About the last question... even otome players aren't even sure, since they do hate MC who's useless and weak. Still many otome games have idiotic MCs... guess the Devs think they're girls' games so the MC must be weak lol (which is unreasonable and non-sense). Hello, I'm the project leader for Golden ☆ Spirit, an English translation group that works on otome games. (Well, for now otome is the main genre we work on). I have a main blog here - which is where I update most of the progress and recruitments. We're working on Dot Kareshi (aim to be released by the end of this year) and Ken ga Kimi. Regarding Ken ga Kimi, we're looking for translators (JP --> EN) to help with the project! The game is really long with an amount of old kanji (I'm not trying to scare off translators so it might not be as bad as it sounds), the historical theme just makes things harder, so we're lacking translators right now. We already have translators on the team, though lost contact with some of them already, but with the amount of workload putting on the remaining translators, it's unfair for them and also make it difficult to handle the project So if anyone can help us we'd really appreciate it, if you're not confident in your Japanese skills you can try translating a script from the game here and send it to me. Thanks for your help! Welp... tried it, edited some lines in the scripts, the game can run 'til the main menu, but once you start playing it only shows a blank screen with music :/ Looks like something must be done (that I don't know) before changing the text to English >_<

Ah thank you for all your suggestions, I'll go with AnimeED first though... I got the scripts out, which is in the scenario.rpd (I'm not sure if all the scripts are in there, maybe somewhere else? There are like 359 script files in the scenario.rpd right now) Try opening the files in MSword, see a whole bunch of command lines, code and scripts, so I'm still wondering if editing them will crash the game. Do you mind if I ask how to put them all back into the .rpd file?... (Repacking)

I'm planning to start a translation project, and try contacting some hackers but no news... I post images of the game files to see if anyone can help me. Uh, I was inserting the scripts back into the game, it played smoothly through the common route, but there are 2 endings I can't get because of this error: "Script error: Cannot find [.tbl] file" I use a script tool HERE. Of course I've asked the tool-maker, but she hasn't figured it out so I thought asking more ppl would help... If anyone knows how to fix this or has any suggestions, please help me! I'll provide more info if needed. Thank you so much!!!

Well, Alice no Kuni is famous as well, I've never tried it though (Japanese barrier...) Second Reproduction isn't that scary though, if you're more of a Jap otome gamer you should really give it a try (aaaaaand if you want happy ends, I'd recommend a walkthrough 'cuz the bad ends are...pretty bad) xD Oh, Yo-jin-bo is a good one for me, it's originally Jap game that's been translated to Eng \m/

Well... I like A Troll's Fairy Tale, Nachtigal and Pyrite Heart (they're free games but very pro). It actually depends on your taste as well... do you like Jap games, or English ones, or free/commercial or mystery, slice of life...etc

Hello, so as the title says, I'm looking for someone who can hack the game Ozmafia!!, I know the developers said something about they may think about doing an English patch for the game, but who knows when? So I'm trying to gather a group for the project. I can only do the finding, contacting, reminding, proofreading, editing the scripts, backing up stuff and all that (Ok for short, project leader/manager...? I'll try everything to keep it alive ><) I'll look for translators as well, but hackers are really hard to find so if anyone can help, please contact me p/s: I pretty much have a blog here for another on-going translation, just so you guys know...

Hm...there are lots of English free otome games in Aaeru's link. I'm too lazy to play all of them. Jap otomes are always good, but they never translate them into English...what a pain. Good VN means Japanese...

Um, guys...does anyone here know Japanese and is willing to be the translator of the Starry☆Sky series (beside In Spring)?
