  1. To be fair, it is a moege, so there's a certain level of predictableness that's to be expected.  What really makes me laugh, though, is it's rated 9/10 on Steam.  I like it so far, but it's definitely not even close to a 9/10.  I doubt any moege deserves a 9/10 rating.

Well true. It's probably just me but I can't feel enough HHHNNNGGG to continue the VN. I'll still finish it today or tomorrow so I can move on and read another one.

  2. Done with Ayaka's route. I was able to finish it without stalling it. Then I read Ritsuko and the plot looks so obvious that I stopped a lot of times before I finished the route. I am currently at Chiho's route. Didn't really find it interesting. I'm currently at the Sports festival btw.

  3. Until timeout is set to at least like ~1 hour the chat is essentially unusuable by me as I really can't be bothered to reload every x minutes. The only way I would use the old one in the first place is with Nay's userscript though, without that the experience is utterly terrible.

Pretty much. It's a pain if you're playing a VN.

  4. My commentary on this:

-Most users from '12 are long gone and generally only lasted a few months to a year. Fuwanovel was quite small than, and after most users talked about all the topics that interested them, they left.

    - '13ers are split into two groups in my view: The '13ers from before August (or around that period) are different from the one who joined after August.

-'13ers who joined before August are more similar to the '12ers in the sense that after a few months they left or significantly dropped their activity. This happened to me and to a lot of acquaintances I remember from back then. I'm different mostly in the fact that after a really long hiatus I actually came back (and became more active than ever). Back then discussions on Fuwanovel were mostly focused on detailed discussions of VNs and anime. Which was honestly fantastic while it lasted. But once most people had discussed everything they wanted to, they grew bored of Fuwanovel; and generally left. Keep in mind this was back during Aaeru's reign; and she was more concerned with fighting copyright than with fostering the community (in my view at least). And I think the flaky attitude in the community back then reflected that.

Way back, the forum is more of a "if it's not VN related, it should not be posted in the forum". It's only later that they added boards for members to post things unrelated to VN.

  5. I'll check out the megathread, for sure! It's been ages since I've played the game but have been wanting to replay lately; perhaps talking about it will be the motivation I need!
