Blossom may not be a genre-changing masterpiece, I think the reviews for Vol.1 on Steam and other sites show that at the very least the game doesn't "suck"!

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear (and I hope this doesn't sound rude), but nobody from Frontwing posted anything on 4chan. I have no idea who made the /v/ thread (the OP of which was a screencap of a tweet from someone else who did an article about us asking on Facebook and Reddit), but it absolutely wasn't anyone here. We didn't even make the thread on Reddit, I just posted in the weekly questions thread and then sanahtlig was kind enough to create a dedicated thread for us (on their own recognizance). Just want to set the facts straight, mostly because I don't want it to look like we're being overly aggressive in promotion or anything like that.
