  1. C'mon guys. Stop now. I knew this was all a joke, most of them half-meant. But it doesn't matter to me, I do what I like with the people I enjoy with. School's worse. You all know how it is nowadays...I've had enough bullies for one life time, I'll be damned if I find some here. I get all the comments about Koisuru being better than SB, I just thought it would be as enjoyable as Sakura Swim Club. So please, stop arguing over petty things. I respect each and every decision/comment you make. After all...more fire to the flame won't stop it. Here, I'm free, I'm happy, I feel a sense of belonging...I don't want to see people argue over these petty things.

Good day to you sirs and madams.

  2. As the title suggests, it's all about those 2 VNs. I recently got into Sakura Beach after watching the Swim Club one by EricVanWilderman. Though, I have to ask...is it similar to Sakura Spirit where there is only one choice? Or is it like Koisuru where you have to stick with one girl to get an ending? I haven't seen any walkthroughs here or in the net for that matter regarding the Beach ones. Any and all help is appreciated! Thanks.

  3. I see. Hmmm...might do that when I fully learn Japanese. So anyway, what's the 'real' difference from this Harem route and the 3P Route I got? I'm still seriously wrapping my head around this.

3P = An unlockable side story with almost no plot and two extended threesome H-scenes. I won't spoil the groupings, but most people seem to like them.

Harem = A wet and sticky Soutarou dogpile. I haven't played it, since it was outside the scope of our patch project, but I hear there's even less plot.

The team has no plans to translate any add-ons, fandiscs, or additional scenarios at this time*, including the harem route. Sorry! :)

*At this time = until the heat death of the universe.

    HHHHNNNNNGNGNG....interesting...I shall..inspect this route.

Awww that's a shame, it would have been great if the Harem route was translated. Oh well, time to learn Japanese. Thanks and it's okay, no worries! :D

  4.  Really? I thought there was a separate one. Cause I saw a screencap from another site, he had a 3P ROUTE AND a HAREM ROUTE at the end. So I guess I should play that AFTER all of the routes, right?

    *Umi stare*

There is a harem "route". You need to apply it with a patch but it isn't translated and there is no plans to translate it.

  5. its the harem route I was talking about in that other thread remember? It is unlocked after clearing 1 main route.

  6. Yes--and No.

No because it'll just ruin the experience for me.

Yes because if I'm so frustrated in getting that good ending with a certain girl and somehow can't get it--I use the route guides to get me there.

No guides makes the VN more immersible, hence...our escape from our own reality which is steadily crumbling into chaos; this crappy generation...I agree with all my 18 yrs of existence..

  7. All set bro. Though I downloaded the pre-patched one for less hassle. I don't know if it has all the "extra scenes" though, but I did get a 3P ROUTE after Umi, still figuring out what it was. So I posted a thread.

We also have an official discussion for KoiRizo here:

    #Rihobestgirl

*runs away before she gets stoned by Umi fans*

UNFORGIVABLE!! HOW DARE YOU PLAY WITH MY INNOCENCE!! UMI FTW!! XD

*chases after you with Umi fans*

  8. Okay, so after getting the first ending(bad), I finished Umi's route. And I would just like to say that--UMI IS SOOOOO ADORBS!!! Like super! I think I might have fallen in love with her character. Of course, I hope we all get the romance in our lives that we deserve.

Moving on! After Umi's route, I got a "3P ROUTE" at the bottom of the title screen, written in a red box. Now, I don't know if the file I got already has those 'extra' scenes, like the Harem scene for instance. Anyway, I clicked it and Sango appeared, I exited immediately saying that this must some kind of special route. Anybody care to explain it to me? I'm kinda lost. Thanks in advance!

  9. Yup, that's the bad ending at the very end of the common route. Wasn't listed in the walkthrough last time I checked, but you can get it by not really focusing your choices around one girl.

Ohhh it makes a lot of sense now. Do you know where I can find all the possible routes? Even the neutral or bad endings? So far, I have seen none. All routes for girls..

There are only six endings — one for each of the five girls, plus the bad ending you just encountered. No neutral or other endings to speak of. The existing walkthrough should have everything except the bad end covered.

Okay, thanks! I want Umi first :3

  10. Yup, that's the bad ending at the very end of the common route. Wasn't listed in the walkthrough last time I checked, but you can get it by not really focusing your choices around one girl.

You just pick every choice that involves the same girl and you get her good end, basically. There is only 1 bad end.

Hai. So the bad ending, is the one I got? Correct? Sure as hell looks like it.

  11. I was not aware there was any "bad" endings, but it sounds like the typical neutral ending where you have been too indecisive and not triggered enough flags for any girl. Or possibly just a glitch.

I don't know man. I was all sweet and lovey dovey with Umi, then the next thing I know, the manager is serious...I don't get it.

  12. Okay, I have absolutely no idea what route I had done. I mostly did things with Kouzaki, but after poking around the "no visitors" and talking to the chef, Nagisa talked to me and asked if me and Umi were really a 'couple.' It ended by me confessing otherwise and me going back home; then...NO MORE. What route did I get? I'm seriously saddened and helpless right now. It was a shock to me, did I get the bad ending? But the route guides don't indicate this ending here...

  13. Who, exactly, said that Yume Miru and Muv Luv were heart-warming VN's? I mean, I guess Muv Luv unlimited isn't bad, but Alternative gave me borderline PTSD, and Yume Miru makes you slog through a sea of despair before you get to the heart-warming parts. Just a warning :michiru:

Well, Katawa Shoujo had the same effect for getting the good endings, so it's all good. Thanks for the heads-up.

  14. Steam isnt the place for VNs. I wouldnt dare buy a single VN from it unless it's indie/western style. Those tend to have no erotic content anyway and therefore not censored/cut in any way.

there are some really good vns on steam, like planetarian, ame no marginal, higurashi (you will need to wait a lifetime too play all the chapters but it's uncensored :P )eden, yes it is "censored" but nothing really important and the content missing is crap, fault, world end, everlasting summer (free), hatoful, analogue, etc etc. Granted is not the best play to find vn because most of them are censored or butchered but there still are some good vn untouched.

Oh God...dammit, I don't want anything even remotely similar to Higurashi. Deym. Such...rawness. *barfs*

Yeah, I get that with "Steam." Damn them butchering the good VNs...

I don't think its so much "butchering" more as in I don't know if Steam would be willing to host what is pornography, especially Japanese pornography. I try to buy the VN's I can when I find a good deal on them. I feel bad saying this as I support Fuwa becoming a non-piracy website, and I wish, WISH, I could buy every VN, but some of them are outrageous at 80-120 dollars, for short ones.

Well, for me that "Jap P part" is what makes the VNs more lively and more close to life than usual non-h VNs. Idk. I just find it more normal than most.

I do buy them when I can, I even have many vns on mangagamer that I still haven't even played after many months of buying them, even after pirating I buy them like I did with yume miru kusuri (i beat the novel and then i bought it xD ) still I like to support small doujins on kickstarter and indiegogo I think that's more important and does really make an impact on the companies than lets say buy and support a vn on dlsite, but that's just my opinion.

btw this is still not true "Without us buying vns, devs will have less motivation to produce higher quality vns."

That is true. The only reason I want to "download them for free" is cause so I can experience the VN first before surely saying that it's worth my money. Review aren't all their cracked up to be nowadays.

  16. The patch is just a patch. You need to have the game already installed, then apply the patch ;)

    Cool! Thanks! :D

G-Senjou no Maou is on steam, so is Grisaia. (If you want the adult-version Grisaia has a patch I THINK, dunno about G-Senjou.)

There isn't a patch for Grisaia if I understand it correctly. Something which seemed to have pissed off a lot of people that got it through kickstarter.  But you can buy the uncensored version from Denpasoft now. It does not have any of the new CGs though. A small price to pay some would say but there it is.

Shame. I really don't like how some VNs have their own website on which to pay there using a credit card or something like that. Steam would be better.

Exactly! Problem is...I don't have a credit card or such, Steam is the next best bet if I want to play a VN..though with stupid goddamn censorship which makes no sense at all T-T

  17. The link to steam are for those games that have a Steam release. You can find patches for the others: Hoshizora no Memoria, Sharin no Kuni, Rewrite, etc.

Awesome. I won't stop looking. Though there is one confusing thing...I search link in Google, I found:

    Full game: 1.something GB

    Eng patch: 5.something MB

Stuff like these, I don't know which to get. The full game or the eng patch, though the eng patch is just...MB. Is it just a config for the full game dl?

  18. visual novels are not cheap, specially if you buy them from japanese websites and from steam you will mostly get censored vns, some of them butchered like if my heart had wings others just the eroge, there are good vn on steam though like end world, ame no marginal, planetarian, fault, etc and clannad is going to be released very soon :)

I almost forgot you can play narcissu for free but is not really heart warming is more like a heart destroying :P

EXACTLY! Damn. All the good VNs on Steam are butchered to suck. IFMHHW is spot-on! Kotori's bathtub scene....she's wearing a towel..inside the bathtub..while holding a towel herself...while the dialogue is saying to "cover her up." Genius. But mine is in the mobile version. But I don't know why it says 'Limited Edition', I don't get that part for the IOS.

My heart regarding VNs can only take so much, I can't even bear to do the "bad ending" and neutral one with Emi and Lilly in Katawa Shoujo. I just can't! Emi's puppy dog eyes are sooo..kawai. LILLY FOREVER!

I don't think you can call that "narrow it down" :D

    Anyway.

Grisaia and G-senjou you can buy on Steam.

Kira Kira you can buy on Mangagamer website.

Yume Miru Kusuri and Steins;Gate you can buy on JastUsa website.

Clannad and MuvLuv were kickstarted and I think they will be released on Steam. Wait for that.

For the others you can find a link to the patch on Fuwa's home. The game you can either buy online (probably quite expensive though) or download it for free on some websites (but this is not exactly legal).

    Ahahahaha! Ikr. "Narrow."

Link patch? Here? How? Where? Teach me senpai...

Literally on this site homepage, if you click on browse, then just search the game you want.

    For example: Hoshizora no Memoria

     fuwanovel.net/novels/hoshizora-no-memoria

Game description and link to the english patch.

You mean in fuwanovel.net? In the Browse tab? Most have only one link going to Steam. Shame. I need to save more this college T-T

  19. I don't think you can call that "narrow it down" :D

none of those vns are free, the only free game that is heart warming is brass restoration which is not on that list :P

Hahaha, well it was worth a try. I didn't really like brass that much, but maybe in the future, I'll play it.

G-Senjou no Maou is on steam, so is Grisaia. (If you want the adult-version Grisaia has a patch I THINK, dunno about G-Senjou.)

I'm gonna go ahead and vote for Sharin No Kuni, G-Senjou no Maou, Muv-Luv and Steins;Gate. Do keep in mind that in my opinion Steins;Gate and Muv-Luv are just on different levels from the rest.

Check VNDB if you want to actually buy the VN's it usually lists where you can if they have an English licensed version.

That's the problem...I'm not from the US, so I have no way of paying through dollars. If it's in Steam, there is a chance I can buy it. Problem is, some of the VNs here are OP, one was half the price of MTGSV.

  20. Hey guys, I made a new topic about the next VN I'll be playing. It's the most important question at hand, so if y'all can head over there to answer the question, I'll appreciate it. It's the same as this topic's title, but with a "pt 2" at the end. Thanks guys!

  21. So, I have narrowed down to the VNs I'll probably play. These beauties. Now, the question at hand...are these free? Or at least a working link for the full game with eng patch. If it's paid, I don't mind at all, I just want to know which ones are free and not. I'm probably gonna enjoy these all, it's gonna be like my playthrough with Skyrim....but with VNs.

    List:

    Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort
    Hoshizora no Memoria
    Grisaia no Kajitsu
    KiraKira
    Symphonic Rain
    Clannad
    yume miru kusuri
    g- senjou no maou
    Sharin no Kuni
    Stein's;Gate
    Rewrite
    Hoshizora no Memoria
    Muv-Luv
