  1. I sent a request since I just got another friend slot 1 level ago :P

Until you get a bunch of rares (you'll get a bunch doing the draw that takes friend points) you don't have to worry too much on formation. The best way is just to rely on Auto Formation for each attribute. My personal teams consist of

A: Smile Auto Formation (one change for a card with a good ability and close stats)

B: Pure Auto Formation (One change sacrificing about 200 stat for correct attribute)

C: Cool Auto Formation (I messed with this and changed 3 cards for abilities, should change back)

    D: All smile Rares idolized

    E: All cool Rare idolized.

When I first started, I had D for maxing bond points and E for stamina+stamina recovery, but I don't need them any more. On a new account I made, I just max bonds in the attribute teams since I wouldn't have a lot of rares.

And yep just idolize each card once. I kept them all and eventually one day long after starting (like, almost 3 months) max leveled them all for a challenge in the game. You won't be using them later on since the stats suck compared to rares, which you will get a good amount without too much problem.

    Thanks for the tips!

    Wow you're rank 111. ~Bows down~

By the way do you mean the "Scout regular student" option when you say do the draw that costs friend points?

EDIT: Probably a good idea for me to check the wiki regarding all of these mechanics before I end up asking a million questions  :P

EDIT 2: If I get this excited scoring a rare Umi card i can't imagine what I'll be like when its time to start collecting the super and ultra rares

  2. Eclipsed - 199707075, rank 12

Are there any tips on how I should go about team formation? So far my team A consists of my favorite characters, B has the favorite smileys, C has the favorite pures, D has the favorite cools, and E is used for the auto-formation whenever I want a team that's maxed out on a trait for a song.

And what's the recommended way to go about using the special practice to idolize characters? I've been getting at least 1 idolized version per character so far

Having a blast with this game so far

  3. Wowzers I assumed you were new to visual novels in general when you said you were new around here but you've read like 4x as much novels than me :P

Grisaia no Kajitsu's one of my favs as well!

    Welcome to the forums ~

  4. I was a HARDCORE SNSD/2ne1/T-ara fan back in the day. My external harddrive has like 500 gigabytes worth of 2ne1-TV, SNSD Hello Baby, T-ara Dream Girls and god knows what else variety shows they came out with  :P

If y'all ever have 2 hours of spare time and are Blackjacks check out this fancam I made of 2ne1's New Evolution tour a few years back

Skip to 3:38 for the concert to actually start; I don't even know what I was thinking when I edited in the first few minutes of crap haha.

  5. Finished G-Senjou no Maou recently and need a place to vent~!@

Well... technically I still have all the character routes left since I impatiently dove straight into true route but ...

Anyways this was my first visual novel with the element "battle of wits" (I've mostly been reading "slice-of-life/group of friends" type stories) so this was a pretty refreshing change of pace.

    While some of the antics the characters resorted to when outsmarting each other seemed a bit farfetch'ed at times, the story did a good job of reasonably explaining things;

I remember complaining to myself at how ridiculous it was for Tsubaki to get away from her little encounter with the police so easily during the kidnapping event, but as it turns out, that was EXACTLY how Maou escaped with the ransom

    :P

Or how the Hashimoto somehow managed to escape with Mizuha despite the school being completely surrounded by Kyousuke's yakuza... turns out, Yuki was the mastermind behind this hostage situation and Hashimoto bailed long before the "negotiations" occurred.

Idk just things that made me go "there's no way that can happen!@#" getting explained properly was a nice feeling.

This big question as to Maou's identity was something that kept me intrigued for a good while; I believe this was my thought process throughout the chapters:

Chapter 1: Who the heck is 'Maou' and what does he want.
Chapter 2: Wait, Maou = Kyousuke...??
Chapter 3: Maou = Kyousuke for sure.
Chapter 4: 100% guaranteed Maou is Kyousuke
    Chapter 5: WHAT. THE. F---------

    The revelation didn't bother me.
I can see why some would consider it to be cheap and/or Kyousuke's character is devalued from him no longer being this split-personality mastermind, 'Maou' though. But at the time I was more like "OHHH SNAP KYOUSUKE ISN'T MAOU!@!#" to think negatively.

And damn that scene leading up to it was super tense... Here we have Maou strangling the living daylights out of Haru, and she's calling out to Kyousuke so one would think she's trying to talk some sense into Maou.. but NOPE! Here comes Kyousuke running in and you finally realize that Maou and Kyousuke have different hair colors.

The epilogue was one of the most satisfying epilogues I've had the pleasure of reading.

I knew Maou wouldn't go down that easily. When Haru opened the door only to be greeted by Maou after the credits I swear I had the same

expression that she did! Kyousuke's self-sacrifice to kill Maou in Haru's place along with his forcibly shutting out those who cared for him so they wouldn't be tainted by his name was painful but damn admirable.

And lastly, of course, that 8 year timeskip where Kyousuke is finally released out of prison and Haru reunites with him, child in hand. I had a hunch (the writers tried to pull a fast one by making Kyousuke tell Haru to hook up with another guy (forgot his name), but to actually hear this girl calling him daddy was when I let the tears drop. The cycle of revenge is over;Kyousuke & Haru can finally live together as a family and put the past behind them. So damn touching!!!

  6. Quick clarity question(s) regarding the choose 11 cards (9 agents, 1 location, 1 relic)

    • Are we just choosing whatever random character/location/relic we can think of and sending you the images(720 pixels in height minimum) so you can create the cards + stats?
    • Is each TEAM (not guild) making their own deck?

  7. Anyone got any tips on using the post-rework Sona?  Not really sure how all of the changes affected her gameplay, so if I could get a few pointers that'd be great.  She's the only true support I can play decently, aside from Nami and Thresh, so I kinda need to keep basic knowledge of how to play her.

Post-rework Sona emphasizes much more on having "moments of power" rather than her previous "hidden power" via her aura passives; they have essentially removed these passives and instead given them actives.

Her Power Chord passive mechanic stays the same though (Q bonus damage to Sona's auto attack, W reducing 20% enemy damage, E slowing enemy)

    Here are some specifics:

Q: Instead of having that flat AD/AP boost, now empowers nearby ally's next auto-attack to deal bonus damage

W: Instead of flat Armor/MR boost, now shields and heals the most wounded nearby ally (heal is increased based on % missing health)

E: Instead of flat speed boost, now gives a bigger initial burst of speed and extends its duration for Sona the more allies you touch with the speed aura.

    R: No change (I think :P)

    Some tips

***Due to the nature of her active auras, positioning is key to post-rework Sona. The Q auto attack empower, W shield, E speed boost only apply when you touch your allies with your aura. Stay nearby your ADC/team to give them the aura actives whenever you use your abilities, but be careful not to be too close to them all the time when there's like an Orianna on the enemy team just waiting to use Shockwave

    Q

(Requires synergy + positioning): When you know your ADC is going to auto-attack harass the enemy champion (such as when enemy champion is moving in to last-hit a minion), position yourself so that you can Q the enemy while also giving your ADC the auto-attack empower. Sona Q + Sona Power Chord + Caitlyn Sona-Q-Empowered-Headshot = rekt'ed. Just don't get hooked by that darn Thresh when you move in to Q.

    W

(Requires judgment): Use shield to prevent harass. Also the heal is now increased based on % missing health, so it is possible to bait the enemy to over commit. Be careful not to go OOM.

    E

Pretty much the same as before, use it to chase/escape, just don't leave your teammates behind by not being in range to give them the speed boost.

  8. Well, I just realized that I derped out and forgot to add 6th gen consoles.  Fixed that.  Me so smart.  Also added GameCube because Eclipsed mentioned it.

I think you can group N64/Gamecube/Wii/WiiU together since they are all flagship successor consoles of the Nintendo lineup (even though their naming schemes aren't consistent like Microsoft's XBox/XBox360/XBoxOne and Sony's PS/PS2/PS3/PS4).

Oh and as for why I prefer PC over console.... well, there's just so much more you can do on a PC :P

Edit: COUGH* emulators, mods, 1080p @ 60fps... but now I'm sounding like one of those elitists

  9. Holy bananas this thread is HUGE

The first thing that came to my mind after reading a few pages is "Shoutbox"  :P but I don't know one thing about how websites work/how accessible it would be to get one so pardon me if that was a stupid suggestion.

I don't even wanna touch the whole "Freedom to have a random chat thread vs. Forum rules/threads are meant for discussion"

  10. It's not like I'm totally hyped for this or anything, but y'all are going down!

@Flutterz a "bye" is tournament mechanic where if there are an odd number of competitors at any stage of a single-elimination tournament, one player is excused from play and continues on if he had defeated his (nonexistent) opponent.

    Summary

"I don't think I'll ever forget the color of this sky"

The story is set in a very distant future, in a time when mankind is just recovering from decades of war fought between Earth and a terraformed Moon. The war was so devastating that it set technological progress back by decades, if not centuries, causing the world to revert to a primitive appearance. Despite finally reaching a time of peace, there continues to be distrust between the Sphere Kingdom (Moon) and the Earth Federation (Earth). Travel between the two is restricted for diplomatic purposes and confined to a single spaceport on Earth.

One day the lunar princess, Feena Fam Earthlight, comes to the protagonist's home for a visit...
