  1. I hate all that restoration patch crap. I managed to make it work but with no sound in cutscenes. I'd rather cut my balls than go though that process again.

Also why are people using that old NTLEA when there's Locale Emulator?

  2. @Zenophilious Yeah....no thanks. I know it's wrong but I really don't have an abundance of money to buy everything twice just because the first one was a little f*cked. And I assume PULLTOP gets some money from steam sales.

RE: Yea, I said I know it's wrong. Also, I bought the steam version without knowing anything about the original game :amane:

I've been playing the game the past few days using the old restoration patch.

Is there a way to remove the patch and play the game without it? I don't care if I have to start the game over. Ideally I'd rather not reinstall.

If you mean the restoration patch for steam version...no you can't remove the patch since it changes and/or overwrites numerous files. The same applies to translation patch for the pulltop version. So you have to reinstall either way.

  4. Still I'd guess it's harder to make the patch for steam version than just for the pulltop one....judging just by the funcionality of the current patch in the guide on steam. For me the one thing that wasn't working was the music during the opening of the game even after several reinstalls and two japanese locale emulators. Btw there are ways to download the game without using p2p client yourself.

@Pabloc Nice. Thanks for updates on progress. I hope the translation will be decent enough to finally understand the other routes besides Kotori. :Chocola:

  5. Also he doesn't seem to know that distance between seeder and leecher plays a major role. Him saying speed depends on number of seeders is completely wrong. Btw the torrent we were talking about is beign seeded from seedbox with 10Gbps upload which is situated in Netherlands. And since nobody asked much relevant to this translation....how is it going Pabloc?

That's a well known issue with the partial restoration patch and it is something they mentioned already on the thread related to it.

The only issue I can see with them using the JP version is the fact it isn't really available via torrent as most torrents of it are dead unless someone is able to fix that.

Not sure but I think you didn't check any respectable torrent site like I don't know... 18+ version of nyaa? Also you need to search for it with it's original Japanese title.
