  1. Step 3 - Drag this file into your installation folder. It means the folder where you installed Togainu no Chi in step 0. By default that is in Program Files:
  2. Awesome, closing topic. Ask a moderator to reopen if more issues arise.
  3. Sounds like some files are still read-only. Remove all files that have .dat extension from the folder and try again.
  4. Does it still crash when changing settings? Also quote from the readme by Amaterasu Translations:
  5. Stop the torrent if it is still seeding and uncheck read-only from cross channel folder properties.
  6. Hey, Grisaia is one of those games that require installation and cannot be just copied from a PC to another. I'm afraid the only solution at this time is to download the installer again if you want to have it on another PC.
  7. Are you using Internet Explorer? It looks like it doesn't work properly with IE (at least IE11 is what I tried). Try clicking the gray switch in the top left of the editor to disable auto-formatting and enter the BBCode manually like: [img=http://i.imgur.com/Nw2od7W.png] Just replace the image url with the one you want.
  8. Awesome, closing topic. PM a moderator to reopen in case more problems appear.
  9. Try moving the Kamidori folder to the root of a disk partition, example C:/[Fuwanovel] Kamidori Alchemy Meister -English-
  10. Thank you both and good luck with your new projects.
  11. I looked at the prices at some Finnish recovery service and it is 500€-800€
  12. If it's actually broken and doesn't get detected if you try it in a couple of PCs I would say best just throw it and download everything again. Data recovery services are expensive as hell.
  13. Sounds like operating system corruption, do a system file check and chkdsk. Open command prompt as administrator ( write cmd to start menu search, right click command prompt and run as administrator ). Enter command: sfc /scannow and let it scan your pc (this can take a while). Then enter command: chkdsk /f /r and restart your pc and let it do that scan. After both are done try to change locale again.
  14. This often means that the file is corrupted or you don't have the privileges to run it. Use your torrent client to recheck the files for any corruption and run it as administrator.
  15. Need to use the full editor to attach files (more reply options). Attached image: Attached txt file: attachment.txt
  16. The saves and configuration files are located in Documents, try moving them somewhere else and then running the game again.
  17. What was included in this "reset"? Did you reinstall your graphics drivers and DirectX after it?
  18. @nfinite, Joshyan: Please work out the drama between team members in private. Edit: Seems like everything is cool now, thanks for keeping it peaceful.
  19. Your speaker setup is probably wrong. Open your sound card settings and change your speaker setup to what you are using. If you are using 2 speakers choose stereo.
  20. Do step 4) Copy Folder contents into Game folder again and when it asks to merge folders or overwrite files click yes to everything.
  21. You probably didn't overwrite the configuration file when you applied the English patch. You can manually enable the options by editing the startup.xml again and change the CONFIG_B block to look like this (all zeros to ones): <CONFIG_B> <mode>1</mode> <key>1</key> <snd>1</snd> <eff>1</eff> <wnd>1</wnd> <mes>1</mes> <font>1</font> <wnd_alpha>1</wnd_alpha> <view3d>1</view3d> </CONFIG_B>
  22. Browse into the config folder, there is a file startup.xml. Open it in notepad and change line <wndmenu>0</wndmenu> to <wndmenu>1</wndmenu>
  23. Third menu at the top, first option. 6th tab that says フォント.
