theres sex and gore in game of thrones
although the sex isnt as graphic as in Vns but still

    Hello, this isnt really me asking for a recommendation perse...but I didnt know where else to make this thread and its driving me insane ;__;

Ive been looking for this VN on vndb for 2 hours trying all the different tags and nothing...

Its a VN where the protagonist is a really powerful hero(yuusha) that was summoned from another world

it starts I believe when he starts going to school in that world and during the assembly(??) his former companion and girlfriend ( she broke up with him because of blackmail from some evil group or something) who is also a hero in that world appears and declares she hasnt given up on him and suddenly kisses him

this yuusha heroine is short, pettanko and has long silver/white hair

    Misaki
I really recommend that you play Misaki's path before Asuka's.  Why?  Because though this is my out of bounds favorite path and heroine, it becomes so bloody obvious Asuka's path is the main heroine path after playing all of them that you just have to be a bit exasperated.  It would have made a lot more sense to force you to play the other three heroines before Asuka, simply because of the difference in the level of care and detail that went into them.  Nonetheless, Misaki's path is probably - when it comes to the emotional and heroineXprotagonist interactions - the best of the paths.  The protagonist shows off the worst of his personality in this one, and Misaki is equally ugly emotionally at the beginning.  In terms of the actual action, it doesn't quite match the dramatic match at the end of Asuka's path, but it far surpasses anything that existed in the other two.  For someone just looking to enjoy the atmosphere of competition, I'd suggest playing Misaki's path and then Asuka's... then just stopping there.

    Finale
There is a short 'what if?' story after you finish all the four heroines that starts immediately after the epilogue whether you want it to or not.  It is basically a short scenario where the protagonist managed to climb back into the saddle without choosing a heroine and has a conversation with Aoi.  To be honest, I thought this was a waste of time, in the end (in fact, I would have preferred for them to have made a path with the heroines as side-characters and the protagonist as the only major competitor, because I'm just like that).

    Overall
Overall, this VN is really suited for people who like anime and VNs with intense competition.  It isn't suited for people who don't like seishun drama.  In fact, I can guarantee that for every person who loves this game, there will be at least two who hate it within an hour... amongst the Japanese, since I can't see this getting tled anytime soon.  It is just too large (not as large as Grisaia, but then, it isn't as good as Grisaia, either).  I gave this game a relatively high rating on vndb, but that is because I rated based on my most unbiased possible opinion, rather than giving it the rating I thought would have been proper based on instinct.

PS:  Blane, Overkill... this is a VN that picks those who will like it.  It is definitely not a kamige (Masshiro's path basically destroys any possibility of that), but it is also definitely one of the better VNs this quarter.

Mmm... a seemingly normal guy who is surprisingly strong of heart when it is necessary.  tbh, I don't think I could have done what he does pretty much from the beginning of the story (sorry for being vague, but I'm speaking to one of the central parts of the plot).  He's surprisingly adaptable (especially considering how weird the thing with the oni is).  He definitely isn't a non-entity, despite those somewhat common character traits.

Edit:  I know, he sounds like the average VN protag... and for the most part that's true.  The fact that the writers managed to actually add depth to such a character was one of the aspects that made me like this one.

It isn't thrown out the window... the protagonist never does completely get over his reaction to girls outside his circle of friends.  However, he does get better, though to differing degrees, in each path.

Just finished Houkago no Futekikakusha... two things.  One, if you don't cry within the first hour, you are heartless... and you'll probably end up crying throughout the entire VN, if you are even a little vulnerable to tragic scenes.  Another is that the writer seems to have done his best to create a setting/situation that is unbelievably cruel to the characters involved.  Itsuka, the protagonist, is the worst off of the entire group, and the writer does a wonderful job of portraying his suffering (making me wonder if he is a sadist).

There is no rape or snuff in this game, despite what Erogamescape says (though you shouldn't trust the tags there anyway).  However, because of the rather brutal scenes that are unavoidable in each path, it is understandable that they would see it that way.  This game has some really horribly violent scenes in it, and for that reason, it would hit someone not used to that sort of thing far too hard.  This game is an utsuge, for all but the final path, so the lack of hope to the characters' situation will probably sink someone that goes in expecting chuuni or a moege.

Two huge problems with this game, from a lover of a good story.  Too many issues with the setting in general go unexplained, and though they are explained in a sort of off-hand manner at the end of the final path, it isn't in detail or with any real explanation of the deepest underlying issues.  Another is that, while the final path's ending provides a conclusion, it also leaves the reader feeling uneasy, because it seems like something else is behind what caused all the tragedies, based on the words from the antagonist that appears in the final path.  For those reasons, I had to rate this game a bit below what I would have preferred.  While I enjoyed this game emotionally and feel an immense amount of stress relief after the end, those issues prevented it from entering my permanent favorites list.

Not as a company, but as a writer, Kotaro Uchikoshi's works seem to keep being put on hold/cancelled due to funding(or lack thereof). I heard 12Riven was supposed to be the first of a trilogy, which never happened, Remember11 ran out of funding midway through so it had a

ending, and now I need to see that Zero Escape 3 gets released before I die, which is not greenlit by Spike Chunsoft because it is "not profitable enough"... *grits teeth*

http://vndb.org/v13630 I just finished this VN (sorry to those who wanted me to play Futekikakusha first, but I'd already started this).  First, like all Clochette games, this is a story-heavy charage with fantasy elements.  This is based in the same world as Suzunone Seven, albeit a long time before the time in which that was based (as evidenced by the presence of a certain, much younger version of one of the sub characters from Suzunone Seven).

To be honest... I spent most of this game either grinning or rofling.  Yes, there are emotional moments to each of the heroines' stories, but most of the game is either heart-warming or just generally so hilarious you can't help but grin.  The main reason I like Clochette was because of that ability to balance a reasonably interesting story with great character dynamics and humor.  Like all charage, the story isn't spectacularly awesome, but it is definitely at the top of what you'll see out of this type of game.  The protagonist, who is a total siscon gamer, is not an idiot (one of the prime blessings of Clochette games is that the protagonist is actually a person rather than a cipher) and the girls actually have a legitimate reason for falling for him (he has qualities that make it possible).  If you've played as many games of this type as I have, you'll see this for the blessing it is.

Last, my recommendations... this game is not for lolifans, as Clochette pulls its usual cast of oppaikko out of its hat, with a single normal/almost-loli heroine.  However, if you do like to laugh and have a fondness for general fun and groups of friends, this is a good choice.  Definitely a candidate for VN of the Month, though I'll reserve judgment until I've played Futekikakusha and at least one other game from May.
