  1. I do it because I'm pretty much out of visual novels that have been translated into english and I have an interest in reading. One of my favorite VNs I read using VNReader Natsukumo Yururu. As you read more VNs with a machine translator the easier it gets to decipher what is being said though you'll occasionally run into a sentence that you have little to no idea what is being said. It also varies from VN to VN. Some have a lot more complicated writing than others. A good way to get used machine translators is reading some nukiges or more simplistic VNs, though this isn't always true. I found Natsukumo Yururu to be a fairly easy read for the most part except some of the biology stuff. Where as I found Monster Park 2 to be harder to read I think this had to do with the way some of the characters spoke. I haven't attempted a 30-50 hour VN yet, though there are 3 I am thinking about reading once I finish with Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai. They are Soushuu Senshinkan Gakuen Hachimyoujin, Midori no Umi, and Tasogare no Sinsemilla.

Wanna try this one? You will want to throw the PC out of the window soon enough

  2. You basically have to hold down the skip button to get past those bugged points, meaning you end up missing the lines during those points, Sanahtlig.  Also, most of the top voters on that one are well-known troll voters and bots that either go back and rate VNs highly that they haven't played or pre-rate VNs before they are released...

Edit: Also, EGS scores are biased toward moege and certain types of popular nukige, so they aren't a reliable judge of any other genre.

That means the judgement from one single person is also not that reliable, I guess? No offence.

  3. I mean yeah, but imagine all the work that would be required to make an all-ages version of say Dracu-riot. You'd need to remove all the scenes, the scenes leading up and after, then all the after stories as well. Considering we haven't had basically any Japanese company do something like that before (G-senjou technically had an all-ages version with the English patch), I can't see Yuzusoft being the first.

You mean second? Because Grisaia is the first.

  4. Ok I need help because I am getting really pissed off. I cannot get this to work no matter what on my pc.

I tried it on 2 pc's. windows 7 and windows 8.1 and BOTH have the same results. I even blocked the exe so it couldn't connect to the internet. still won't work.

every time I start the program it immediately crashes.

someone PLEASE help! I WANT TO PLAY THIS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BAD!

Which version are you using? Steam? MG? Or some random pirated version?

  5. Mainstream...............mainstream could also ruin it for the hardcore community. I personally am sick of censorship. These are not kids for games, so I don't know why the insistence on all ages titles. Heck, even said "all ages" titles on Steam ask for your birthday.

Umm...those two propeller games are all-ages from the start. Where do you expect them to censor?
