Personally I had no problems with Persona 4. It was made to be a totally different experience than P3 but it wasn't done poorly in a any way so you can't really blame it for that. I do agree that they're milking the series, but most of the games they're producing are still pretty good when compared to a lot of things, so I don't really have a problem with that either. Ultimax was amazing cause I feel like it gave me some closure on P3 (which the Answer failed to do on so many levels).

I think you're just way over-leveled.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with how Owari turned itself around. Definitely gonna have to watch season 2 now when it comes out.

Damn Chapter 2 does drag on forever. I'm done with the Lastation part at least, on to Lowee. Also, I totally see the Nepgear appeal, I'd be tempted to use an avatar if Helvitica wasn't already. Red is pretty great too.

I completely disagree. I find myself not caring how characters in manga act at all. For instance, I both read and watched Nodame and I can say the anime experience is 100x better. It's quite simple, anime uses more senses. Hearing is a large factor, and having a voice actor with great expression say the line "I love you" resonates with you much more than simply reading the words. Sure if it's not done well that can ruin it but if it's done well enough or wonderfully it enhances the experience so much more. I honestly couldn't think of a duller way to spend an afternoon than sitting around reading manga/comic books.

I literally just got done watching 62 episodes of Fanservice the anime. I will take anything that doesn't have a panty-shot every 2 minutes at this point.

Saw Jurassic World today. It was pretty much amazing. A little slow in the beginning and a BS ending but otherwise pure awesomeness.

The only way a manga is superior to an anime IMO is if they cut enough content in the adaptation to make the story not make sense. Otherwise, anime is just a far superior medium (to me at least) than reading. Action anime especially, good luck trying to get any enjoyment out of that. It's so much cooler to just watch.

Alright folks times up. Continuing where we left off, kyrt is in charge and he has decided to do something a little unique. For this cycle, we shall watch any anime that fits the other rules from Studio Gonzo. Also a note, this is the last time that genre (or studio? I don't know) selection will be done this way so the winner of this cycle will not be choosing the next one. I just wanted to give kyrt his dues before we change things. Also, since Spring is almost done, it's time to start putting forth selections for the Summer anime cycle as well. Since summer equates horror for me, I'll be putting forth Gakkou Gurashi! (waits for inevitable Everyday Life with Monster Girls recommendation). Well then, let's begin. EDIT: Legit polling is up.
