  1. Boku ga Ita eh? I have watched the first half of it and it is actually pretty good. I have not watched it since, but general consensus seems to say that it is a pretty good one. Really need to finish that one now that I think about it. o-o

Haven't watched Kimi ni Todoke (yet) but it is on my list.

  2. Ohhhhh relly? Its always nice to have another brothers here.

So what do u think bout traps?

I've been pretty partial to traps I noticed in recent anime/whatever else recently. My most recent experience with a trap was Hamaji Yakumo:

It was then I subconsciously realized...

    I love traps.

  3. I only heard of this series a little before Atelier Shallie was announced for getting its Western release. I absolutely fell in love with the opening song "Rusty Sky", and that wonderful green haired heroine (believe her name is like.. Shallotte or something? Someone can correct me if I am wrong.)

Been really meaning to get into this series of games. Probably going to start with the Dusk series and work my way from there. Need to finally get my hands on PS3 first though. Been putting that off ever since the PS3 came out. xD

  4. Final fantasy X

I love the aspect of Racism,Religion,Believe and ofc Love.

    For example Wakka.

His believe for his religion and hatred towards Al-bhed,changing around the game. And its really amazing how he become in the final.

And ofc if we r talkin about FFX thats mean Tidus X Yuna is the first thing we remember. One of the best couple in whole gaming world and my god...that scene in Macalania woods, such a beuty scene for old game.

When you're playing blitzball, you gotta think about blitz and nothing else. If you do, that's when you lose

  5. Now, this may seem a little broad, as many of us have have played many'a game. However, I'd like to see what people's favorite non VN games are. I know it is a pretty tough question for some, but I am sure I will get at least a few answers out of this one. So let's hear it. Your favorite games and why they are your favorite will do. Don't need to write too much, just enough as to give an idea of why they stand so high on your list of games.

    I'll start. My favorite being:

    Tales of the Abyss

Reason: I personally feel like it is among the best when it comes to it's main cast of characters. The progress Luke makes as a character is just absolutely amazing, and there were times where I deeply resonated with him. Tear is a pretty decent female lead, and I felt her kuudere attitude definitely complimented Luke in many ways. Guy, Natalia, Jade, Asch, Ion, and yes... even Anise. All of them held there own as characters and each brought something special to the table with nobody felt out of place; which is something that is noteworthy in itself.

With a heavy emphasis on themes of existentialism and death, how could the 14 year old, angst filled me not be pulled in? It had a huge impact on me at that time in my life, and it continued to do so when I replayed it in recent years.

Of course, this game was my first encounter with anime tropes that I engaged myself, and was also my first Tales game in general. So my views on it may be a tad askew, but regardless, I do love that game above all else. Probably my first JRPG aside from Final Fantasy now that I think about it. Been wanting to replay it again recently but I just have not had the time among all the other games/VNs I have on the go.

Special mention goes to Jade.. cause that suave sarcasm with just the right pinch of sexiness. Plus he is the resident megane of the game... just... oh man. Love him to death.

  6. Welcome, welcome! Good to have you here! ^^

Ha ha, of course :), not once, but three times. What a magnificent anime.

Couldn't agree more. :) Tis my favorite anime of all time. No, probably my favorite story of all time. If you haven't read the VN yet, I highly recommend it.

  7. I had been keeping up with all the news about Aldnoah up until today. So for the most part, I knew that Inaho was alive, but I was kinda pretending that MAYBE they were trolling everyone.

    I was unpleasantly surprised.

My reaction when it reveals EVERYONE to be alive (especially Inaho):

I totally relate to this.  I'm probably more truthful about my opinions and who I am on this forum, than I am in real life (I mean I'm not like a fake irl.. but there's only a few people who truly know me, and everyone else only sees my outer persona and what I feel is appropriate for them to see).  For me, I have to filter what I really think irl more because of social expectations, and forced social interactions.  At least on a forum, if I have nothing to say about at topic or feel uneasy about participating, I can just not reply in it.  It's a lot more controlled, so I have a choice to engage or not reply and only if I really want to.  Also, the anonymity puts less pressure having repercussions affecting me in the real world so there's not as much a danger to express how I truly feel (this can be a good or bad thing).  Irl, sometimes you're forced to engage and not be as honest about what you really think in the moment, and also a shorter window on how to reply... but that could just be how I am, so that's why I personally feel more freedom online.  I guess I can be quite secretive and private xD is probably why I feel that way..

soo I might not have same exact reasons, but like you, @Linova, I also feel like a weirdo (especially socially). So it's harder to fully be myself irl than on the internet where I can choose to be more like myself due to anonymity and control.
